    Our finished shower conversion!!

David is a honest guy who works hard. He quoted 6 days to do a tub conversion , and they were finished in 7, because I had to pick up some parts. The workers were very clean, did their work very professionally and always communicated with us on each step. After our initial contact, I didn't even get another quote..was I going to get a cheaper price, maybe? But there is always a cost with going with the low bid..."I am a poor man and cannot afford a cheap tool" has always been my motto.. deal with people who have integrity and the crew from coastline were that and more. I can highly recommend Coastline Tile&Shower. Here is a photo of the completed work. Thank you to the entire team...

So happy with the new shower pan!!!

Found them on Yelp and reached out to have them redo a poorly done and leaking shower. For a very reasonable price they broke out the old shower pan, showed me what had been done wrong, put in a new drain, added a ledge, redid the shower pan, retiled a small part of the wall, and put back our shower door. They kept me informed all along the way and did an excellent job. They were receptive to my requests. Every person was very polite, from the contact person, tile person and show door guy. I am SO HAPPY with the job they did. And they did it quickly too! Highly recommended!

We remodeled our master bathroom shower last year, and unfortunately the contractor did not do it correctly hence the shower pan began leaking a few weeks ago. We searched Yelp for a new contractor and we found Coastline. Coastline responded with a quote right away but was not able to do the work for another few weeks due to their busy schedule. We were ok with that because their pricing was reasonable, their work looked amazing and thankfully, we had another shower in the house that we could use in the meanwhile. When the project began, it was done in several phases. 1) Demo - Brandon completed the demo and added the base boards (I hope I am using the correct terminology. LOL) 2) Tile Work - John and his female associate completed the tile work. 3) Shower Head - Brandon came back to install our shower head. (Luckily we were able to use our existing one). 4) Shower Door - Eber installed our shower door. (Luckily we were able to use our existing one). All 3rd party associates were friendly, respectful, punctual and did amazing work. They made sure to cover the flooring leading to our bedroom/bathroom and did not leave a mess at the end of their work days. The only con was that the timeline was extended a little but were given a discount due to this. I would definitely recommend Coastline to anyone.

It was time for an entire shower and bath replacement. Coastline came out and helped us layout and focus on a design that would would update our home. We were so pleased when David assisted us with the layout, and met with us several times at tile and stone warehouses and helped us in stone selection, and quarts selection and colors. We were so delighted to understand how the shower pan would be installed and how the walls would be reinforced properly to never allow leakage or water intrusion into the walls. After demo began, we could clearly see how shoddy the previous bathroom had been constructed. David and his team really did first class workmanship quality work. We could not be happier !!! The final product looks amazing !

I had a leaking shower pan. Coastline shower was very responsive to my need for a quick repair. Many other companies I had called never called me back. These guys gave me upfront pricing which was wonderful and the best I had received. They provided a price to just repair shower pan or do a complete shower demolition and re tile. Brandon did my demolition and was very clean, he had to also tear out rotted wood and rebuild the supporting structure with new wood. Dave came to complete the job and layed tile in a very precise manner. Coastline shower does what they say and says what they do. One of the best businesses in SoCal. Honest. Fair. Competitive pricing.

We needed to repair a leaking shower pan in our Master Bathroom, so I called Coastline Tile for a quote. Matt quoted me for a repair, and for the whole bathroom. The price was very competitive compared to others I had gotten! So, we had our Master Bath shower, bath and floors done with Coastline. We could not be happier! Matt and the team were friendly and cooperative with us, and the work speaks for itself! I love my new bathroom!!! Thanks so much! We recommend Coastline Tile & Shower for your project!

We just bought our flipped house, and in the home inspection they found the *brand new shower* was leaking from the pan. Our agents contacted David at Coastline and got us a fast, affordable quote for a pan replacement. Coastline came out quickly after closing on the house and opened up the bottom of the shower to inspect the pan for a replacement. The shower was barely waterproofed, and David's rough quote for a full replacement was reasonable. We bit the bullet and Coastline built us a fabulous, correctly installed shower. All the contractors were friendly, professional, clean and timely. We decided on a glass door as well from Coastline, which took less time than anticipated. The final product looks like the shower we wanted to buy from the start, and David made the process fast and painless. The 1 year warranty is comforting as well if any issues pop up. We would use Coastline again for another bathroom remodel or repair.

    Great work!!

Ask the Community - Coastline Tile & Shower

When I went to this address I only saw Direct Shower Door. Is Coastline Shower and Tile the same business?

Hello! Yes it is the same owners for both companies. Direct Shower Door has a showroom inside the building and sells products. Coastline Tile does not have a showroom inside as we are only contractors and do not sell tile or physical products.

His experience, knowledge, personable demeanor, and transparency made what could have been a very stressful process easy and fluid. He is an excellent communicator and provided ample guidance and flexibility with the design process. His staff was punctual, efficient, and cleaned up at the end of every day. We really appreciated David who installed our tile with precision, care, and artistry. We are extremely happy with the outcome of our bathroom and look forward to working with Brandon again. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality remodel at an upfront and reasonable cost.

David and Juan do amazing work. They showed up on time everyday and cleaned up at the end of each day. The shower door installers and countertop fabricator do great work as well. When giving us the quote Brandon answered ALL of our questions and listened to what we wanted without trying to add any "extras". He did not make us feel like our project was too small. He kept in constant communication with us during the entire process of picking out tile, fixtures, cabinets, countertop, and during reno. He is knowledgeable and fair in his pricing. We will be hiring him to do our other bathroom in the future! The pictures do not do it justice! We love our new bathroom!

