I also explained that my husband took time off (to watch the kids) so that I could make this appointment - no the salon's fault, but a lot went into this appointment just to be turned away. I left the salon and tears, although that was due to the disappointment, not the direct behavior of the staff once I had arrived. It has been three days since my appointment. I gave the salon a few days, in case they tried to reach out to me based on good customer service. I have also emailed them and sent them a Facebook message but I've gotten no response. I've had my lashes done at several salons over the past six years, and I am very familiar with typical customer service in this area. I am extremely disappointed in this salon. I came in with clear reference photos for a neutral, beige-bronde tone. During the consultation, I was told that would be "too dark" before a wedding and was pushed to go lighter. I trusted the stylist's expertise. Somehow, I left significantly darker than my inspo, with still strong red and gold tones, despite being told we were going ash and removing all warmth. It completely missed the mark. To be clear, this was not a communication issue. I completed her questionnaire, submitted photos in advance, and had a lengthy consultation. When I asked for a correction, I was told I'd need to pay for an entirely new appointment. Even though I had just spent over $600, I agreed due to desperation. But then was told there was no availability before my wedding, even though she is the owner. There was no attempt to accommodate, prioritize, or problem-solve. For the price point, the lack of accountability and urgency was extremely disappointing. The stylist repeatedly told me how much she liked it, rather than addressing that it did not match what I asked for and gaslit me throughout the process. The pricing also felt misleading. Miscellaneous additional charges were added throughout the appointment, despite the expensive base charge and time was spent upselling products and photographing my hair for her marketing (she asked me to do multiple poses) without regard for my time or that I was leaving her Salon dissatisfied. Thankfully, I found another stylist at a different salon who rearranged her schedule, after hearing my situation. After a brief consultation, she corrected the color within a couple hours and it was perfect. The new hairstylist questioned how the original result came to be. She even asked me if the former "hairstylist was having a bad day." She then reassured me that even if color didn't turn out how I wanted she would work all day to fix it if necessary because "that's what professionals do." Fortunately, this wasn't the case. The fix cost a fraction of the price and looked exactly like my inspiration. Overall, this experience felt more focused on upselling and Rhedonda squeezing every dollar out, rather than on client results or care. I would NOT recommend, especially for important events where timing and accuracy matter.

Sick of stray grays and crap coverage (I make a terrible hair colorist) - I reached out to Rhedonda to fix me. I provided inspiration pictures and she provided a Pinterest page with more realistically achievable color palettes for us to work my hair back to a caramelly blonde color. The following Friday I show up again to receive an oxygen facial (The Groupon was for an oxygen facial purchased at $39) Come to find out they were only willing to deduct the $39 from the entire price of the facial which was about $170. Instead, I looked at their "menu" located at the front reception desk that had all of their services and prices and decided to go with a Micro Derm that was priced at $39. The receptionist explained that it was not a big deal to make the change (meanwhile I will still waiting for Morgan to arrive). The actual micro derm was a pleasant experience, Morgan was up beat and positive and we got along great, which is why this review is somewhat hard to write. When I got to the check out, I was expecting to pay the price of the micro derm that was in the brochure and the price that was confirmed by the receptionist of $39, that matched my Groupon. Morgan swiftly came behind the counter and said, "My Micro-Derms are actually $80." I looked at the receptionist and said, "You told me $39 and it also says $39 right here." The reply from Morgan was "That's the starting price." And the receptionist had to go back and edit the price to fit Morgans $80. I did not receive any special treatment nor did I accept anything special during my procedure when offered. It was clear that she was indeed churning in order to make a quick buck. I decided to review simply because I was mislead and swindled... I was mainly more offended because Morgan did such a great job building re pour that I felt burned and like I just spent the last 30 minutes with a deceptive used car salesman. I didn't mind paying the extra $40, it wasn't about the money, it was about getting taken advantage of.
