Our company recently held its 40th anniversary party inside the Imperial Ballroom and adjacent pre-function space inside Atlanta's historic Biltmore Hotel in Midtown. The ballroom was beautiful and elegant, and we had a great time. The Imperial Ballroom used to be the hotel's dining room in the 1920s (the hotel opened in 1924). It "features ornate blue and ivory hand-plastered ceilings, 10 columns, and a unique recessed wood floor." It looks really nice. I forget our event's guest count, but I think it was upwards of 150, 170. There was live music, both in the pre-function space during cocktail hour and on stage in the ballroom during dinner and dancing. There was also a two-sided bar. We had a seated dinner with the following: * First Course: Caesar Salad with garlic focaccia croutons, shaved Parmesan, and Caesar dressing * Main Course: Filet of Beef over herbed risotto with a peppercorn jus and Chicken Pancetta over sauteed greens with a lemon beurre blanc We also had cake. All of the food and drink were good. To drink, I had a couple of extra-dirty martinis (delicious) and also a bit of wine, with dinner. Service was fine. The bartender who made my martinis did an excellent job. The Biltmore Ballrooms is called "Ballrooms" (plural) because there are two ballrooms: the Imperial Ballroom and the Georgian Ballroom. The Ballrooms are conveniently located to many places in Midtown. We ended up walking one block north to the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel for after-party drinks. The Renaissance was the "official" hotel for our group. For parking, there's a garage on-site (next to Cypress Street Pint & Plate). We Ubered. read more

I attended an event at the Biltmore Ballrooms. I was in awe at the detail of the ceilings and decor. The staff was extremely nice and professional. The bartenders were nice. The food was good as far as quick bites go. It is a great place to have any type of corporate event, reception, or banquet. read more

Lovely reception ballroom. Elegant and classy. We enjoyed the speed at which food was served and expertise of the bartenders. One security guard with dreads and a water bottle clipped to his belt was a bit of a drag, he didn't want us putting our feet on the coffee tables in the lobby. I had the opportunity to attend a Remy Martin Tasting here and I was very pleased with this establishment. By the end of the tasting the tasting presentation ended in the ballroom. Oh my was I wooo. The ballroom ceilings were so beautifully crafted that I wanted to take pictures, I thought I was in an ancient tim eof rome or something. Sadly I could not because, no picture taken was allowed. Not much to write about the Biltmore as I was there for a retirement party of the chair for our school at GT. Since I'd been before I didn't expect much, HOWEVER, it was and still is an amazing hotel. The wait staff was pleasant and quick to pick up plates. Should I ever need to plan an event, I wouldn't shy away from using the Biltmore. Great team and food. read more

Stopped by the ballroom for a fashion show. The room is beautiful! The ornate ceilings, the chandeliers, the floors. Gorgeous! Definitely a beautiful venue to consider for any future events. They set up a bar outside the ballroom because of the particular setup which was annoying to go in and out but I imagine for other setups it's inside. read more

On October 1, 2017 I held my Italian themed wedding reception at the Biltmore Ballrooms. My vision was to transform the room into Italy. What. A. Crap. Hole. I was a bridal party member in a wedding and I was horrified by this venue. First of all the "day of coordinators" were useless. The coordinator actually interrupted the Bride during her father's speech. All the photos of her dads speech have the wedding coordinator at the head table bothering the bride. The bathrooms were DISGUSTING I found cockroaches in the bathroom stall when I went to use it. Everything was handled unprofessionally and any future brides considering this place...don't do it! Save yourself the drama and time. read more

It's always a shame when a great venue falls into the hands of bad management. Novarre Events were hard to work with from the start, but we thought that might ease over time. No, from first email to last, they treat their clients like strangers meeting for the first time. 1) Abysmal selection of approved vendors, all with super high markups, in case you thought you'd get a deal. 2) Very high outside vendor fees, in case you do want quality catering, etc. 3) Very, very few services. If there's a polar opposite of "all-inclusive", this is it. So barebones, I'm surprised they don't have a service charge for flushing the toilet. 3) Really annoying payment practices. Case in point, a few days before the wedding, with the bulk of the expenses already paid for, they made me cancel a cashier's check that was already in the mail, asking I wire transfer the money instead, lest the payment be even a day late. Easily our worst wedding vendor. We know it's a nice venue, but we now also know that a lot of headache and cost could have been saved by looking for a nicer one. read more

