Beware of dubious and most likely fictitious up-sells! Visited for a what I thought was a routine oil change. Left with what appears to be the wrong oil type (5W-30 instead of 5W-20). Adding insult to injury, an oil lube specialist accosted me with crass sales rhetoric claiming my coolant was a "burnt black color," and offered a special $89.99 discount price for a coolant flush. An inspection of the coolant at home told a different story--a healthy green! Bottom line, don't waste your time or money here! read more

I splurged and got the "platinum" car wash. They did not even wipe the steering wheel! They never lifted the back hatch to wipe. The chairs that were put up for vacuuming, we're never put back to vacuum so when I put them back there was much debris. I found a straw wrapper even. So many surfaces were not even wiped down. My windows are even blurry. They did not put the air freshener in that they were supposed to. My car sat there with no one giving it any attention for many minutes before they finally called me over to pick it up. I assumed they were going to work more on it, but they didn't. I just wanted to cry. But none of them are wearing masks. Not one employee. Only the cashier was wearing gloves. I'm done with Cobblestone. It's so convenient, I wish they cared more. read more

Missed half the dash board, half of the windows, and missed some water spots on my windshield. Right in my vision. For what you charge, my car should be perfect. Yessss!!! My car was FILTHY... and one pass thru the carwash took off ALL the bugs. Do you know what this means? I had the freaking BUG-POCALYPSE on my windshield and front bumper and now you'd never even know! People working here are just the coolest, and although there are alot of carwash options nearby, I'm always going here. My grandpa and I only take our vehicles here for car washes. The last couple times they haven't cleaned my car like they normally do. Yesterday I specifically asked that they made sure to get all the dog hair when they vacuumed. As I'm waiting for my car I can hear my car alarm going off, so I walk up to my car and they had sure enough locked my keys inside my car while cleaning it. Thankfully they got it opened with some tool and now my window rolls up slower than normal. I look to make sure my car is cleaned as excepted and they did half the job they usually do. There was still dog hair that wasn't missed from not being able to see it, it was simply missed from pure carelessness and laziness. I won't waste money on this car spa again. read more

whoever did the detail work on my 2018 Nissan Murano on 4-30-20 did a fantastic job especially removing the stain from the headliner that I made worse. Ceramic wax feels incredibly smooth and makes a beautiful car even more so. And since it's my wife's car-Happy wife happy life! read more

Came in for a oil change and car wash and dealt with Chris and another guy which was also very helpful but I cannot remember his name (I apologize). Both catered to my vehicles needs and recommended the best value for my car which actually saved me a few dollars. Do not under any circumstance get a ceramic coating here. You will pay 500 dollars to have them scratch your car. They claim that there ceramic coating includes heavy contamination removal polishing and coating. This is a lie. They took my excellent condition 2016 mustang gt with 10000 miles on it and put thousands of micro scratches into the paint before finishing it all off by sealing them under the coating. They either skipped the decontamination process or did a very poor job. Before ever polishing a car the paint must be completely decontaminated to prevent contaminates from being swirled into the paint and causing those fine spider web like scratches in the paint. I brought it to there attention and they said they would make it right so i gave them the benefit of the doubt and dropped the car off after getting it back same thing didn't look any better they said they striped the coating and redid the whole process but for all i know they could have just sprayed detailer spray on it because the paint looks just as bad as the first time i picked it up. Its going to cost 1000 bucks to get this mess sorted out as the car needs a three stage paint correction now. I visited a few professional detail shops and what they told me is that these guys messed it up by not properly cleaning the car before polishing. What a shame and a waste of money and all i hear is crickets from the employees and management. They also do not respond to the wecare@cobblestone.com email adress so don't give me the we care garbage I also left my phone number with you guys and no call. Thinking of filing a small claims and a charge back. I didn't pay 500 bucks to have you scratch my car. read more

