HORRIBLE experience here today. Bought something online last night at 9:38pm. The order didn't show ready until today. My order showed at the sale price today and said ready for pickup. They would not honor my order and said it should have dropped out of my app and that the sale was over yesterday. My order said ready for pick-up and nowhere said the sale was over. I asked to speak to manager who would not honor the sale price and only offered a lesser discount. I then asked to speak to headquarters and was told someone would contact me. Nobody did. Got an email from another store of someone to contact and nobody responded to my email. I have screenshots of my order and where it showed ready for pick-up. Horrible customer experience. The sale should have been honored even if it was a glitch in their system. Also their app needs to specify that the price would only be honored until closing time. If someone from wants to take care of this problem please reach out. Otherwise I suggest to everyone to go to their competitors for better customer experience ! read more

I went in this evening as I do almost daily, and I am normally greeted with much respect from all of the employees.. This visit, however, I wasn't so lucky. It was fairly busy so I simply asked Daniel (whom was working the pick up stand) if I should stand in the regular line or in the pick up line as I wasn't sure and had an online pick up order... granted he was helping someone while I asked, he was so rude to me with his snarky response. He said something along the lines of " yes stand in the regular line because im not going to have you cut in front of my current customer. " like I had no intention of cutting in the slightest and just needed a little direction. Right after this encounter, another customer who was already there when I came in, asked Daniel his name, and Daniel absolutely refused to tell him his name for whatever reason... his demeanor was extremely hostile to say the least.... and im sure im not the only one who would say so... read more

Its been a consistent 2-3 weeks that the deals have no inventory and about 2 months since they had better deals than they do now. Like by 4 for 50% off. Coastal is under new management (Strizzi), today 12/20/26 was the first time we have been there since the change. The Staff was not prepared, unfamiliar with some of the products, and frankly didn't seem to concerned. We were very disappointed that none of our favorite brands are available, Henry's and Dr. Normmi. We selected some products asked a question about a Strizzi battery, it was deer. In head lights. Service was disappointing. Cashier rushed (there was no line) and brushed off my question about cart compatibility. Then when I came back (20 minutes later) she lied to the manager who offered no help. At all. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful, and there was a good selection at reasonable prices. The rest of this review is about the backpack policy. If you have a backpack, you have to leave it with the security guard when you shop here. There is no option to just have it searched on the way in or out. Even if your backpack is only the size of a medium purse, you still have to leave it. It goes on the ground by the guard's desk. There are no lockers or cubbies to put your backpack in while you shop. It is the same with the other dispensary in Concord. They presumably want you to leave your backpack in your car. I think this is because they don't expect or want many customers to arrive on bicycle or on foot. That's somewhat logical: there is a huge parking lot outside the store, and the city is not pedestrian-friendly. Perhaps this business has been robbed by pedestrians with backpacks before. When I come here, it just feels like the business is expressing a rural prejudice against people who don't own cars. They do this by singling out customers with backpacks. It feels almost infantilizing, being asked to leave your backpack with a masked security guard, before you can walk past a heavy door into a big room with four employees pretending to welcome you. Are pedestrians really a burden on your business? Should everyone in the suburbs own a car? Or, should we all be happy to trust an untrusting stranger with our belongings when we shop? Who is more dangerous, someone with a getaway car, or someone with a backpack? In places where most of the shoppers are pedestrians, like San Francisco, rarely is one asked to leave a backpack at the entrance to a business. Somebody suggested to me that maybe this is because San Francisco has less crime, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that merchants can't afford to offend pedestrians, when half of their customers fall into that category. Call me crazy, but I think that where pedestrians are less of a minority, they get more respect. Sometimes I just put all my valuables in my pockets and leave the backpack with the guard and shop here at Coastal. It's not a big deal to jump through the silly hoop. Airport TSA would be worse. But the obvious lack of common sense, combined with the perception of being willfully discriminated against, do give the shopping experience some unpleasant associations for me. I prefer to shop in San Francisco when possible, where pedestrians are not an endangered species. read more

This place had affordable joints, which they keep saying they are going get more in soon. Come to find out they are not going to sell them at all. The closest thing they have is a pack of joints that burn like crap and is a waste of money. People are nice tho. But, they need more plane joint selection instead of infused joints. Wow I can't believe I stumbled across this place in Park & Shop in Concord. Great, helpful employees, including the security guard who took my ID before entering. Once inside, Oscar was especially nice answering all my questions and pointing out a few items for sleep and pain management. Found a few things on sale for less than $5 and I was out of there with an entire bag full of goodies for about $160, including all the crazy taxes. Selections on clothing, chilled drinks, lotions & body wash, pre-rolls, tons of edibles, and more, just blew my mind. Well-done. Concord! I don't even think he blinkno other customer in front of him at that moment except me. When I realized he wasn't going to budge, I ask if he's working. I'm really upset about the service here. Not from the staff but from security. Went in near closing and was told I couldn't be accommodated as there was too many people inside and not enough time (one per minute is what she told me). I watched 4 people walk out within a minute so I decided to ask again and she was more upset and still told me the same thing. I felt like a degenerate. I work in a bar and understand how the law cracks down on us for selling "after hours" and my husband has also worked in security for dispensaries. I'm very aware how the guards need to act. I wanted one thing so I could stave off the pain from my fibro and sleep after I got off my shift. They would have been able to serve me in the legally allowed time frame according to how many people were in there(told to me by the guard!) I shouldn't have to disclose my medical history to bargain with security to get my medication. Wish she would have told me they changed their hours (online now says 9:45) as I have gone in late before and it hasn't been a problem. Like the discounts though. This has to be the worst dispensary in concord. Not only are they the most expensive place, the workers are too busy to help you. Also the selection is really minimal. I would not recommend this dispensary, take the extra few minutes and drive to coco farms. read more
