We remodeled our master bathroom shower last year, and unfortunately the contractor did not do it correctly hence the shower pan began leaking a few weeks ago. We searched Yelp for a new contractor and we found Coastline. Coastline responded with a quote right away but was not able to do the work for another few weeks due to their busy schedule. We were ok with that because their pricing was reasonable, their work looked amazing and thankfully, we had another shower in the house that we could use in the meanwhile. When the project began, it was done in several phases. 1) Demo - Brandon completed the demo and added the base boards (I hope I am using the correct terminology. LOL) 2) Tile Work - John and his female associate completed the tile work. 3) Shower Head - Brandon came back to install our shower head. (Luckily we were able to use our existing one). 4) Shower Door - Eber installed our shower door. (Luckily we were able to use our existing one). All 3rd party associates were friendly, respectful, punctual and did amazing work. They made sure to cover the flooring leading to our bedroom/bathroom and did not leave a mess at the end of their work days. We were so pleased when David assisted us with the layout, and met with us several times at tile and stone warehouses and helped us in stone selection, and quarts selection and colors. I had a leak in a shower in an upstairs bathroom and after reading all of the positive reviews I decided to have Coastline come out and give me a quote and I'm so glad I did. We had two other companies come in and give us their opinions on what to do but Coastline had the best plan. We needed to replace a number of tiles in the shower after the work was done on the shower pan and since the tile was over 20 years old we were not able to match it. No worries though because the Coastline employee did such a great job in getting a close match and he only replaced what he had to. They were also able to save the shower door which was a tremendous savings. You never know what to expect when you get a company from Yelp recommendations but I have to say Coastline exceeded my expectations. They were cost competitive, very professional throughout the whole process, and finished the work in a timely manner. I live in Long Beach, and if you've read any of my other reviews you know that I am uncompromising in how I express my evaluation of a place or service. No holds barred. We needed to schedule our guest bath/shower remodel a few months in advance and the Coastline team were responsive, professional, upfront and transparent in their pricing. After taking a couple of pictures and measurements, they were able to provide a detailed quote that was also very reasonable. When the job started, they said they could do a couple of built in alcoves for shampoo bottles etc. (unplanned), and this add-on was also very reasonably priced and significantly improved the overall look of our enclosed bath/shower. I was doing a complete remodel of my 15th floor condo. Being concerned about water issues I wanted the shower done by a professional, not a local plumber. David was a very friendly and professional individual who I trusted from our first conversation. The job ended up taking two months, the "plumber" he outsourced the plumbing portion of the job was legal but not a licensed plumber, a licensed tile setter instead. I had to have a second plumber come in a finish the job. The drain surround showed rust from the first week forward. The tile slants out allowing for water to run to the bathroom floor and the grout has cracks after only six months.
