I loved everything about my experience and Jody is amazing. She takes the time to go over everything with you and the wait is only maybe 5 minutes I would have like to know about other services they offer also but the front desk person was the phone. There was no flyer and the website is a little outdated. No worries. Great people, fantastic experience. A consult is $50 and if your initial visit is on Wednesday, they can start the service you choose the day of your consult and visit are typically every 4 -6 weeks.

Used to be The Porehouse but after ownership changes, Ms. Leah continued her buisness under a new name, Leah's Place. Nestled right next door to Bake My Day and easy to find! Ms. Leah is a very warm hearted and professional person. She is always smiling and we pick up conversations easily from where we left off before. Makes you feel right at home and comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. I have had to reschedule due to buisness and she worked with my schedule with no problems! Now, the services I recieve are sensitive in nature. Ya know.... think of Brazil (get me here Ladies?). Sometimes with these services you take a gamble when you go somewhere you're not sure about. Being new in the area and reading hit-or-miss reviews for this type of service, I took a gamble. Soooo happy I did! Leah makes sure you are comfortable and does a fast, clean, and accurate job. I have been recieving these type of services for over 10 years and Leah is crazy quick, but thorough! I can be done completly within 30 minutes. Also, I have read dissapointing reviews of other salons in the area where cleanliness is a problem. Not at Leah's Place! Gloves are worn, a new dip stick is used with EACH application, clean "bed" to lay on. Leah takes care to maintain cleanliness. Look at her health inspection.....100% ! In the past, I had avoided benefit's brow bar because it was more expensive than what I was paying at other waxing salons but today was Sunday & all other waxing services were closed. I needed my eyebrows waxed really bad so I decided to book here. My appointment was at 11:20 & I arrived around 11:15. McKenzie immediately started working on me. She cleaned my eyebrow area with a great smelling solution. She outlined my eyebrows based on the perfect shape for my face. She then showed me the "results" & gave me recommendations which I went with. She then clean my eyebrow area again & waxed my eyebrows. She was precise and she took her time. I did not feel like it was "wax, wax, leave" like other salons do. She then filled in my eyebrows. They look great! She had great customer service and was super friendly. I will be coming back not only because of all the extras you get with the eyebrow wax service but because of her! Ladies, if you're wondering if the $20 is worth it, IT IS! I had double jaw surgery a few years ago to fix a skeletal underbite. Afterwards, I still had a soft tissue deficiency and hanging skin under my chin from my jaw being moved back. Dr. Martin fixed it, at what I consider to be an extremely reasonable price, and I had almost no downtime. Since then, I've also had him do some light fillers to help round our my proportions from the soft tissue deficiencies in my mid-face area and have started doing Dysport in my forehead. I can't imagine going to anyone else or trusting someone the way I trust him. Edit to say that I've also always been treated very well by all of the staff from the receptionists, to the nurses, and so on. They've always gone above and beyond for me.

KAREN was the person who did my chemical peel & ultimately lied from start to finish.. she said those "white marks" that you see on my face where perfectly normal when as you can see by the pictures i have posted below they were in fact an indication that my skin was being chemically burned.. i am so saddened & disappointed by this.. worst experience of my life & i have had a plethora of chemical peels, none of which have EVER burned me or left scarring.. i told her i had 2 major events to attend, a wedding this upcoming weekend & a concert next weekend & after i emailed them these same pictures Karen called me & told me that these were not chemical burns it was normal & that her & her nurse practitioner looked over it.. i could not believe my ears! im so sad with these results i don't even want to go anymore & to add insult to injury i sent these pictures in hoping to find some sort of solution but i was only met with a phone call from KAREN in which she spoke to me in a completely insensitive & condescending tone telling me "her & a nurse practitioner" looked over it & determined it wasn't a burn.. i told her you know what if that's what kind of corporation/business they are then it's very disappointing & saddens me that they could ruin a client's experience that way & do absolutely nothing to make it right.. i went to them to gain confidence & left feeling worse than when i walked in.. i can't even describe how upset i am behind this.. terrible company & people behind it. nothing in life is perfect but the lack of accountability behind their mistake is truly mind blowing.
