This was the only shop I could find to work on a CRT monitor. They were able to diagnose the issue right down to an IC that failed. New part was installed and it brought the monitor back to life. This was not an easy task given the complexity of this specific monitor but they charged me a VERY fair price for the work. It was my only experience here but I was very satisfied. They came and picked up my equipment both times, repaired it in a timely manner, and brought it back and hooked it back up making sure it was done correctly before he left. Called in and the tech visited my house to assess the issues, I had an automatic recliner which isn't functioning, pets got in and chewed the wiring. Waiting for parts for that. Washer and dryer same pet issue, replaced the power cords and looks exactly as it was before, came to the house to fix it. Took my payment over the phone. Previously have had a good experience at this place. Took my old Onkyo CD player in. $40 and quickly fixed. But I didn't really use it for about a year, til Xmas--and again it would not read the CDs. Took it back. They tightened something and it worked for a short time. 3rd time I took it back-$100. Got it back on a quick again. Worked for a couple times. I don't use it every week. But when I went back to use it again--nothing! When I finally took it back, I felt I was not getting a true picture. Picked it up and was told it worked but that would be the last time to adjust. I have a 5 year old Samsung flat screen TV, that decided it didn't want to show any pictures, but still wanted to give sound. My wife called Coast to Coast, the tech came out & diagnosed that the back lights had gone bad, apparently a common issue on new flat screens & that's why they are so much cheaper now than 10 years ago. We had them take the TV & replace the lights for less than half of what a new TV would be, they fixed it & dropped it back off as well. This place is gypsy type negotiation at best . Bait and hook classic with a "yes we can fix it and allow weeks", then a return call with 3x estimate with no apply of $100 deposit to the total cost as told initially . They will site fancy words of potentiometer (variable resistor) as pricy and complicated fix for your electronic. (The most expensive part I found was $5 on mouser.com that they sited for repair.) Expect a third world type negotiation with a guess on parts replacement which likely won't fix your unit and more explanation as to why it's going to cost more then the original estimate. Hindsight, let them look at the unit and give you an estimate without payment or you can kiss your initial money goodbye and expect nothing more then a guess . They site YouTube videos as a guess for a fix then quote you based on that . Poor knowledge all the way around! Wouldn't trust these people with anything !!!! read more

A absolute ripofff! I took my simple Panasonic turntable to be repaired. They charged me $50 then I wait for almost two months before it is ready. I get a call that it is ready, BEFORE GETTING AN ESTIMATE, and the total is $250. So $300 to replace the drive motor? I will not go back to them, will not suggest them to anyone, and I find myself so angry that I will give this business a bad review anywhere I can! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! We purchased a light bulb replacement for our toshiba rear projection DLP (a television) from this store. These bulbs cost approximately $160 and last on average 2-3 years. Our last two bulbs have lasted 4 years, and 5 years. We purchased our most recent bulb at the end of February 2014. On May 6th 2014, we were standing in the kitchen and heard a loud pop. Our bulb had burst. After just less than 3 months! Confident that Coast to Coast would replace their obviously faulty bulb, we called them to let them know what happened. Then my husband brought the bulb in to the store for them to see. the owner/manager (heavy russian accent) told us there was NO way that this could happen unless there was something wrong with the fans on the back of our television and refused to give us a new bulb without charging us again. We didn't believe there was anything wrong with our fans but we agreed to let her technician come to our home and check our television for any malfunctions that would cause this. We were prepared to pay him to fix whatever problem he found with our tv AND pay for a brand new bulb IF it was in fact something on our television that caused the bulb to burst. The technician came to our house, checked our television and was surprised to find NOTHING wrong with our fans or anything else on the television. He even commented on how clean the fans were when he arrived. He noted that almost always when he arrives at a service call he finds the fans really dusty and in need of cleaning to function properly. This was not the case with our tv. My husband worked hard to clean them back in February before we put in the new bulb. After the technician discovered no problem, I called the manager at the store to let her know that there wasn't anything wrong with our tv and that maybe the bulb was actually just a bad bulb(which the technician himself concluded)...before I could get to the point of asking her to consider replacing the bad bulb she began yelling at me and calling me a liar, saying I must have come home and cleaned it real fast before the technician arrived. I was shocked. Never had that idea even crossed my mind. She demanded to talk to her technician who agreed with us that there was NOTHING wrong with our tv that would have caused the bulb to burst. We listened to her technician try and tell her that there really was nothing wrong and our tv was REALLY clean and that he DID think it was a bad bulb! (we could even hear her yelling angrily) But she refused to do the right thing by us. We ended up having to pay for the new bulb. Even the technician apologized to us, letting us know we were in the right and his boss was in the wrong. After the technician left I still couldn't believe how horrible this woman had been and I called her back and asked her why she wouldn't replace a faulty item she had sold us and she told me that it is only under warranty for 90 days. I quickly informed her that it had not even been 90 days yet! She then lost her temper again and told me that wasn't her fault because she doesn't make the light bulbs she just sells them. I asked if there was a manufacturer guarantee where the company who makes them would back up their product and she refused to give me an answer. We ended our conversation with me telling her that I was disappointed with her service and that we would be reporting it. :-/ read more

Cannot say enough good things about my experience. Drove my big screen TV in from an hour away. They helped to unload it from the back of my truck. When they found out I was from out of town, they diagnosed the problem and fixed it (fixed/replaced the fan, replaced the power unit, generally cleaned the inside of the unit, and cleaned the inside of the protective screen) while I had lunch and ran two errands. Then they loaded the unit into the back of my truck for the trip home. Saved me 2 hours of driving on another day and the price was reasonable. read more
