My cousin and I stopped by this food cart after walking around the Astoria Sunday Market. It took 46 minutes to receive our orders after paying, and I'm pretty sure that's due to the staff being extremely stoned, but we forgave this as soon as we bit into our burgers. My cousin ordered the Oklahoma Double Smashburger, and I ordered the Bacon Black and Blue. I thought I had ordered a double, and she thought she had ordered a single, so we ended up moving one patty from her burger to mine. I was really, really hungry. I devoured my burger and fries. I was a little disappointed that fries were the only potential side (all burgers automatically come with fries), but, given how much trouble the staff had keeping orders straight, maybe they don't need to be adding menu items. The Oklahoma was the first decent Oklahoma smashburger I've found anywhere. Both of our burgers were true smashburgers, with caramelized patties. My cousin's had a lot of mustard and onions, while mine had bacon and blue cheese. I didn't love the amount of bacon and blue cheese. It's not my new favorite blue cheese burger of all time-- a spot still held by Gott's in California. But it was really, really good. Good enough to make us forget how annoyed we were at waiting 46 minutes for two burgers. The toppings were all fresh. The bacon and blue cheese were both top quality, although I wished there was a little more of each. The smashburger had really good flavor, but was on the lighter side as far as smashburger patties go. The cart was in a little food cart plaza with about ten carts surrounding a beer tap hall. The vibes were slightly more classy, beach like, and romantic as opposed to other food cart malls. Our burgers were about $18 each, which was definitely on the higher side, but that's what it's like ordering from a bougie food cart by the sea. We carried our burgers down to the alley with murals behind Pine Street Market for amazing photo ops on our way down to the ocean. read more

Messed up the order. No big deal. I'll give him a call back. Nobody answers the phones. Strange that no one answers the phones and sandwich place at lunch time. If you're so busy that you can't answer the phone you should have enough money to hire someone to answer the phone. Yes I am in the industry so don't tell me I've never done it before. Finally owner gets a hold of me when he sees my post on Facebook. Has it taken down by his administration friends. All they had to do was answer the phone and we could have dealt with this. Too bad. The food is usually pretty good. I just don't understand this trend of not answering your phone at a sandwich shop during lunch. read more

We had eye balled this before but it was busy as it's a brewery that shares outdoor seating with 4 foodcarts (including this one). We split but my husband got this as he loves smash burgers - especially with back and blue cheese. The French fries were fresh and tasty and they do pup Pattie's so our (2) dogs were able to share. Pricing was reasonable for the burger w/fries, pup patty and (1) Fanta. Super close to the farmers market and great outdoor seating. Just get there early. We I'll be back! read more

Located outside the mini mart I think it's in a prime location for people who have some waiting to do. He ordered the western burger and LOVED it!!! This was pretty great. We had sleepy kids and couldn't do the restaurant scene so food trucks worked out. Had the heater and tsunami which were great with garlic fries. Sadly I didn't know it can withstand fries so there were an insane amount of fries. I wish the brewery had been open but no luck at 3pm on a Thursday. read more

This place is underrated! Don't assume that because it's a food truck it might not be good. I got the tsunami bacon burger and it was incredible. I would 100% come back here and either get the same thing or be willing to try something else because I feel like everything on this menu is delicious! The service was very quick! It's a great burger. I could leave it at that and be wholly accurate, but they make a really good, all over your face, smash burger. You can rip it apart and eat the individual parts and be satisfied, you can shove a whole bite in and It's great or you can daintily cut it and eat it in a snooty manner like me.
