We checked out Palmer's Cafe shortly after their recent renovation and on one of their first nights open for dinner--so glad we did! The space looks great, and it was exciting to see them expanding into dinner service. I went in craving a good burger and ordered the Smashburger, upgrading to the truffle fries... and wow. Sooo good. The burger was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and everything you want from a smash-style burger. The truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade--crispy, indulgent, and hard to stop eating. Overall, a great first dinner experience post-renovation. We're excited to come back and try more of the dinner menu. Highly recommend checking it out!

Stopped by while wandering the village, looking for coffee, and they were kind enough to give me some to go. It was delicious. Bright and airy and so busy. The next day, I'm feeling like dessert. They have bruleéd key lime pie. Oh goodness. Chantilly whipped cream on top. The server caught me licking my plate, it was that good.

Enjoyed a nice breakfast at this local place that was highly recommended. Upon arrival, we had a short wait for our table. Once seated our waiter took our orders and before I could even finish making our coffee the food was on the table. I ordered the French toast and side pancake. The French toast was a little thicker than I preferred but still tasted great. My husband had the steak and eggs. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend this cute and cozy restaurant.

We've been here for breakfast, but wanted to try their dinner menu. We arrived during happy hour. We were able to try a few things off the happy hour menu. We ordered a crab dip with wonton chips, crabcake, and tomato soup. The server indicated the offerings were half price, but also reduce portions. Everything was fine when it came out. The crabcake was a little soft texture for me but again fine. Tomato soup was unremarkable but tasty, and the crab dip was nice and probably my favorite. We also ordered a couple glasses of wine. My wife then ordered a goat cheese and pear salad with steak rare and I ordered the double bone in pork chop. I asked for it to be on the rare side. The pork chop was a decent size on a bed of mashed potatoes. The pork chop came out a little more cooked than I like however, it was good. My wife enjoyed the salad and steak which was cooked perfectly and a nice portion. We would probably try again and give it another chance since it was a positive experience

This place is always so consistent with their quality of food. Stopped in for bfast before heading to the beach walk. There's usually a line and I only waited about 7 minutes-so worth it! This is a small place but they staff it well and everyone is so nice. I had coffee and the special of the morning. It consisted of 3 seared scallops, 2 eggs over cheesy grits and a homemade biscuit. What a great way to start the day! The scallops were seared perfectly and the homemade biscuit ( which I drizzled honey over) was delish!! I love that the inside is so clean and they showcase local artists on the walls. Def recommend this place any time of day!

We decided to check out Palmer's for brunch today. When we arrived they told us the wait was 15-20 mins. They were spot on, just under 20 mins. I decided to try the Chix Pot Pie Omelet with breakfast potatoes. Yum, a nice comfort food mash-up. The Omelet had great flavor and the potatoes were cooked perfectly with an Old Bay seasoning. Hubs was going to get an Omelet but changed his mind and got a burger instead. He said the burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly and included fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. The service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.

Such a nice and casual venue w fabulous food plus nice menu choices. Something for everyone!

The food was fresh and prepared well. Service was quick and the ambiance was quaint. I had the blackened grouper sandwich with truffle fries and it was delicious!

Nice place near the pier in the village. Nice breakfast offerings. Not particularly great food but certainly enjoyable. Popular with locals.

There were some great options which made choosing difficult, but we tried the biscuits and gravy (go ahead - get 2 biscuits!) and the fried chicken and biscuit. Both were great! The sandwich wasn't huge so it was a perfect amount for breakfast. We sat inside - it's very cute - with a market and to go as well as the tables. Food comes up fast and is really reasonably priced! The chicken was perfectly fried - not greasy - and the hot honey was a nice touch (and thankfully, not too hot). Good bathrooms and lots of tasty looking items in the refrigerated cases (including various types of seafood to cook).

I decided on a grits bowl . I was shocked at ghe size of the bowl when it was delivered a short while later. Huge is an understatement. The grits were well done, the bacon plentiful and lots of cheese. I could only finish about half of it. Really nice dish I will get again. There's not a lot of tables, and it would be hard for a large group but even if you have to wait for a table, it is worth the wait! I will return!

There is ample parking normally but during events or peak times may be challenging. The restaurant decor is nicely appointed with the interior walls being bare brick & ceiling having exposed beams . Roughly 8-9 tables of 4 inside along the wall, 7-8 spots at the counter & 5 tables of 4 outside which has coverage from the sun as well as 6-7 chairs on the side walk area that you can enjoy and adult beverage. During the Winter they have 4 heaters outside nicely spaced to keep you warm on cool evenings. The service was excellent. Sam our waiter/server was attentive and refilled drinks as well as made some recommendations. I had the Black & Blue Wagyu burger w/cucumber salad. The burger was very juicy with burger sauce (mayo, ketchup & mustard combined), tomato, lettuce and bacon. Excellent!! My friend had the Shrimp Po-boy also with cucumber salad. The shrimp were fried and placed into a French roll with Tatar sauce as well as lettuce and tomato. He said the shrimp were hot and were cooked perfectly. The cucumber salad is a cream type salad with ample amount of cucumber slices and dill. If you live on or are visiting St. Simons Island, this is an excellent spot to try. The menu has a good variety of food items to select from as well as various sides & beverage choices from coffees to iced tea/soda to wines & crafted cocktails. Bon appetite'!
