He was informative, friendly, caring, and a pleasure to have as the Dr. Quality: The office is beautiful. It is new, modern, clean, and provides privacy for each patient where you have your own room vs some places where there are only stations in a big room. Value: This is so subjective I cannot really say. In a perfect world insurance covers it all but we don't live in a perfect world. They do offer a new patient package for $55, I think for evaluation and other services. Seems like a good value. I did notice they have dental literature on a table outside along with kid toothbrush kits which is a nice gesture for the community. Overall; I'm really impressed by this office. I plan to switch to be my dentist of choice for all things dental related along with mentioning to my family what a great experience I had. Great job to the team here. I just found my new dental office.

TL:DR - Dr Mahran should be your new dentist!…read more I dislike going to the dentist about as much as anyone else does and was dreading having to find a new one after my last dentist (who I had been seeing for over a decade) suddenly stopped taking my insurance. I called Dr Mahran's office and was able to be seen super quickly. I went in for what I thought was going to be a routine new patient consultation but ended up feeling like I'd just stumbled across an absolute gem of a Dr. and her staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. Turns out I needed to have a crown replaced which they were able to schedule me for a week later. I also mentioned I was allergic to my previous dentist's numbing gel but couldn't remember what brand it specifically was. They went out of their way to give me several Q-Tip samples of the numbing gel they use so I could do a skin test at home to see if I'd react to it. I did end up being allergic to the gel and had to get the numbing shots for my crown replacement without it. Dr. Mahran and her staff did such an amazing job through the whole process and were constantly checking on me to make sure I was numbed enough and not in pain. They even gave me a couple stress balls to squeeze in case the shots hurt too much (they were a breeze). I just chilled and watched a nature documentary while they worked away (their patient chairs have TVs with Netflix on them!). I honestly couldn't be happier with my treatment and I know when I go back in a couple weeks, I'll have another great experience.

I had a dental implant completed here a couple of years ago. Within the first year, I began noticing the implant felt loose, an unsettling sensation that the crown could come off at any time. By that point, I had relocated to Las Vegas, and another dentist advised me to return to the original provider for assessment. I called Sendero, explained the situation, and was asked to come in, which meant traveling from Las Vegas. After the initial review, I was referred to a Newport location to see a specialist. The verdict: a cracked implant, less than a year after placement. I assumed Sendero would take responsibility for resolving this. They did not. On the same day as the assessment, I made the difficult decision to have the implant removed and start the entire process over. Not a small thing when it involves a front tooth. I was left with a visible gap while going through the procedure again, and the total cost to complete everything came to approximately $4,000 on top of what I had already paid. In total, one implant cost me around $8,000 - for something that failed within a year. When I attempted to address the situation with Sendero, I was told that because a different specialist had handled the removal and replacement, and that I had not given them the opportunity to correct it, they would not cover any of the costs. That claim is not accurate, I reached out to them first, followed their guidance, traveled at my own cost, and was never presented with a clear path to resolution on their end. I am not writing this out of anger, but because transparency matters. If you are considering a major procedure here, I would strongly encourage getting clarity upfront on what is covered should complications arise.

They even offered me a Bubly, not to be confused with Bublé, to wet my beak before surgery. Nothing like a little sparkling water to prepare you for battle. From there, I went in for my cleaning, which was genuinely one of the most comfortable dental experiences I have ever had. My dental hygienist was incredibly sweet and constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable and at ease. Not to mention, the equipment is top of the line. Dentistry has come a long way from what used to feel like someone going at your mouth with a spatula and a pickaxe. After the cleaning, it was time for surgery. I was greeted by another amazing hygienist who got me set up with nitrous oxide. She told me, "You will know it is working when you start feeling giggly." Joke is on her. Nothing is funny when you are already dead inside. But jokes aside, the nitrous made an enormous difference and had me completely relaxed going into what was some pretty serious dental work. At certain points, it sounded like an aircraft carrier was landing and a small country was being invaded inside my mouth, but somehow the entire procedure was painless and relatively comfortable. I had a work accident where I broke my front teeth and I got in with Dr. Larijani and he went right to work and made magic happen for temporary teeth so I didn't have to suffer and experience a day without great looking teeth. Following that great treatment and experience, I have gone through the entire process of veneers. Stage make a temporary set of teeth, which many people complimented me on! Stage 2 prepare teeth for veneers, and they were so accommodating and thoughtful of me as the patient during this process. Stage 3 veneers, which they were always so eager to listen and make the necessary adjustments during this process. The veneers look so naturally awesome which is all I cared about.
