At last minute, I decided to sit in Jessica's chair. Now for a woman of a certain age, on a hot and humid day- her artistry would have to transition from the fresh faces bridal entourage to well, me. She was so kind and a delight to get to know. She took the time to address any areas of concern- or that made me feel not-so-pretty. I couldn't believe it, I looked like myself and not photoshopped but felt oh so pretty and ready for my day. As I stood in the rain, with my sweet friend couple, my makeup stayed in place. No streaking mascara - nothing. Since she took so much time and care in this spur of the moment request, she will now have carte blanche on my hair. Jessica Griffin - remember that name!

It is owned by a gorg women who will literally go out of her way to make you healthy and wealthy. She charges so modestly for the experience and product you leave with. I got my eyelashes curled for the first time, not only did my lashes come out so cute looking like I got a full set of extensions, but she gave me eye cooling pads and took care of other small things like brows and a break-out that I had mentioned had been annoying me. I did do a treatment at the South Portland location with Natalie and it was wonderful. Carrie was super welcoming and Natalie was more than helpful and she explained ever step. I felt super comfortable with her and will be going back for follow-up treatments. In my experience, I liked the South Portland location much better - even though it is further away from me.

The girls at the front desk tend to talk down to you, and if you decline one of their upsells they become noticeably rude or short. I always try to be polite, and I worked at a tanning salon before so I'm familiar with how things work, but I've been spoken to here like I have no idea what I'm doing. Going tanning should feel like a little self-care moment, but here it feels like you're inconveniencing them. I've never had these issues at the Scarborough location. If you can, go there instead or to Glow in South Portland!
