They aren't the best car wash ever but they do get the job done. There's a Dunkin Donut inside the gas station so if you needed a snack while waiting for your car, there's that. Also at the end of the "race line," there's a nice shaded area where you can sit and wait for your car as well. There's always a lot of people whenever I'm here, so that's a good thing! I was there today for the ultimate car wash. Upon getting home I noticed they had not bothered to vacuum that back area of my suv so I had to drive back and have it done again. What surprised me the most was the cobblestone guy asked me if I had requested the back area to be vacuumed? Are you serious? They must have new staff as that has been an issue before. I was not impressed with the suggestion that the missed area was my failure to notify them that I wanted all of my suv vacuumed not just part of it. I will be looking for other options next time. read more

This is actually a great place to wash your car! I've never had my oil changed there so I can't speak to what the other reviewer mentioned. I get the 24.99 car wash, but they always have a coupon for 5 dollars off making the wash 19.99. They do such a great job, it's almost if the car has been detailed. It's always very quick, I don't have to wait around to long which is great, but they have the Slurpee machine which always catches my attention anyway. This cobblestone is no where near my home, I make a special trip to have my car washed here, I like it so much. They also have a dun-kin donuts inside! Worst service ever, only outdone by poor quality work. I was there with a friend on April 30th. There are three lanes, but the guys who write one's order were so busy talking to each other and leaving patrons waiting that it took nearly 30 minutes to get to the front of the line. I also noted that a car that had arrived after me was processed three cars ahead of me. if I had not gotten out of the car to ask the guys why there was nobody manning the vacuums, it would have been even worse. There were FIVE guys all standing around and socializing instead of working! it was another half hour until my car was done. During that time, the man in the vehicle behind me approachedme to tell me that he too, was irritated, and that the attendants who vacuumed my car had skipped the back seats. He stood watch to make sure his own were done. When I finally got my car, the windshield was streaky. I was so annoyed with the indifferent service by that point that I just left. I will never go there again, nor will my friend or the gentleman I spoke to. We three former customers will undoubtedly discourage others from going there, too. I noted there are video feeds of the vacuum lines visible in the waiting room. the owners of this place ought to take a look at what ISN'T happening and address it before losing all of their clients. read more

Just moved from Maryland where you could not get a good carwash no matter where you went. I purchased a Groupon and paid the extra $4 for the "Works". Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about but my car looks fabulous, wiped, shined, vacuumed great. Great attention to detail. Even used an "air" compressor to get all the water out of the cracks. No drips anywhere. Love the fact that the car was "looked" over to ensure it was "right" before my name was called. Thank you Tom J. (Did not appreciate the "windshield" guys sales pitch)...but that does not take away from the great wash. I also know that if there was something not right I could have pointed it out and it would have been taken care of. read more

I will not visit this Cobblestone again in my lifetime; does it matter to the establishment? Probably not, but to those of you reading this, maybe. After receiving what I would call bad customer service from the manager on staff regarding an Express car wash, I was given the telephone number to the corporate offices to complain about my services received. When I received a call back to discuss what I experienced, not one time was I told they would follow-up with my complaint and call me back, leaving me to believe that nothing was going to happen beyond that call. read more

I went to this place for an oil change. The dude who checked in my car kept trying to flirt with me which was unprofessional. The oil change took 15 minutes which I appreciated but it took longer to wash the car than to change the oil so I thought it was weird. A month later my oil was leaking and my car was rattling. Turns out the bolts were loose and the oil filter was put on badly. I had to spend 2 hours at my dealership to figure out what happened. I'm never going to place again. If you want fast, lackadaisical, half-assed service go here. If you want more efficient, job-done-right service, go somewhere else. read more

The detail is worth about $8. Terrible "detail". I've had $10 car washes that were far better than this $64 "detail". I opted for their most expensive wash, $39 which includes a through interior and exterior cleaning. They upsold me to a $64 detail with upgraded wax. I got the car back and the trunk had not been vacuumed at all. Floor mats had not been removed, there was dirt underneath the mats. There were still bugs on the car from a recent road trip. Last Friday set up an appointment with Chris for this morning at 10:00 am to have my window tint work done. This morning at 9:58 am I show up and as I'm getting out of my car I get a call from Chris and he tells me he's sorry but Cobblestone no longer does window tinting because they have other plans for the service bay so he cannot honor his appointment. He said he was running errands with his daughter so he couldn't call me any sooner. Then Chris got snotty with me because was upset that I Cobblestone didn't bother to tell me that my appointment had been canceled before I arrived. Stopped in for the first time yesterday for a car wash. The greeter talked me into buying an unlimited pass. This was slightly more expensive than the "works" but was a bargain at 2 washes a month. My antenna was bent during the process. When I talked to Tony the manager, he replaced it immediately. They keep a stock of extra antennas for these situations. Very pleased. read more