Paid for a detail interior/exterior and a oil change. they did not buff the paint or remove over spray as agreed upon they put to scratches to the metal in my drivers door destroyed my matts ripped all the threading apart and they were like new still dirt and wax all over the truck they must have used the tire shine rag on my dash and interior because it was really shiny but turned your hands black when you touched anything inside the truck Oil change no idea if they really did it. they didn't bolt the skid plate on so when I was driving down the road it was dragging on the ground. This location used to be my preferred place to get my car cleaned. Not anymore. For $23.99, At a minimum, I expect that the basics of vacuuming, wiping down the interior, etc ., will be done. I had to send my car back as they had loosened and vacuumed my rubber mats, but nothing else. When it came back, they had only lightly gone over the driver's side. I usually always have a coupon and the nice guy writing my car up said if I couldn't find my coupon there was one on the web site but when I went to pay Ray was of no help he simply said sorry there are no coupons out at this time. Okay, when you know people have newer cars, why do you not educate them on using your automated carwash? Also, why are you not commenting on the cleanliness of my car or my missing console piece? I've done some research & your carwash isn't designed for newer vehicles. The cars shut off at times if left in neutral & I couldn't get my car to go. Your guy was running between unmanned vehicles, trying to get them out of line. All he kept saying was move & i couldnt. Then I tried to cancel my account & your in person Rep said I had to go online. I went online & there is nowhere to manage my account unless I'm a rewards member. You are an assembly line designed to make money. Safety isn't a word I'd use to describe one car after another, an inch apart in an old system car wash with no drivers. Terrible customer service. Stay away. I have been to Cobblestone several times without any issues and for the most part thought the overall experience was pretty good. The last time I went to get my car washed I was handed back a broken key by the facility manager and told that at this time they were denying responsibility. He claimed they did nothing more then try to start the car and the key broke off. I find it a lot more likely that the wheal was locked, the key was not pushed all the way in the ignition or the service man hit the key while vacuuming or moving around in the car. Regardless of how it happened I would expect a company to take responsibility for something they broke and have it fixed or replaced. He then informed me to take the matter up with the corporate office and gave me the name and number of the general manager and that he will call me the following day. Well the following day came and went without a phone call. I tried calling him and leaving him messages the following day and everyday since without once receiving a return call. It has now been a week without hearing back from anyone. I tried going in today to see if I could talk with the G.M. and of course was told he had just left but this kind of thing happens all the time. What do you mean all the time? My dad owned an auto repair shop for years and never once did I hear of anyone breaking someones key and I guarantee if we had they would have had a new one that same day. read more

They do that every time I'm there. It's so annoying. And two people took money from me in there and didn't even look up and smile. Time for an update - I needed an oil change. I was very bad. It had been almost two years since my last one. Now I work from home and don't drive far when I do go out but still, two years is a long time in between oil changes. I pull up and Justin comes out to help. I tell him what I need and I point to the sticker in my window that shows the last time I had an oil change. He says lets take a look at the oil and see how it looks. Well, needless to say it was gunky. He suggested a flush to get all the gunk out. He was great, not pushy, and totally understood my need to keep it within my budget. I asked about fluid checks and coolent. He asked if I knew about the filter that was behind my glove box. I said no....Now my car is 13 years old and I know most things about it but no one had ever told me about the filter behind the glove box. He suggested that may be the reason I'm not feeling cooler air or not much air at all. He said he would pull it out and take a look at it and let me know. My daughter and I went inside to wait. As with my first review they still have computers and games as well as the nice waiting area with TVs and comfy chairs. It took about 1/2 hour. Justin came back in with the filter in hand to show me. It was disgusting. In all the times I've had my car serviced, that filter had never been changed. And we were breathing that!! It was full of dust, dirt, mold and leaves. Nasty!! I was grossed out. Justin said not many people are aware of this filter so it often goes unnoticed. He hooked me up with a new one and when I got back in the car I was amazed at how much better the air flow was in the car. We could actually feel the air. Tires checked and filled with air and oil changed. Needless to say I was a happy gal. Justin did a fantastic job and also answered a lot of questions for me. If you go to the Cobblestone ask for Justin. He ROCKS!! I didn't get an upsell push from Justin but I did get one from the guy at the desk outside. He stopped me to ask if I knew they did windshield repair. I said yes and that my insurance does not cover it. He gave me a price, I said no. My windshield is find, mind you. I can't blame em for trying but you would think if I needed windshield replacement I would ask. Just sayin... read more

In preparation for a road trip, I brought my truck in for an oil change and detail. After several hours I came by to check on why it was still in the oil change facility. They had run it without adding oil! They BLEW UP THE ENGINE. Unbelivable! They were using a big breaker bar trying to get the engine unseized when I walked in! Are you kidding me?!? Anyway they sent the truck to a crappy repair facility and put a crappy junkyard motor in as a replacement. They never made it right. Offered me some free washes as compensation. This place sucks. Management at this place is a joke. Dell, the GM, had an excuse for every single issue that I addressed. Being a platinum customer with several vehicles that were detailed at other numerous occasions, we took it to this location C3 once. Before we were even presented with an opportunity to inquire as to the "terms and conditions" of their windshield sticker policy (as we were having our windshield recalibrated this afternoon by our dealership), he proceeded to reach inside my vehicle while still in it and rip the sticker from my windshield. We were told by him that he'd rather lose the 5K a month in corporate business we brought than to detail our car (despite the one time circumstance of not having the sticker on it per the circumstances above) this one time. We pulled our corporate account and went elsewhere. His arrogance and frankly his super unprofessional attitude will prevent us from doing any business with Cobblestone, whether it's sponsoring another fundraiser or just getting one of our many vehicles detailed. read more

