If something can reasonably be fixed, they'll make the effort to fix it rather than automatically making it into a bigger repair. At the same time, they're very upfront about the reality of the damage, what can and can't be done. Pricing was fair, communication was excellent, and a special mention to Clara at the front desk. The job involved replacing the fender, side mirror, and polishing the driver's side window. I was initially told it would take about a week. After 7-8 days, I called and was told it would be another day, which was fine. I picked up the truck after getting the call that it was ready, but I was in a rush and it was parked in the shade, so I didn't catch everything right away. Almost immediately after leaving, I noticed the window hadn't been polished as discussed, and the replacement side mirror was loose and bounced while driving--unlike the original OEM mirror. The next day, more issues became obvious. The headlight didn't fit properly against the new fender (there was a large gap), and the "Tacoma" badge was missing. I contacted them, and to their credit, they agreed to fix the issues. However, that meant another appointment, several more days without my truck, and another rental. When I got it back again, it looked better--but this is work that should have been done correctly the first time. Afterward, I noticed the paint blending was poorly done and doesn't match well at all in sunlight. At that point, I chose not to go back again, but it pisses me off every time I see it. To top it off, when I later replaced my headlights, I discovered a mounting screw was never reinstalled on the driver's side. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience with multiple oversights, extra time and inconvenience, and workmanship that didn't meet expectations. I can't recommend this shop. Today I bought packing supplies from another 'real' U-Haul retailer only to find that the materials I had bought from the store I was referred to by the U-Haul store had been marked up over 100% above the U-Haul prices. This feels like a bait and switch to me. 1). The U-Haul store advertised that they sell moving supplies 2). They refer me to another place that charges twice as much.