Shiny appearance, Shady service. I recently received a set of services that I was very disappointed with, gave the managers a chance to explain or make things right, received no response. See below for my letter of concern (explains shady service). I don't make it a habit to give bad reviews, but others need to know about their unethical business practices. To Whom It May Concern: I recently used your Groupon for an oil change, tire rotation, and car wash to treat my father-in-law. When I pulled up for the oil change, Francisco Arbello, the mechanic, informed me that I needed a AutoTrans D&F. Being that it was not my car, I did not know the last time this flush was performed, so I trusted him and paid the extra $69.99 for it. I sat in the waiting room and nobody ever came to tell me my car was finished. Then when I saw my car washed in the lot, an attendee made me search out a man in a white shirt for my keys, which took almost 10 more minutes. As time passed, I realized that my tires had not been rotated because one tire has a slow leak and is still in the same position. Then I asked my father-in-law about the last time he had a transmission flush, and he answered "within the last 7,000 miles". I am new to the Phoenix area and have always gone to a local mechanic, so I am not aware of these "tricks". However, I trust that this is not the way management wants its business represented, and that you will do what you can to compensate me for faulty service. If I do not hear back from you in a prompt and considerate manner, I will be forced to eat the costs, but will not stop short of putting this up on social media sites and forwarding a copy to your business partners. This all happened in the May-June 2012 time frame on my 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 which is a 9.8 out of 10 condition-wise and taken VERY well care of. 1st visit - Express wash. Gear box above rotating brush scratched and pushed mirror back on the passenger side (drivers side brush reacted accordingly). I spoke with Austin who took damage report and was told video would be reviewed. I offered to duplicate scenario as it was already scratched and was denied. I was told i would be contacted in a day or 2. This visit took 30 minutes. I was not contacted and called 5 days later - I spoke with Austin again. I was told a replacement mirror was ordered and I would be contacted when it came in. 10 minutes on the phone. 2nd visit - Approx 1 week later. I spoke with another manager whose name I didn't catch. I was told the mirror was ordered and they would call me when it arrived. I told them I didn't want an aftermarket part. He told me he completely understood with such a nice truck. They ordered it from the dealer and it would absolutely be OEM. This visit took 15 minutes. 3rd visit - Approx 1 week later. I dealt with Carlos. I was told they needed to review the video. I asked if they could do that now, because that was supposed to be done a few weeks ago. I was then informed there were no cameras in that part of the car wash.... What??? You just told me 10 seconds earlier you needed to review the video... I was then told I needed to bring the truck in again (it had been there twice before). I told Carlos i was losing patience with this, but I would bring the truck in a 3rd time, but I would like to get the mirror that day because this would be nearing a month since the first issue. This visit took 15 minutes. 4th visit - Approx 1.5 weeks later. I brought the truck in again. Carlos looked at it and went to compare the scratch height to the offending part of the car wash. I waited for 10 minutes while he went into the car wash. He returned to tell me that he had a guy who would repair it. I told him I was promised a replacement. He told me he was not going to do that. He didn't believe the scratch was caused by the car wash to begin with and he was going above and beyond. I then offered again to duplicate the issue. Of course he declined. At that point he started bring up the "aftermarket" truck parts, the waivers, signs, warnings, etc... I told him I was promised the replacement for weeks. The repair and "painting" an unpainted black plastic mirror of such a new vehicle would not be as long term as I would like. I was told that's all he would do and was offered a hand wash and wax instead. I asked if that came in a voucher (because I no longer trust the car wash due to the rapport this situation has created)...I'd give it to someone with a beat up car. I was told they don't do that and come talk to him when I'm ready. Ultimately I left with a scratched mirror, an offer for a quick fix or a wash & wax from a location I've lost trust in and a few hours worth of visits and calls. After reading the Yelp reviews I saw "Jason" responding to various reviews and seemingly concerned with them. I called Jason's extension at their corporate office twice and left messages to "discuss my recent experience at the Chandler location". I never received a response. To sum it up... 1 truck in essentially new condition + Cobblestone Chandler = Hours of wasted time, a scratched truck and 1 unused "promise" of a wash & wax. read more

But, good service has deteriorated with high pressure soft sale attempts, and most recently poor workmanship claiming a dirty car clean. We've been going to the car wash portion of the Auto Spa for a month or so and liked the finished product. Received a coupon for a $29,99 oil change and free wash. Sent my wife in to take advantage of the coupon. They told my wife that it would be more and she asked if she'd still get a discount. They said yes NOT telling her the total price in advance. I know all about fine print and I know that a synthetic oil is more but we got charged a total of $73.96 for the oil change and "free" wash. Are you kidding me? This is a Chevy. My gawd, I take our Mercedes to the dealership and they only charge me $55 to get the oil changed and they wash the car just the same. Deceptive advertising at its finest. We won't be going to Cobblestone again and I'd suggest if you do, you make sure you get the exact charges in advance!!! read more