Took my truck here because my office moved to Chandler. I had a weekly pass for another wash by my old office. I wash my truck on the weekends and take it to a wash during the week. After one wash the tire shine was all over the side of my truck. It looked worse then when it was a little dusty. Went back the next day and the manager said it's because they use a cheap oil based shine that doesn't stick good to the tires. They offerd to wash it again for the exterior only but through their fast pass lane. The guy drying the car half dried it and left spots all over it. I wasn't about to go back again and complain after I just did so avoid this place. I'll take my business back to classic car spa. read more

Definitely would not come back here for a car wash. It really is true that they clean according to how new your car is. If you're bringing in a Lexus, they will probably do a decent job. If you're bringing in an early 2000's Ford Taurus, as I did, they will treat it as such. The interior looked like they hadn't even gone over it with the vacuum. There was still hair all over the place that was visible from 5 ft. away. They really dropped the ball on this one. Ouch. Next time I will save the $16.99 on the "supreme" wash and take care of my car myself. read more

Thank you for your reply Jason but you are INCORRECT. The handle on the glove box was intact when I dropped off the vehicle for the SHODDY $99 detail and, in fact, we purchased the vehicle from the Scottsdale VW dealer a # of years ago and the handle was NEVER broken while we owned the vehicle until your employee did so. The new tires were placed on the vehicle by Discount Tire in Chandler who did an excellent job and I personally HANDED the wheel lock to the employee and placed it back in the organized glove box myself. They did not do the damage but nice try subjugating the responsibility! The only misunderstanding is your organization's failure to accept responsibility for the damages your employee clearly caused, your incongruent manager training and lack of quality customer service. I would rate this location a negative if I could. Starting at the beginning, we purchased a monthly plan and found our car was never vacuumed completely, never wiped down and windows were always streaky. We determined very quickly this company is a complete ripoff. The last straw was a few weeks ago when we waited an unusually long time for our vehicle and found that these people locked the keys in our car after the car came thru the tunnel,with the car running. There excuse the locks were on automatic, which was an unacceptable excuse. After our car running for approximately 30 minutes, the attendant said they called us over the PA system, another fabrication. We then have been trying to cancel ever since to no avail. We get the recording leaving the information to cancel but low and behold another monthly fee came out today and when the directions were followed, the website says an error occur and will not accept the information. So, at this point, we will reachout to the Better Business Bureau for assistance. read more

Just stay away. I have an oversize vehicle (Nissan NV 3500) and I'm forced to use places that can accommodate it. Consequently, I've been here about four times. These people are careless and they miss tons of detail that should be expected for their $35 service. Worse, they leave wet, dirty footprints all over your carpets. Slowest car wash ever. I could have licked my car clean in the amount of time it took them to do a basic wash on my car.

I have been here many times for gas, car washes, and window tinting. When I first started coming here for the window tinting, it was great. Then I came for the car washes. Like previous reviews have said, they upsell in the worst way possible. I've gotten the $5.99 wash before.. I figured I could pay more an it would be better? Nope. I went through the area to talk to someone about a carwash and they suggested the $30 one. I chose that. Then, another guy who wanted to fix the crack in my window tried to talk me into getting it fixed. He said "it'll be covered on your insurance." I told him no and he still pressed on. I said "maybe. Let me call my dad and see what he thinks." He said okay. I go on the curb and watch another guy take my car to the carwash.. Or so I thought. Next thing I know, I find the same sales guy walking back towards me and I told him that my dad said not to do it. He goes on to explain that he had already done it and that it would be covered on my insurance!!!! He's like "oh.. You'll get the next one on me.. Just ask for me." Now I'm furious. The $30 carwash was just like the $5 carwash except they wiped the dash down AND I had to pay $40 for something I didn't even want. On several other occasions, I've been pumping gas and been approached by sales people. I politely said no and tried to get in my car. He still kept trying to sell it to me.... I just decided that I'll drive the extra miles for a better carwash and to not be bombarded by sales people. read more

Unfortunately, Yelp does not give the option of giving half-star ratings. It would be a 3.5 star rating. They do not do a bad job with the wash itself. I do see an improvement in wheel cleaning between Cobblestone and the former car wash I used. Both times I have taken my car there, they have cleaned everything to my expectations. However, the drying is something that needs to be addressed. I understand how busy car washes can be but some tend to do a better job at drying the car off, even to the point that there is no microbeading of water on the glass. I have seen where my mirrors have microbeading on them after drying (could be from using a damp towel). read more
