Stopped in for breakfast at Mallery Street Cafe while on St. Simons Island and it was a great choice. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and delicious breakfast--exactly what you want to start the day. We'll definitely be back next time we're on the island!

Hands down, best breakfast place on the island! It is a cozy spot and we lucked out with a table for the 3 of us. The staff was so charming and nice! The menu has a lot of great things on it and crossing was difficult because it all sounded so good! Two of ending up choosing a hollandaise dish and the third an egg plate. Mine was the 2 egg florentine. It had spinach, tomato and goat cheese. It was so delish!! The goat cheese added a nice tang to it. I had a side of grits and I can say these were the best grits I have ever had!! They were creamy and perfectly cooked. Everyone enjoyed their meals so much and we will be back! Def recommend!

Super fun spot! They also have live music and a full bar connected to it, which is open in the afternoons and night time! The staff was very kind and helpful! The live music was fantastic!!

10/10 espresso martini. The bartender was awesome and so friendly. I did not eat here as they do breakfast only, but the food did look super yummy. I will be returning here next time I am in town!

After Great ambiance but overall mediocre food at Echo and The Reserve, wr went the opposite route for brunch and went for quality local food with no view of the beach. :) Great meal. I had the Eggs McIntosh, a Benedict with crabmeat, and corned beef hash as the side (+$1). So good. I tired the potatoes and a bite of the shrimp and Scallop omelet and it was great. At our table we also ordered the ham omelet, eggs Florentine, Parfait, snd French toast sticks. Everyone loved their meals, highly recommend!

There were some great options which made choosing difficult, but we tried the biscuits and gravy (go ahead - get 2 biscuits!) and the fried chicken and biscuit. Both were great! The sandwich wasn't huge so it was a perfect amount for breakfast. We sat inside - it's very cute - with a market and to go as well as the tables. Food comes up fast and is really reasonably priced! The chicken was perfectly fried - not greasy - and the hot honey was a nice touch (and thankfully, not too hot). Good bathrooms and lots of tasty looking items in the refrigerated cases (including various types of seafood to cook).

I decided on a grits bowl . I was shocked at ghe size of the bowl when it was delivered a short while later. Huge is an understatement. The grits were well done, the bacon plentiful and lots of cheese. I could only finish about half of it. Really nice dish I will get again. There's not a lot of tables, and it would be hard for a large group but even if you have to wait for a table, it is worth the wait! I will return!

Really long line, but went kind of fast. But wait time for coffee was 20-30 minutes. And people just kept coming. If you are a coffee snob, and you want a top notch coffee... this place is not it. Was scared to try an espresso, so tried cortado, but it was so bitter the milk didn't even help the flavor. The coffee beans smelled really good, and seemed like they had the right beans to make a good coffee, they just don't care enough about how they brew it. But if you like your coffee with some sugar this place is for you!!! I got the vanilla honey cinnamon, at first it seemed too sugary, but second sip tasted good. I would get it again. They have a lot of flavors and fun seasonal options. Didn't realize until later that it's a chain.

There is ample parking normally but during events or peak times may be challenging. The restaurant decor is nicely appointed with the interior walls being bare brick & ceiling having exposed beams . Roughly 8-9 tables of 4 inside along the wall, 7-8 spots at the counter & 5 tables of 4 outside which has coverage from the sun as well as 6-7 chairs on the side walk area that you can enjoy and adult beverage. During the Winter they have 4 heaters outside nicely spaced to keep you warm on cool evenings. The service was excellent. Sam our waiter/server was attentive and refilled drinks as well as made some recommendations. I had the Black & Blue Wagyu burger w/cucumber salad. The burger was very juicy with burger sauce (mayo, ketchup & mustard combined), tomato, lettuce and bacon. Excellent!! My friend had the Shrimp Po-boy also with cucumber salad. The shrimp were fried and placed into a French roll with Tatar sauce as well as lettuce and tomato. He said the shrimp were hot and were cooked perfectly. The cucumber salad is a cream type salad with ample amount of cucumber slices and dill. If you live on or are visiting St. Simons Island, this is an excellent spot to try. The menu has a good variety of food items to select from as well as various sides & beverage choices from coffees to iced tea/soda to wines & crafted cocktails. Bon appetite'!

Because the restaurant is downtown there is plenty of free street parking spaces right outside the door. There is a bar, with bar seating, The other seating consisted of normal table with hard back chairs, and couches that ran down the side of the wall with tables, and hard back chairs on the other side. Overall, the service was adequate, not good, and certainly not great, but good enough not to stop us from enjoying our night out. I started with what was supposed to be a cup of Tomato Bisque but received and paid for a bowl. Somewhat my fault for not realizing that my serving and what I paid for was large and more expensive than the cup I ordered. With that said, I thought the flavor of the bisque served with, Garlic Buttered Crostini, and grated Smoked Gouda was outstanding. The temperature could have been a bit warmer, but again the flavor was sport on. The wife and I split a very large bowl of PEI Mussels. The Mussels were served in a white wine broth with Shallots, Garlic, Roasted Tomatoes, and Bacon. Honestly, I could and did finish the broth off as a soup. There were quite a few Mussels that did not open, but the bowl was so large, we wouldn't have eaten them anyway. The wife's main dish was the Pan Seared Sea Scallops, with peach and bacon risotto, and fresh Spinach. The dish was finished with an amazing Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction. The scallops were large, the Risotto was great, but the brown butter reduction was the absolute star of the dish. For my main dish I had the Curried Lamb Lollipops, served over Cilantro Basmati Rice, and roasted Tomatoes with an excellent curry sauce. The chops were of good size and cooked to perfection. And please don't even get me started on the fired Garlic Butter Paratha which is some of the best bread I have ever had. My mistake was ordering a side of the Peach and Bacon Risotto similar to what was served with the scallop dish. Without the Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction however, the risotto ate a little dry and had little to no peach flavor. I finished my meal with a bourbon , Mascarpone, bread pudding, which was amazing. The dish was loaded with bourbon which both my wife and I agreed was not completely cooked off. Great dish to finish an outstanding meal. Even with a few minor missteps, the overall flavor of the dishes were so good, I still must give it an overall 5.