If you've stumbled onto reviews for Hostetler Construction Inc because you are looking for a…read morecontractor, stop, read, and do your self a favor and meet with the owner, Bryan.. I guarantee you have finished your search for a contractor if your project is in his scope of work. Working with Hostetler Constriction Inc. was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Please allow me to explain. Planning to build an ADU is no small feat. We interviewed six contractors prior to making our decision. Bryan, the owner of Hostetler Construction Inc came to do the original bid. Let me preface this with some context. We were building this ADU for my aging mother. So when one contractor (NOT Hostetler) says are you ok with cutting corners (to reduce pricing), my thought was, no sir I have no idea what that even entails, so no that is not OK. Auto redflags! Hostetler Construction Inc was not the most expensive and to be honest not the cheapest option. So why did we go with Hostetler Constriction Inc? To be completely upfront, something in my gut said this is the one. I know that's crazy, but I'm serious. The owner, Bryan's approach, didn't feel rehearsed, it was simple and to the point, realistically presented, the calm nature in his presentation was reassuring. He wasn't trying to sell me anything, he was simply bidding the job we presented. From the time we finished the bid meeting with Bryan, we knew he was the one. Now, could we have been wrong, certainly, but luckily we weren't. From the time we broke ground to completion, this company, the owner Bryan, the foreman Parker and, all of his teams were literally my rock, sounding board, you name it, they were on it. I try to be practical, especially in what many of us stepping into a relm we have never experienced, feel as crucial moments in our lives. Building an ADU, the steps that entails and the costs associated with such a venture, this is intimidating. Hostetler made this process as user friendly as a guide for Microsoft windows for dummies manual. Were there issue that popped up along the way, well yeah, because we built a house. It's to be expected. Did they minimize any impact to us, yes, exponentially. Regardless if issues that required our interaction or were simple fixes, they owned the process. From foundation pour to framing, plumbing, electrical etc. each team was meticulous in their process. I was fortunate enough to be there physically step by step. I can not articulate high enough praise for what this company accomplished. If you are lucky enough to hire Hostetler Construction Inc for your project, I promise you will not be disappointed with the ending results. Good luck to you on your future endeavors!

Very grateful for the opportunity to have met Bryan Hostetler owner of Hostetler Construction…read more Me and my wife Autumn wanted to build an ADU in our backyard here in the city of Glendora. I reached out to six or seven different contractors, who do this type of work. NOTE: I am a very detailed contractor myself, so there was a lot of boxes that needed to be checked off in the interviewing process for the choice to be clear. We knew this was going to be an expensive project, making the right choice was very important. Bryan and his company was the clear choice for us, and I was confident we would all work well together. On Bryan's very first appointment, he came with the architect, designer Surge Mayer to navigate us right out the gate exactly what was and what wasn't possible. Surge and his team were on top of things, getting right to work. After a few months, going back-and-forth of what I was allowed to build per the setback, lot coverage, and easements? We picked a design that worked for our property and our needs. The city of Glendora took about seven months to get everything 100% approved. Surge and Bryan were on top of things checking in with the city and making any needed adjustments to keep the permitting process moving along. Through great communication once a permit was 100% approved. Bryan broke ground relatively quick. For about two months every single week there were workers scheduled at our house every day Monday through Friday and sometimes on Saturday. Bryan or his on-site Project Manager kept us informed every step of the way of what was gonna take place and if there were any changes that need to be made. They were very few change orders per the size of this job, most of them Brian let us know in advance that these may take place. So we were not surprised. The entire ADU took about 3 to 4 months from breaking ground to having the entire thing complete. like clockwork, the cruise were here on time and we're very consistent in their workflow, when necessary, Bryan would meet me early in the morning to go over any details with his Project Manager's or trade, Specialist. Of course, in construction, you're going to have little things pop up here and there, but their communication for any of that was definitely on point. Communication was one of the more important things I was looking for. Bryan is teamed up with years of relationships with very experienced concrete foundation teams, plumbers, roofers, drywaller's, custom cabinet guys, electricians, HVAC. Of course, I've got to mention the guys that stood out the most to me: (Demo) George & Nick (Framing) Jose & his son (Tile) Moises (Tile Floor) Jesse & Pablo (Drywall) Mike (Cabinets) Doug (Finish) Paco, Josiah (Trash PU) Nick. Trust me there was plenty more gentlemen than just a few I named that all did an amazing job. They showed up on time, they cleaned up after themselves, and they were very respectful to our property and our neighbors. Brian has a very well oiled machine and a really good team that goes above and beyond day and day out. Project: 872 ft.² ADU two bedroom two bath, master bedroom, big enough for a king bed, walk-in closet with custom shelving , built in custom desk with cabinets above, , pantry, with all appliances, would look tile flooring throughout, three mini split AC systems, bathtub, and guest bathroom, walk-in shower, and master. Custom shower doors, stackable, washer, and dryer with cabinets up above. Three ceiling fans, plenty of LED lights, plenty of lighting in both bathrooms, two spotlights on the side of the house with a three-way switch from the front and back door. Stubbed out plumbing for future water softener. Three external hose bibs for water, plenty of outlet outlets on the outside. Matching our current home perfectly. Bryan, Thank you very much for taking on our project, thank you very much for your passion, attention to detail, communication, and work side-by-side with me and my wife to achieve something very beautiful on our property. For sure it was a positive experience. To anyone out there, looking for a reliable, honest, experienced Contractor will navigate you every step of the way with great communication? Hostetler Construction is a great choice, hands-down, one of the best experiences I've had hiring professionals. Thank you kindly for allowing me to share my experience Positively Mike S
