I normally do not write reviews, but the service that I received at this Cobblestone I felt deserved a review. A week ago I took my vehicle into Cobblestone for an oil change and car wash. Everything was going normal until I picked my vehicle up at the Finish Line. When I got over to the Finish Line, I noticed that the person that was working on detailing around my front bumper and lights, calls someone over to bring over a broom with them. Shortly after cleaning up the mess he calls me over to retrieve the vehicle and at that point I had noticed that they had broken both of my fog lights. In order to request reimbursement for the damage I had to fill out an incident report. When I got home, I also noticed that from the oil change that they had not bolted the skid plate up properly and i had dragged it for five miles. After taking it back to them a second time they properly secure my skid plate on the vehicle. I still did not get a I am sorry or any sort of reimbursement. A few days later, they asked for me to bring the vehicle in so another manager, named Jordan, could look at the vehicle. He told me that because both of the lights had been broken that it was pre-existing damage as the lights were not broken when I brought the vehicle into him. I also asked him to show me proof as I had photos of the vehicle right after picking it up from them with glass laying in the housing unit. I also advised him that I had seen his own staff pull glass out of the fog light housing unit. He showed me the video and stated that because he was not able to determine from the video when they broke the fog lights that he was refusing to pay for the damage. I also offered to provide the photos that I had taken that are date and location stamped. He had no interest in looking at all the evidence. I also would like to add the camera systems are also so outdated that you have a hard time making out someones face let alone when they broke my lights. At this point I am so pissed at the condition that they left my vehicle in. They have not made any attempts to do what is right to the customer. As well as they have flat out refused to pay for any of the damages that they made to my vehicle. It is not right for a company that I have been going to for years at different locations to treat their customers so poorly. This car wash has serious issues. I took a car there that hadn't been driven for about two years. It wasn't filthy, but it did need extra care. I paid about $70 to have the interior cleaned well and obviously the outside done too. Let me insert that someone comes to your car and tries to talk you into fixing any chips in your windshield. I did this once and these people were calling me five years after I sold that car asking if I would like to bring my car in to fix any other chips. That's dedication. When I went to go pay, I didn't notice that they overcharged me by about $250 (explain to me how you accidentally put in $300 instead of $70). They told me that it would take a few days to reverse, but it took like seven. The weird thing is, is that a few years ago the very same thing happened to me. I'm not sure if this is a scam, but it's definitely feels like a scam. I called the home office and tried to talk to them about it, but they wouldn't return my phone call. I would be very careful with your receipt here and make sure that it matches what you're supposed to pay. Clarify before they even start to charge your card so that they can't run this on you. Back to my car...it was a mess. Because it had been sitting it had cobwebs around the mirror that were still there after the wash. How is that even possible? My interior looked like garbage. They cleaned the dash and that's it. The seats were dusty. Everything looked the same. For $70 I expected a lot more. But you get what you get when you go to scammers a second time. They told me to bring my car back so they could fix it, but I know I could run my car into a wall and it would look better. What a trash place. read more

Horrible! This the 2nd time I have gone there. Purchased a groupon. First time it was almost as if the back of my suv had not been touched. Still had crumbs and little spots of whatever (I have a 6 year old is can only imagine) Nothing had been whipped down in front or back. Usually when you get your car cleaned they hand it back all shiny and smelling great. Not the case here. I should have gone back but rushed and needing to pick up from family from the airport. Second time yesterday 3/24/17 same thing this time the front had been kind of cleaned but nothing shiny and the back seat was still a mess. (See pictures: /). Let me just start off with saying I know dog hair can be a bitch to clean.... I know. I roll up last week and was greeted by a super friendly employee (wish I remembered his name). I told him I have had this membership for about three months now (thought I had an overpriced express pass) and would like to know how much additional I would need to pay to have them take care of it. He came back to say that I have a membership that includes everything and that they will take care of it. I told him that in the three months of me using this pass I have never used this service and when I purchased the pass this was not explained to me. He asked which location I purchased this from and I told him it was the Alma school and US 60. He said, "my apologies, I know our team would have explained that better to you, let me take care of you!" He told me to leave my keys in the car and to step inside to get my ticket. As I was grabbing my purse I had mentioned to him that I had chauffeured some dogs around the weekend prior and have some dog hair in the back. He looked at it and said, "oh that's not a problem at all. Does not look bad. I'll tell my guys to get it good". Super thrilled that I was going to get some help, I go inside get my ticket, wait for my vehicle to be done and was called to my vehicle. I hand my ticket over and my tip, thanked them and drove off. I got home only to find out that they did the exact opposite. It didn't even look like they touched my backseat. I'm not exaggerating here... Floor mats did not get picked up, the seats still looked the same, they did not even wipe up the drool that could have been easily wiped up. Needless to say if you have any sort of membership, want a membership, or just want a one and done service from them.... I would not recommend it! You are better off doing it yourself and getting better results. read more

