I ordered 3 packs of the 100 MG Chill milk chocolate bars. The prices were reasonable, especially with a good deal going on today, but I'm still very disappointed. They must not refrigerate or use any insulated bags to keep products cold or from melting, because all three of my packs were melted. This makes it impossible to be able to get an appropriate dosage, because the chocolate is deformed and looks disgusting. I love edibles and love to spend my money on them, but when I'm spending my hard earned money, I want to get what I paid for and that was not melted edibles. The customer service was fine though. *Edit - after contacting the club through Weedmaps, they offered to exchange my melted chocolate bars for new ones. I've been using this Company for a couple of years, and since it changed owners/management, they can't get it together. My last order will indeed be my last with them. I ordered Express at 1:37, and under new mgmt. I've waited more than once over an hour for an ETA. So after almost 2 1/2 hours. I sent a text, no reply, 3 hours tried to call, rang a long time before someone picked up and hung up on me. Sent another text. 3 1/2 hrs., no reply. Sent an email after 4 hrs., no reply. Sent another text, nothing...made one last call at 5:30 and Martis answered the phone!! He said my order went in limbo and he would re-enter it and give me a 10% discount and send it out with the first driver. Then they sent an ETA at 7 pm, another hour and a half, but the driver was here in 8 minutes! Instead of 10% off, the charge was $4 more than the total on my on-line order. Give my 10% discount to the driver who has to hear our complaints, they are all wonderful. I was ready to forgive them for the 5 1/2 hr wait, but when the discount wasn't applied for the screw up and no responses for hours, and the charge was $4 MORE instead, that was it. I'm done with letting them stress me out over ordering. And the new management has the nerve to add a $5 service charge for this horrible change in customer service! I waited so long for my order, I've found several other places near me that I can try who don't add a service charge. This is second time there was an issue, and someone hangs up the phone after it rings a long time. No customer service, discount promised not received and overcharged instead, when they enter the order for you. YOU HAVE RUINED A GOOD BUSINESS. Answer your phone, texts, emails, and do what you say. So Ive been blown away by my experience with Mt Remendy. Not once, or twice, but for years now I cant say enough, they handle their shit by being profesionel and friendly at all levels and every step of the way. It shows in how they handle questions or concerns, or any problems that come up. By being more than fair and going above and beyond, im a customer for life. Everybody makes an effort and spends money to get your business, but not many do the same to keep it. They do. It's been well over 2 years since I wrote this review and a lot has changed since then, but one thing that's stayed consistent is that Mountain Remedy is truly a rare Gem. Since this review, I contacted them to place an order and can't recommend them enough; those I have ordered products for and recommended them to, absolutely love them. Consistent in quality, reliable, and they don't have great customer service but rather they have TOP TIER customer service. The little hiccup we had at first was so minor, it wasn't a big order at all, and I hadn't even established myself as a real customer yet. Basically, they had no obligation nor really any incentive to accommodate me or deal with me as it was especially closing time -- other than genuinely caring about their customers and true compassion. Which, via text with a stranger especially is very rare so I was definitely caught off guard to be treated with so much empathy, such a commitment to wanting to make me happy and overall professionalism. To say I was impressed would be an understatement, but even after that they really went out of their way for me, and THIS is how you build brand loyalty. I worked in customer service starting as a little kid (family biz) and well into adulthood in many different capacities (entry level - operations manager - having my own little service based biz etc. etc.) and the ability to provide truly *excellent* customer service requires soft skills and emotional intelligence that I 100% believe you either have or you don't. Good customer service can be taught same as teaching someone how to use CRM programs but excellent, as we all know, excellence in customer service is a rarity. Typically, those customer service superstars work for exclusive brands or no longer deal with the public at large. Due to my background, the customer service I receive has to be egregious for me to leave a bad review or ever complain as I know how tough the public can be so I give a lot of grace BUT also due to my background, I'm not easily impressed, I just keep it to myself. I believe as with people, businesses are better judged by how conflict is managed: disgruntled customers, responses to bad reviews, how harm or perceived harm/failings or perceived failings are addressed, etc. I say "perceived" as it's important to remember, the Customer is not always right and I do not subscribe to that belief. The Customer is human and can be wrong, stressed out about other things, and unfortunately the poor customer service professional and human being on the other end is dealing with unwarranted abuse. Please remember that before you decide to get snappy. :) Especially after a nightmarish few years and back to back unprofessionalism with some local small businesses and not so small businesses (I really feel Covid has exacerbated an ever depreciating standard of what is considered acceptable customer service) I was really compelled to revisit this gem of a business and update my review. They really could teach some of the others a thing or 20 on properly managing clientele, customer retention, and just overall relationship building. I find them to be incredibly customer centered, I think it's really cute that a local dispensary of all places has set the bar for the best customer service experience I've had and maintaining it throughout. Not once ever disappointing, I would have to say they have been neck and neck with Amex and for me that's really saying a lot. Mountain Remedy's drivers even remember me, are always very kind and upbeat (please treat them well), customer service is on point, and they are locally owned and operated which is always best. I hadn't called in years yet the very sweet and personable lady I communicated with also remembered me! She was a lot of fun, super helpful, informative, and just concierge level service. They treat customers very well and deserve the same in return so please be kind, generous, and support small businesses such as this one that REALLY deserve our support! So I've been a customer for years now and literally got the worst customer service I've ever seen before... they send me an empty vape cartridge, so when I call to get it replaced, they tried to charge me for replacing the already empty cartridge that they sent me. I made an order that was supposed to arrive in 1-2 hours and I ended up waiting 4+ hours until closing time. I had messaged them many times with no response and when I called I was put on hold until someone finally answered. They offered a discount and to send over a driver right away which I would have been happy with, but no driver ever showed up and I'm still up waiting just in case they do. The manager needs to get fired and replaced This was not my first order from this dispensary. I ordered the day before and selected morning delivery, so I expecteded it by midday. I received and email confirmation that my delivery is scheduled for 4:10 AM. WTF? Fast forward to delivery day. So I check into the order tracker periodically, and it continued to delay my delivery. Its 6 PM and my morning delivery hasnt arrived. Time keeps ticking so I use the chat to see where my order is. The "agent" said they had attempted delivery and were not able to reach me. They said they had the wrong phone number and it was their error. I explained I needed to go to the store and was told to go to the store and he would send the delivery person. WHAT?... Dont I need to be there? I say I will wait. He starts asking about delivery tomorrow and saying that because my order was "timed" they cant deliver it tonight... but just a minute ago the driver was on the way?! And tomorrow night is ok, but tonight isnt? So unprofessional. I asked for the managers information 3 times and was told I would be contacted. A legit company will always provide supervisor information upon request. Apparently, the following day they sent the driver, without my notice, while I wasnt home.
