I went to Lenscrafters in Daytona Beach Florida last year and purchased a pair of glasses with an…read moreexpensive set of frames ( I don't remember the name ) and progressive lens with all the addon's; blue light, sun darkening, etc. The cost was over $700.00. In the store they looked and worked fine. After a few days I started to notice I was getting dizzy while wearing them. I planned to return to them and find out what the problem was, but I had an emergency in my family and had to leave town. I was gone almost 2 months. When I got back I went to Lenscrafters to get some help. They told me the vision area was not wide enough and I needed a more expensive lens, but their guarantee was only 30 days. I told them about my situation and that I would pay for the new lens. Their price was over $1000.00! just for the lens. How could they sell me lens and frame for $700 and then $1000 for replacement lens? This is sheer greed they saw someone they could take advantage of and tried. I left.

I looked and looked and asked everyone I know. No one had a great recommendation. And then I found Beach Vision and Dr Kevin Brantley, and the entire experience was amazing. He agreed that my prescription was tricky but he promised to get it right. After the extensive eye exam, he had me talk to Brandy, who is one of the optician/techs who help select and measure the glasses prior to ordering. She was amazing! Thoughtful, and helped me pick out some frames and then matched the prescription. Amber at the front desk was great at triaging me through the process and her follow ups were excellent. Finally when I picked up the glasses, she had me sit with Chelsea, another of the optician/techs and she made a few adjustments for comfort and when I was finished, the glasses fit well, and my vision is back!! These glasses perform well and I love them. Thank you Dr Brantley, Brandy, Amber and Chelsea!!

When I went to question them the rude receptionist told me the doctor ordered them and she can do that. Then why wasnt I informed prior to doing it if it was something that didnt look right, needless to say there was nothing found and I was taken for an extra $50 without my consent and the receptiomist started yelling at me to leave the premises which I did. The prescription was wrong and I couldnt see well I called they never returned my call. Please dont go to these money hungry corrupt business they will take your money.

I've never encountered someone in a reception role who brought so much energy and genuine joy to their work. Her cheerful attitude and warm demeanor made a lasting impression--it's clear she truly enjoys what she does and cares about the people who walk through the door. As a patient, it was very refreshing to walk in to an office and be greeted with a smile instead of look of annoyance - like I had just interrupted their Facebook time.

She said that if I couldn't see, that the contact must have popped out and continued to spend the next 5-10 minutes completely dismissing my symptoms. She even said that the irritation and discomfort I was feeling was from probably just from rubbing my eye. Someone who has no credentials shouldn't be giving out medical advice at all, especially unsafe, incorrect medical information that could give someone else an eye infection.

She was very thorough and knowledgeable in the exam. I felt at home with her direct approach and manner. She confirmed what I had expected that my one eye was weaker but at the same time she knew that folks wearing contacts like to use the same contacts in each eye. She covered all the concern that one may have about eye conditions as we age. She is up to date on the contact marketplace and discussed my future buying opportunities.