First and foremost, I'd like to thank Chris at Cobblestone Auto Spa in Gilbert (2297 South Val Vista Dr.) for explaining all of the various car wash options to me, a first time customer. I ultimately choose the monthly exterior plan which consists of unlimited car washes each month. Actually, in smaller print, there's a limit of 1 time each day. Wait, doesn't unlimited mean w/o limits? lol! In reality, I seriously can't imagine many customers would do that as it would rapidly break down the wax, clearcoat & ultimately, the paint. Anyway, back to the deal. "Unlimited" car washes for $15.99 per month, which I felt if I used it once a week, was a pretty descent deal to me. Note: This is set up to be an automatic recurring charge billed to your credit card. This may not appeal to all customers. That said, it's good for me. Chris placed a sticker/code strip on the inside of my windshield so that the reader/scanner in the special fast pay lane can scan it, which then grants the customer access. I was informed that I can use my monthly membership at all of their locations across the Valley which adds convenience to me. One last thing about Chris, (that guy knows his college football, Hook 'em!) he hooked me up with a complimentary upgraded car wash that I was able to use right away. You rock buddy! Upon paying, the friendly and knowledgeable cashier, Cassie (I found out she's one of the managers. Aha!) provided me with a detailed brochure that presented a concise overview of the program including simple, no hassle cancellation instructions, should I wish to cancel the program. The last step of the process was to go out to the large final processing bay where the crew vacuums, finishes the drying process with towels and air hoses (that's what I'm talking about! No more water coming out of the side mirrors and streaking the windows, etc.!) doing the dash & inside glass, etc. I'll tell you that the crew is efficient, with minimal wasted effort. Well done! They had me do a quick walk around and I was impressed and I'm picky about details. I tipped them and was on my way with our Honda looking spectacular! A quick shout-out to several people who made a great first impression on me today..... Chris, the guy that greeted me and fully answered all my questions and was pressure free. Chris, we'll done my fellow college football fan. Thanks again. You're the best! Hook'em Babeee! Cassie, the friendly and knowledgeable cashier who answered my several additional questions. You're one of the most unassuming & modest managers I've met! Thanks Cassie! I came in today with my daughters 2011 Nissan versa. I wasn't expecting miracles but for a supreme car wash I was expecting a certain level of cleanliness. They did a good job on the outside but on the inside it was as if they didn't even wipe it down. There were still dust all over the council. I'm not usually one to complain about a car wash because my car is not in the best condition, but I've been coming to this car wash for a while every now and then just to give it a chance, and I was so disappointed this time. First off, the guy seemed pissed that I didn't want to sign up for a membership...? I paid $14 and my car was still kind of dirty and had dirty water marks all over (I ended up wiping them off myself with the towels they provided). Overall whenever I go through, my car looks decent but this time it didn't look very clean AND a piece of plastic from my car broke off and was hanging on the side of my car (in the picture). This piece had never been removed or broken before, and I know sometimes these things ware overtime, but come on... I walked inside to talk to someone but they were too busy and I had somewhere to be. I'm giving them 2 stars because they offer towels and dash wipes and free vacuums. But overall I wasn't impressed. read more

