HELLO... I'M HERE (hand waving in the air- that part just for fun but you get the picture). LeighAnna (sp) was awesome with explaining along the way what she'd be doing and why. Then I go to another room and wait 32 minutes for the doctor. While his 'bedside' manners are exemplary, I think that his doting on each patient is what poses the delay. BUT MIND YOU, I LIKE HIM and when its your turn for the extra care, it feels good. Then next... years ago I was seen at this location and purchased a top notch pair of unique eyewear. Bummer! They no longer carry that brand. I'm disappointed but oh well, change is inevitable. Do I recommend, Total Vision in DeBary- yes! But next time, I'll schedule when I don't have to return to work.

All started out fine. My husband had did have some difficulties with the virtual eye testing because they only offered a Spanish interpreter with him being a Portuguese speaking customer, he struggled through it and was able to get the proper prescription. So the issue really started when they told us that we can get our Ray-Ban Meta lenses. We just have to send it out which we were finding. The young lady told us it will usually take around five days so we felt comfortable and agreed. Long story short. We did our appointment on the 14th and we didn't pick our prescription up until the fourth of the following month which was the very first day they told us it was available for pick up. The automatic order entry line gave a date of 29th for pick up and it wasn't ready at that time when we called the kind of asked for an update because we were concerned that due to my husband's prescription type there would be an issue with filling the prescription on our own provided frames. Nobody knew anything about the status of the shipment. They kept telling us to give it another week. I finally called and had to get an attitude for somebody to give me some type of answer, and after that call the end of that week we received our glasses. My main concern is that all the times I contacted the facility. Nobody was able to give me a consistent answer. Everything was all over the place. Every person had a different perspective of when the prescription would be filled in a different reason why it was taking so long no one was on the same page so it did not make for a good customer experience keeping that in mind that we had a $300 pair of glasses that we sent in to be fitted for the lenses.

The doctor suggested I just get the single vision regular lens, because the other types might cause halos around lights, but he didn't say why I was not a good candidate for them as opposed to other people. As it is I am thinking I would have been better off waiting longer to get cataract surgery since the thing I was expecting didn't happen which was better distance vision for driving. Instead I now have to use glasses for close up vision and it's not very satisfactory. In fact it's not near as good as my natural near vision was.