Gorgeous! Magnificent! Romantic! Splendid! Tasteful! The Biltmore Ballrooms are the perfect place to host any momentous occasion. The Biltmore Hotel is an elite and elegant architecturally interesting building in midtown reminiscent of 1920s high society. It was recently renovated and the beautifully handcrafted ceilings restored (definitely the best part of the rooms). I attended one of my friend's weddings and receptions here last month. It was a beautiful Sunday wedding and gardens were in bloom. The evening started with punch being served in the simple, but elegant entrance hall. The Georgian Ballroom was arranged for the service which then took place. Afterwards the wedding party went to the gardens in the front of the hotel to have pictures taken while the guests enjoyed gourmet Hors d'oeuvres again in the entrance hall while the Georgian Ballroom was transformed into a reception room with round banquet tables and a dance floor. The event went smoothly and the caterers and staff were professional and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress free southern wedding with class and elegance. read more

I was at the Biltmore Ballrooms for a wedding, and the venue was gorgeous. The foyer was spacious enough for cocktail hour, and I didn't feel cramped at all. The actual ballroom looked amazing. It was adorned with beautiful architecture along the ceiling and walls. There were also really nice chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Huge columns were prevalent throughout the space. It was a really venue inside and out, great for pictures. The hotel staff, bartenders, servers, and chef were all fantastic, some the best service I've seen at wedding. The food was also really good. We had a southern inspired buffet, and for hotel food, it was exceptional. Chicken and waffles, skewered shrimp, super tender beef brisket, and mac and cheese were my favorites. Overall, this was one of the best weddings I've been to as far as the venue, food, and service. read more

I've been to the Biltmore Ballrooms twice now, both times for the Shecky's Girls' Night Out event. It is definitely a gorgeous venue and perfect for hosting the indoor shopping event! As soon as you walk into the main lobby, you will notice that there is one ballroom to your left and one to your right. The restrooms, which are available on both sides, are kept very clean - which is what you would expect from a beautiful venue like this one. Both ballrooms, the Georgian Ballroom and the Imperial Ballroom, exude a luxurious, classic ambiance, especially with the crystal chandeliers that light up each room. I think it's such a treat that the Shecky's Girls' Night Out events are hosted here. What I did not like about the Biltmore Ballrooms were the bartenders during the Girls' Night Out event. They seemed as if they did not want to be there and were not friendly at all. Overall, the Biltmore Ballrooms get 4.5 stars for being such a beautiful venue. However, I had to subtract 1/2 a star for the bartenders' not-so-friendly service, and the fact that you have to pay $7 to park in the garage next door. I guess the paid parking thing is to be expected in the Atlanta area, but I can't help hating it. I'm sure I will be back here to attend Shecky's Girls' Night Out again this winter. Beautiful and perfect setup for a wedding! I just attended a friend's wedding here this weekend (Sunday). One ballroom was for the ceremony and the other was for the AMAZING dinner reception. Beautiful and spacious! I don't know anything about the pricing, but from what I was told, it was fairly reasonable. read more

I've attended tons of weddings, but one of the most memorable was a friends wedding at The Biltmore. They had the wedding and reception in the same hall. While they were switching the decor in between, guest enjoyed appetizers and drinks in the lounge area. The venue is gorgeous, something out of a bridal magazine or a chickflick. Just attended a wedding here last night. It's a very pretty venue, great if you are going for a traditional feel. The acoustics aren't great - echoing conversation from the back of the room totally drowned out the toasts during dinner. But, other than that it's a nice venue. So why the two stars? Because of the PARKING NIGHTMARE from this morning. When I pulled in last night, I was swiped into the deck by an event attendant - did not receive a ticket or anything like that. Like responsible adults, we left our car overnight and cabbed home since we had been drinking during the reception. I go to get the car today, and it was unclear how to exit. There was a machine that takes the tickets that had a piece of printer paper taped to it that said "$5 Cash Only." After trying to call the help button and getting no answer (because I thought it was ridiculous that we would have to pay for parking for a wedding), I gave up and fed $5 into the machine.... and then nothing happened. Arm did not go up. I drove through the deck looking for an alternative exit, got back to the regular exit and an attendant had finally shown up. I told him what happened and he said "well I didn't see you do that." My husband points out that there are security cameras and so, instead of taking our word for it, he makes us go inside so he can LOOK THROUGH THE SECURITY FOOTAGE to make sure we actually did pay $5. We finally were able to get the car out - no apology, no admission that he was wrong. Based on this experience alone, I wouldn't recommend this venue. If this is the type of individual they employ, and this is how they treat their guests, I can't imagine how they act under more stressful situations. read more

Carrie and the Biltmore were great to work with! Throughout the whole process it was easy to get in contact with Carrie and I was always able to turn to her for help!
