I'm so so so disappointed. I've never tried this coffee spot and now I wish I had stuck with anything else. The shop was a bit hard to find and I almost went into Coastal Kitchen to ask. I found the entrance around the corner and wasn't thrilled when I entered. Cluttered tables and work spaces that I assume was from morning business. One couple in front of me so I didn't have to wait. The desserts looked decent but I wasn't sold on them, by looks or by the lady at the counter. There was no easy to read menu other than being at the register and the menu had no drink concepts. Basically we have coffee and a counter full of flavors. I hate that I'm a person who doesn't do decisions so this was challenging. I went for pumpkin spice latte. (Don't judge me, I was lost.) I saw her put in the pumpkin flavor and do all the stuff that happens with a latte. She asked if I wanted a double shot and why not. $10.99 later I was expecting a little magic in a cup but I got coffee. It tasted like Burger King coffee in the same size cup. Zero pumpkin flavor. She was very nice but the coffee was not. I'm not one to go for a one-and-out review but at $10.99 for a single, small-sized coffee, I absolutely won't make the same mistake twice. Overall the only positive is the location. Ample seating on the dock and in the atrium but that has nothing to do with the shop so it's a definite 1 star.

This is the friendliest spot on the island. They go above and beyond on every visit, which is a remarkable thing! My normal breakfast is their omelette (it's HUGE) with ham, extra cheese and some griddled onions before they go into the omelette. I grab something for lunch like the hot dog (wrapped in pastry - delicious hot dog), and either chicken salad or their crazy good Club. Of course a pastry is always in order as well. You can't go wrong!

Beautiful coffee shop with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Nestled into the marina area of SSI with beautiful views surrounding. My iced coffee was delicious and the food menu looked amazing. I don't know how but I resisted the delicious treats available on this day, but fully intend to return to have a meal and pastry. Staff was extremely friendly and Wi-Fi was free with lots of space to work. This may be my new favorite coffee shop in the area!

The bloody Mary's were tasty, the right amount of spice and a great skewer with a large olive, pickled okra and pickled celery. So tasty! Our lunch was the Georgia shrimp frittata with cheesy grits, Huevos Esplendido and the Back Home sandwich with roasted potatoes. My shrimp frittata was simply amazing-served nice and hot and the cheesy grits were exactly as they should be here in Georgia-creamy and cheesy. Our wait staff was super attentive and friendly. We were told that it would be about an hour and a half for a table we were ok with that and put our name on the list. I would say it took about an hour for a table. Our server immediately came to the table to ask for our drink orders so we thought we were off to a great start. She also took our food orders rather quickly. However, after that she pretty much disappeared on us. She never once came by to ask if we needed any more mimosas or refills on our waters. She didn't even let us know that the kitchen was backed up. We had to ask the hostess to look for her as it had been 45 minutes after ordering and we had no sign of her. She was outside texting. She then came by and said it's a holiday weekend it's going to be busy and then walked away. Our food was delish and we really liked what we ordered but by the time we got it we had been at the restaurant for at least an hour after ordering. I had the breakfast sandwich that was basically like a bacon and and cheese with tomato on a sandwich with cheesy grits on the side. We waved her down to close out and left right after we finished eating. Server was not friendly or attentive.

Wow this place is fantastic!!…read more Donuts are one of my favorite foods in all the world. When traveling, I love looking for the top rated donuts thru Yelp! At Dulce Dough Bakery, every donut I tried was incredible. The cinnamon brioche donut and the maple brioche donuts were our favorites. My husband had the jalapeño, bacon, cheddar cathead biscuit with the addition of eggs, bacon & cheese. He wants to go back tomorrow for another one!! Coffee is served in jadeite mugs. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice. When my friend was commenting on the homemade juice, the guy making it brought us a small glass of juice to sample! We had some fancy, high end meals while visiting Sea Island. This small donut shop has been the highlight of our visit!

I had to get my order to go this time but the seating area was lovely. The young lady at the register where you order was patient and helpful. It was very difficult to choose, but I had a king cake , glazed and sugar donut. These are not your typical donuts...very hard to describe, but I love it. So much better than the other common stores. I also got a brioche bun and loved it. It's made from the same dough as the doughnuts and I could eat them every day with no problem. Awesome! I tried to go last week on Monday morning, but they were closed. I'm so glad they still had choices left, as when they sell out of an item you have to wait until next time. These are hand made, not mass produced and it really makes a huge difference! I will return for sure!!!!!! I understand now why everyone raves about them and I will be joining the group too.

There were some great options which made choosing difficult, but we tried the biscuits and gravy (go ahead - get 2 biscuits!) and the fried chicken and biscuit. Both were great! The sandwich wasn't huge so it was a perfect amount for breakfast. We sat inside - it's very cute - with a market and to go as well as the tables. Food comes up fast and is really reasonably priced! The chicken was perfectly fried - not greasy - and the hot honey was a nice touch (and thankfully, not too hot). I decided on a grits bowl . I was shocked at ghe size of the bowl when it was delivered a short while later. Huge is an understatement. The grits were well done, the bacon plentiful and lots of cheese. I could only finish about half of it. Really nice dish I will get again. There's not a lot of tables, and it would be hard for a large group but even if you have to wait for a table, it is worth the wait! I will return!

I highly recommend their buffalo crab dip, a concoction that is a buffalo cheese dip served with fresh lump crab. You can really taste the crab in this dish. They don't skimp on it at all. The most clever thing that they did here, though, is to serve it with wonton chips. It's something that's truly unique, as most restaurants would serve a dish like this with regular chips. The wonton chips are a treat unto themselves, having great wonton flavor. However, when you combine it with the dip, it really takes it over the top. Highly recommend. For my entree, I had their Cajun Alfredo pasta. It is linguine served in a "Cajun-spiced Alfredo sauce". It is "served with tasso and smoked sausage", and you can choose to have it with either chicken or wild GA shrimp. In either case, once again, they do not skimp . You get a heaping portion of either chicken or shrimp, and the sauce is very tasty. It is just as described, an Alfredo sauce with a little Cajun flavor, though it is not spicy. It is served with no sides, but no sides are necessary as it is a hearty portion all by itself. Very delicious. The most impressive thing that I saw is that the owner is very hands-on. They have these new-fangled mobile electronic lamps, and the owner came by and noticed that ours wasn't quite working. He replaced it immediately himself. He was very friendly and chatted us up. He also went around and was serving and clearing tables himself. It seems that if you eat here, there's a strong possibility that you could end up meeting the owner! Meeting him was a very nice touch. The only thing that I had a hard time with here was choosing a dish because everything looked so good on the menu! Delicious food and great service. I strongly recommend this place!