Just spent $60 for an exterior car wash and interior shampooing of my carpets and detailing. I also took the scam of having my window chip repair that was the smaller than the size of a dime. One of The worst interior cleanings I have had of my car! USA Auto Glass didn't even fix the chip. After pointing it out they had a zillion excuses why it was still there. I paid for a $8.99 car wash with my gas fill up which includes a wash, spot-free treatment, and tire shine. I went through the wash, the light bars for the Spot-free treatment and the tire shine never came on. The "Services You Just Received Board" at the end of the wash told me I got all the services I paid for, but I drove out and got a block away and got out of the car. It looked like crap - spots and dirt everywhere and the tires certainly hadn't been done. I figured the machine just malfunctioned and I took the car back and asked them to run it through again, which they were very nice about. I made it clear that I paid for a $8.99 wash and the tires and the Spot-Free never came on the first time I went through. I went through a second time and again the Spotfree and Tire-Shine lights never came on, but the second time through the dirt on the exterior of the car was gone. The Tires where not shined and were still filthy. The Service sign at the end of the wash indicated I only got a basic wash. I took the car back around to the attendent area and told them that the lights for the tires and the spotless did not come on the second time around. I have my 2 year old daughter in the car and have now spent a total of 20 minutes dealing with this. I understand machines malfunction and their first attempt to rectify the situation was appreciated, but when the attempt to rectify it ends up being the $4.99 wash and not the $8.99 wash I paid for (and had the receipt for), I am a bit annoyed at this point. I have things I need to do so I asked them if they could just refund the $4.00 difference between the two washes. At this point the attendent gets nervous and calls the manager Carlos out to talk to me. Carlos comes out about a minute later and I try to explain to him what has just happened and just as I get to the point where I tell him the lights for the tire-shine didn't come on the second time, He cuts me off to tell me that he "reviewed the video" and that the extra services didn't come on the first time though but that my tires were done the second time. My tires are as dull and nasty as a grease pan. Not to mention he obviously did not have time to review the video before the attendant called him and when he came out. Also, their own "services you just received board" even said I just got a basic wash. I just wanted the services I paid for, but now I have basically been lied to when the evidence the service has not been done is staring him in the face. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. Carlos tries to tell me that they will hand apply the tire shine if I go around to the back. Um, you just lied to me, I am done doing business with you. I told him no thanks and left. I still never got my Spot-free treatment I paid for either. I guess I am old fashioned and expect a business to deliver on what I pay for without being lied to. This is really unfortunate since my husband has been using this place for gas and carwashes for a year since we moved here and has never had a problem. read more

While the car wash is...well...a car wash...and it suffers from car wash issues. Lazy employees who really couldn't care less if you're happy or not since they have no vested interest in your happiness. However...UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU HAVE YOUR GLASS FIXED BY THESE PEOPLE!!! I had my windshield repaired while I was at work. 2 weeks later, on my way out of town for a 4-day mini-vacation, the top seal came unglued and made this HORRIBLY loud buzzing sound. So I drove 20 miles back to Cobblestone. No one was there to fix it...closest guy was in Scottsdale. So, the Gen Mgr, Carlos, re-glued it for me. I left the tape on it for 2 days and when I took in off the exact same thing happened except I was in Laughlin NV this time. Still working out with the insurance what to do. So far they won't cover it because it is Novus/Cobblestone's fault and my claim is with them. Do yourself a favor...go somewhere else. They REALLY talk smack about Safelite but anything is better than the exacerbation that comes with doing business with these guys. UPDATE: (7/2/2014) There have been TWO appointments made with these clowns and the rep from Novus didn't call...DIDN'T SHOW UP!!! Last Wednesday and yesterday. I went to Cobblestone and was told that they were told I was going to go to Safelite...no one EVER said I was going to Safelite and in fact my insurance is forcing me to deal with these clowns since they already paid the claim. They were supposed to call me Monday and give me a block of time to be available on Tuesday at which point they would call 30 minutes prior to the arrival of the Tech...NONE of this happened. NONE!!!....TWICE!!!! This company is THE MOST incompetent of any I have ever worked with..,.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! As for the General Manager's comments: he may as well have not wasted his time. A canned/general apology at best. He obviously knows about Novus...you can look them up yourself and at any location in Metro Phoenix only one has a rating above 1...not too impressive. read more

