They were too busy chit chatting than worrying about their customer. Finally I was taken back to the relaxation room about 10 minutes before my massage. When I walked in I was shocked they had camper chair for us to sit in, in a so called "relaxation" room. I literally had to chug down my drink and sweet treats before my massage. Finally the massage. ABSOLUTE worst massage I've ever received. The lady spent more time putting the mint oil infront of my nose than actually massage my neck and shoulders, which was literally suffocating. I was also told that hot stone would be included. I had maybe 5 minutes of hot stone on my back and then another 5 minutes of her massaging my back. I'm carrying around a newborn and toddler all day so that was extremely upsetting. My husband booked this massage as a postpartum gift since I just went through an emergency c section and he just wanted me to have a day of relaxation. I left there extremely upset and frustrated instead of feeling good. I ended up leaving a review that night which I've never left a review in my life. And then they replied and was told in the reply if I was open to it they'd like to discuss this further. I called the spa 3 times and the first time I called I was told I would probably just get a refund and that I would be getting a call back. Every other time I called I was given the runaround and told I would be getting a call back. Finally this morning I called and spoke with the owner. The owner was not nice at all and told me because I left a review she will not be giving me any type of compensation. She literally said that because I left a review for the public to see she will not be helping me. While waiting, I also witnessed personal conversations and what appeared to be free services being provided to friends or family members. The staff member even felt the need to explain that the young girls going to the back were related to an employee and receiving underarm treatments. This was unnecessary and unprofessional to share with a client. When I was finally brought into her office, I explained that I was interested in lower leg treatment. She went over the process, and when she began showing pricing on the screen, I let her know I couldn't see it clearly due to recently needing glasses. I apologized and asked her to continue verbally. As she explained the pricing, I asked a few clarifying questions--such as the "up to 70% off" advertised on their website and why she kept repeating "minus $20" after each number. Instead of simply answering, she abruptly told me that she had "respected me and expected the same respect," implying that I had been disrespectful for asking questions or interjecting when I didn't understand something. This was shocking and completely inappropriate. I paused the conversation to clarify what she meant and asked directly if she felt I had disrespected her. She said yes, claiming I had "cut her off multiple times." At that point, it was clear the interaction had gone in a direction no professional consultation should ever go. I expressed that her behavior felt personal and biased, and her response was to mention that she has a mixed child--an irrelevant and dismissive comment often used to deflect accountability rather than address the issue. I left without completing the consultation. The entire experience was uncomfortable, unwelcoming, and handled with a lack of professionalism and emotional intelligence. I cannot recommend this location based on how I was treated, and I hope the company addresses the customer service issues occurring here.
