I received this massage as a " gift" and booked it in excitement, as I needed it and the benefactor was so kind and thoughtful to gift it to me. So far I have had several great experiences here. Each massage therapist has had a unique touch, and all were very professional. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Tonya, hands down, is who you want if you need some serious work done. Amazing! The only thing I think could improve this place is a more spa like environment... i'd like to have a larger tranquility room to lounge a little after my massage. Other than that, wonderful place! This Massage Envy location is excellent and my preferred place to go for massages. If you are looking for a male therapist who is excellent at Deep Tissue, Eric is amazing. He listens to your needs and customizes your massage exactly to fit what you are needing that day. My favorite female therapists are also great at Deep Tissue massages and I really enjoy April as well as Tanya. The prices are great, especially if you are a member. I highly recommend becoming a member if you need regular massages. This Clinic also offers stretching sessions called Streto Method. I am looking forward to trying the Streto Method soon as it's designed to relax your mind along with your body through specific movements that stretch you beyond what you're able to do yourself. My husband has been a member of Massage Envy Spa for over a year, accruing tons of massage points and never had the time to use most of them. When we visited my parents in Mobile, he was finally able to use some of those points at this location. He went there for 4 days in a row and he is pretty picky about his massages so I'm convinced that this location provide good massages. This location has an excellent reception staff. They were very friendly when I called to book my appointment and through every step of check in and checkout. My therapist was outstanding and checked with me consistently to be sure I was getting exactly what I needed during my service. I love this place! Amazing therapists and estheticians! They have a variety of therapists to choose from and the 90min massage is the one to get. The facials they offer are better than the few I've received. The estheticians are educated and know their products very well and seem very confident in recommending products to the members. The front desk staff... Sweet young ladies that are always willing to help you with an issue that comes up or if you have any questions! I did the 12 Month membership and couldn't be happier. They also run specials from time To time so sometimes I'm able to get free 30 mins or an upgrade. The only thing I would suggest is to READ THE FINE PRINT! My husband bought me a 90 minute massage for Valentine's Day and I wanted to expand and get us a couples massage. I made our reservation and 2 hours b4 our session my husband was caught in Mardi Gras traffic coming in from work. I called to reschedule and was told it would be a 50% session fee penalty to reschedule. I asked the lady one the phone where it stated that? I was upset so I hung up. She then called my husband and he said we will do our very best to make it and we understand that whatever time we are late would come off of our session. We RACED to get there and when we walked in, we were told that they rebooked us because they THOUGHT we decided to reschedule. WTF??? There was nothing they could do..... So now we have a 50% penalty fee if we go back even though we showed! read more

My daughter got me a 1 hour massage for Christmas and I went today with a friend. Oh My Gosh...Amber was great. I wanted a deep tissue full body and I sprung for the Aromatherapy extra. It was a great experience so great that I signed up for the monthly plan so my husband can enjoy Massage Envy in the Seattle area. Best first time experience. I felt in charge of my services, warm and relaxed when I left. I will update my review after I have my next massage on 3/16...it will be for 1.5 hours. Do Not Go Here! Do not waste your money! Horrible customer service. I cancelled my account and they still proceeded to charge me. I spoke to a Katy when I called to cancel, she advised me over the phone that it would be cancelled... They are still charging me and now are saying that they don't cancel over the phone... I received a facial and massage. The massage therapist applied perfect pressure and was very professional. The esthetician was so sweet and had a great touch. I would return here for the great cost and good services. The reason for the 3 star and not 5 is because it felt so average and commercial. There was clearly an up-selling agenda throughout the time spent here. I was very cold the whole time which made it hard for me to feel comfortable. There was not art on the wall, but product advertising and no pleasant aromatherapy that I usually associate with a spa experience. Nothing wrong here, but nothing fantastic either. read more

The few times I had a massage, those services were great. The business end of Massage Envy is horrible. I signed a year's contract and when I fulfilled that contract, I had 5 massage credits, so I opted for the $10 a month maintenance program. That was okay for a while, then very unexpectedly they withdrew a large sum of money from my account with no explanation, no warning, no phones calls. When I called to see why, Liz was very rude and said I was changed back to monthly membership, and had to pay for previous months. Very unprofessional, and unacceptable. Overall the massage and facial was nice and the place was clean. I did feel pressured to buy products afterwards so just be prepared to deal with the sales pitch. Another issue is their policies and promotions aren't clear. We bought a gift card online with the expectation that I would receive 2 free upgrades (which a rep and a therapist confirmed) but after my massage and facial the cashier stated that the upgrades were only for those who purchased a gift card in store. I was denied reimbursement. No where online did it state that the gift card had to be purchased in store to receive the two upgrades. I bought a massage and a facial, called them to try to reschedule, the receptionist on the phone "Anna" talked very rudely, slammed the phone down 4 times after that and was unapologetic about her behavior. My massage therapist was great. I really liked him, but it was their staff and the manager & their way of doing things I was NOT comfortable with at all. They wait until you are finished with your massage and they pressure you into getting a membership. I told them no several times and told them I just wasn't interested and didn't have the money anyway. That was when a second staff member (in addition to the one that was right behind the counter across from me) cornered me at the counter and both of them were pressuring me into signing up. They were not honest about their cancellation policies. I asked them if I could cancel and they told me if I gave them 30 days notice, it'd be no problem. I had a very serious health issue come up and I explained about my medical bills and they promised me they wouldn't run my card, but did anyway and it caused all kinds of financial issues.