Thanks Cobblestone Chandler! I took my Toyota FJ in this past Sunday to get it detailed after a bear broke into it up in the White Mountains. It was full of mud and smelled like bear. You don't know how much a bear smells until he spends some time in your vehicle. Daniel, my service writer, and Raul, my detailer did a fantastic job getting the truck cleaned up and odor free. The service here is impeccable. I'm always pleased with the results. The staff here is very friendly and will always handle your car with care. Ask for Carlos (the manager) he gives special attention to your needs. The Dunkin Donuts inside with cumfy seating and large flat screens make you want to stay awhile. comfy outdoor seating is an added plus. The popcorn should be free though. Desktop P'S with Internet are available for your use and keep kids occupied. Then you leave feeling like you have a shiney new car. I highly recommend this place. read more

This has been a crazy experience. I had the rotten bad luck of choosing the wrong line. Both of the cars in front of me forgot to leave their keys so the flow of the line was delayed twice. I realize that this is not the establishment and employees fault but honestly no one seemed to notice nor be concerned when I call them over to ask what the 2 separate delays were caused by. I just got a very unconvincing "I'm sorry" both times. Not one employee asked me which wash I wanted so I finally called one over, who then talked me in to up buying to the next level and assuring me it would not be a detail situation and would not take longer than a regular wash. Well, guess what, it was taken to detail. Long story short, I don't mind waiting my turn but I really feel like the employees on the front end could be more observant and keep the flow going better than they did and also they could look into their hearts and be better people and have some empathy. Not one of those front end employees cares about the customer. About An hour after pulling up for what I thought would be a quick wash based on the number of cars in lines, I'm finally in my vehicle. I might add that it does look very good but because of the front end hassle I'm not going to rush back. I'm sure cobblestone could care less because they have plenty of business but I felt compelled to tell other customers about this. read more

I love this place!! I have the membership so I can go anytime for a quick wash. I also get my oil changes here. I went with my daughter a few months ago for an oil change and James helped us, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us with our questions about window tinting and the yellowing on my daughters headlights. For all of you who have issues with the up-sells and window fixers. Just say no and walk away. First time going here and was scared about the reviews but read this first before you cast judgement based on other reviews..... I took my car in for an oil change, interior detail, and an exterior wax. They did a great job! Like everyone else has stated they did try to upsale on (engine detail, tranmission flush, wheel alignment, chip windshield, cabin filter change and etc) just let them do their shpeel and just say no. I went in and before the guy could say anything I said this is what I want how much can you do it for, he replied and threw in some extra upselling offers and I said no. I got what I wanted at a fair price and great service, don't stay away from this place just because they upsell, just say a firm and respectful no and they leave you alone. The service was great, fast, and the facilities are awesome! They have a dunkin dounts inside :) two computers and two t.v.s with plenty of seating as well as a play area for kids...if you have older kids they have a playstation that should keep them distracted for awhile. Overall I was very pleased and is now my official new car wash and oil change place. (If you are a manager reading this....in my opinion to be five stars lay off the upsellin. Customers will get what they need its fine to inform them what they need, but do not do it in a manner that they have to get it or their car will explode) read more

My grandson and I brought my car in to cobblestone on 4-26-2019 to have it cleaned. I ordered the top of the line wash that came with a hand wax. My 7 year old grandson was sitting in the back passenger side of the car and he put his $5 dollar bill in the door compartment where he sat. When we got the car back he noticed his money was gone. So before I talked to the manager about it I looked through the whole car including my grandsons pockets to make sure he didn't have it in them. I talked to the manager and asked him if he could look on the cameras to see if he might be able to see if anyone took it. His comment to me was "we have complaints like this everyday and I don't want to see anybody get fired over $5". He offered me A free car wash for it but I refused and told him I just wanted my grandsons $5 back that one of your employees took. He said he would go back on the cameras later and call me but never did which I expected. So I took $5 out of my pocket and gave it to my grandson. I never leave money in my car when I go A place like that to get my car wash and had I known my grandson put his $5 in that compartment I would have had him put it in his pocket. I've been going to cobblestone for 13 years now but after this incident I will not be returning back to any of their stores. read more

Brought my car in at 9:30 and was pressured into buying all of the extra BS. I got an oil change, AC recharge, and detail. The man I dropped my car with in the oil change said it should take around 3 hours to get everything completely done, but they don't call people when their car is done so if I leave, I should come back in about 3 hours. I gave them extra time and came back at 2pm. They told me they hadn't even started my detail and that it was my fault for assuming it would be done quickly. 1. 4 and 1/2 hours if not quickly. 2. I was following the advice they had given me AND had given additional time. I asked to speak to a manager and he said I should've known it would take longer. He said I have three options: come back another day, wait 3 more hours to get it done, or get a refund. They lied to me from the beginning, overcharged the hell out of me, and then called me a liar and impatient. Now I have spent my entire (and only) day off this week dealing with this, paid for 2 uber rides, and STILL am waiting. I will NEVER be back, and I will never suggest anyone I know to come here.
