I brought my pants in with very specific instructions on what I wanted done. They did not follow my instructions but decided to do what they wanted to do. Their reason was that my idea was not as good as theirs. I tried my pants with their alterations and it was not workable. I brought it back amd very explicitly stated that I wanted it done my way or not at all and I would assume all risk. I went back to pick them up and they DID NOT follow my instructions and altered their original alteration and my pants looked awful. I don't have the time to continue to renegotiate my request for a a service provider. It was overall a horrible experience with an unacceptable outcome and lousy results. The store owner very competently repaired the zipper while I waited. I wanted to pay him, but he wouldn't accept payment for the work he had done. Dropped off a pair of Timberland hiking boots to have the soles replaced. Owner said that would be expensive, but he could replace just the worn heels for $30/pair. Took a bit longer than a week, but the work was excellent. Looked like the heels/soles were new! Saved a pair of boots from the garbage pile, and have my comfy boots back. I see many good reviews and a couple of reviews in the same vein as our experience. My wife, who is Korean, has 2 pairs of boots. On one she just wanted a "no slip" feature on the sole. The other, a repair to the heel. My wife went in and I sat in the car. After 1-2 minutes I could see the cobbler getting very animated with his gestures and it looked odd to me. I went in and the cobbler looked at me and then at my wife and kept saying "But you insulted me". He wanted me to hear this so he could justify his obnoxious and loud tone to my wife. My wife said "the only thing I said was it cost more to repair than the shoes cost". He wanted to charge $85 for the repair. The cobbler was still loud and repetitive with "But you insulted me" crap. Maybe he doesn't care for Asians or maybe he thinks it's ok to treat people like that. Either way we'll find someone else to take our business to. read more

Another job well done. My Birkenstock sandals' soles were separating from the cork, and thus the leather straps came off too. Got the soles replaced and everything glued back together. $45 to save a $100+ pair of sandals that were already broken in and comfy. Great workmanship and service. read more

This is the first time I have taken my shoes to be repaired/re-soled but I was pleased with how they came out. I brought in 4 pairs of shoes where the heels were damaged and they not only put in new soles, but touched up the paint where there were scuffs/gouges. They really do look like brand new shoes! And the price was reasonable, around $17 each. The associate explained that they put in better soles than most shoes come with so the soles will last a very, very long time. The shoes were ready in about a week and I received an email alert letting me know. When I was picking up, a gentleman had brought in a trunk and was ordering custom leather straps for it. It's good to know they offer this service should anyone need it! Who knows what else they can do! read more

Best shoe cleaner I've been to yet. I had a few pairs of leather/suede boots that were in serious need of some TLC to bring them back to life after a few neglectful winters. It was around $16 for a cleanup per pair and he also re-soled a pair of my boots - 3 pairs of boots and a pair of heels looking brand new for $64 is 100% worth it. I had a few leather shoes that were in need of repair. One was scratched up and pitted on the back of the heel and my pumps had a heel tip broken off so I was basically walking on a nail head. The repair was done very well on both shoes - both heels tips on my pumps were replaced to ensure they match. Also, he definitely under promised and over delivered on the scratched up heel. He warned me that he might not be able to hide all the damage, but it came out looking almost as good as new! Prices are very reasonable, and they even took off a couple $ when I brought in multiple items to be worked on. Very nice people that do quality work. On a side note, the store can be a little hard to spot from the street, and I've driven past it before - so look for the blue house with the wheelchair ramp across from Gro-Moore farms. read more

One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had! This family really understands their crowd and are there to help with unconditional attention and honesty. I recently bought gently used Uggs for $20 so I didn't have to use my expensive ones. Still, with the intent of only using these guys for cleaning snow off my car and running errands...you know...they are Uggs...used Uggs. Unsure in what 'manner' they might've been worn, I wanted to get them to a thorough cleaner ASAP. One week later, they were ready to get picked up in spiffy clean condition with a side of extra fluffy fur! They also put a protective coating on the boots, but advise that it will not last through the winter. So you will not be 'over spraying' and can even do so right away. I've had both shoes and luggage repaired here with good results and it's certainly smart to put new heels on GOOD quality shoes vs. buying a new pair. And I've always had polite service here at a fair price. Even though we dropped everything off at their shop after 1 PM, they were able to finish both projects for us by closing time. Our experience with Cobbler's Corner went like this: My girlfriend bought a pair of tall leather boots that were too large for her legs with the intent to get them altered to fit better in the calf. We picked Cobbler's Corner to make the alteration because they appeared to be the best in the area. On our first visit the gentleman took a single measurement at the top of the boot and told us that the job would take ten days. More than ten days passed and we were never called, so I called them. They told me that her boots were the next pair that were in line to be altered, and it would be a couple more days until they were ready. Again, we waited several days, and Cobbler's Corner didn't call us. She called them this time, and the boots still hadn't been completed. She was told that they were very busy, and it would be a couple more days. A couple more days passed, and this time Cobbler's Corner called us to say that the boots were ready to be picked up. When we went to pick up the boots, the top of the boots fit very well, however, there was an unattractive bulge in the lower calf of the boot. The gentleman that was managing the store that day (the owner's son?) was very polite and very courteous. He told us that if we weren't satisfied with the boots that they should re-measure and fix the mistake. He apologized and asked us to return the next day when his father would be there to re-measure so they could correct the mistake. While already frustrated, we agreed. The next day, my girlfriend returned to the store to get measured again. This time the owner instead convinced her that it was the best that they could do and that she was already getting a deal for the price of the alteration. Instead of trying to make it right, he denied that the boots looked wrong. Rather than arguing with him, she paid the full price for the alteration and left. We won't be returning to this cobbler. read more

My stupid cat scratched up my girlfriend's expensive Fossil purse when she came over. Called up Cobbler's Corner, not really hoping for the best but decided to give them a shot. The purse is even better than new now, you can't tell it was ever scratched and they even got rid of some other stains that were on it.