Save your time and money and find an alternative your car wash. The service is terrible and they really don't care. I recently purchased an unlimited plan from the Cobblestone at Queen Creek and Higley in Gilbert. The last three times I have been there I have specifically asked them not to put dressing on my tires (all it does is attracted dirt after you leave), yet all three times they applied tire dressing. I didn't say anything the first two times and just drove home and cleaned it off myself. This time, I went back to the supervisor on the greeting lane and shared my dissappointment with the service. He just got a strange look on his face, turned around, and walked off. As he was leaving I said to him "it may not be a big deal to you, but it is to me" but he just ignored me and walked off. I am cancelling my unlimited plan. There are too many alternative car washes in my neighbohood that I should not have to put up with poor quality work and staff who really does not care. read more

The sales people at the full service wash are very off-putting and can be aggressive. Often try and overcharge and upsell you over and over and over. I ask for the basic wash and they try and up-sell and when I stick with basic they are rude and walk away upset. Not a great way to treat a customer. The other day when I had leaf residue in the back of my SUV the guy said I would need to get the car detailed in order to clean them up? When I showed him the basic package includes vacuuming and that they could just vacuum the leaf residue up he called over 2 or 3 people to look and they talked privately and finally came back and said 20 bucks extra and they will do it. The basic package is 13 bucks already. Seemed like an arbitrary number. Jumped in my car and left and vacuumed everything up down the street at a 3 buck car wash. Fair warning to all. I'm sure the express wash is fine but the full service is a scam with arbitrary pricing and fake added value packages...beware. read more

This place is still new and all... but every time I come by to get my car washed it is always very clean. The guys at the starting line don't try to up sell you with anything, or don't try to ask your about your windshield like other locations. It's a little further from my house, but every time I go to Costco I make sure to get my car washed before. Keep up the great job! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came in with my mom In my Jeep wrangler and paid $160 for their car wash promotion (5 free premium washes) which they are supposed to clean the outside and the inside. They brought my car back to me with the most HALF ASS cleaning I've ever seen. I understand if there's a lot of business employees can get lazy but customers are coming here for quality service and this was the exact opposite. They didn't even touch my cupholders or dash board. When I drove back to let them know it wasn't fully clean I got introduced to the "manager". White guy with a beard kinda tall, anyway I don't know whether he's having family troubles or just hates life but this guy had the lowest vibrational energy I've ever felt in my life he was SO RUDE not only to me (I'm 18) and also my elderly mother!! I pointed out the marks and asked if he could wipe them off as I was scraping some of it off with my nail and he said and I quote "im not gonna spray or scrub it im only going to wipe it" even though I asked him politely to clean up the mess I just PAID for them to clean ... after even pointing it out he wouldn't do it. What really put the cherry on top is he laughed, turned his back to me and walked away playing with his microfiber towel. Either way I WILL NOT be coming back and my brother isn't coming to this location anymore either because he also witnessed this so they just lost 3 customers all because of this white trash asshole!! This Val Vista location is going down hill fast. I have a FastPass that I use, so I can detail myself. Last year the towels were nice and thick and all the vacuums and air hoses worked great. 2020 hit, and things have really gotten bad at this location. Towels have been replaced by very thin cheap ones now, usually still soaking wet. Can't dry a car with a wet towel people. I bring my own towels now, cuz it pisses me off. Next issue..many of the air hoses don't work or are extremely low pressure. Lastly, I have noticed some vacs not working or are missing entirely from the bay. I wish management would step up and get things working again. I will be going to the new location off AZ AVE and Germann, since it has better bays for cleaning. read more

Avoid this place, spent $55.00 for a total wipe down and conditioner in my truck and when I complained about the dust I was told you have to pay extra for the dust removal. Really??? I asked if I had to pay extra for the dirt still on the lower part of my door as well and he said he was sorry we could re wipe it at a later date!!! Giving it 2 stars because it was clean and the greeter was friendly. However when I pay $30 for a wash, i expect the interior to be clean. When I first got into my car I noticed the console was still dirty, but since the guy already walked away with his $5 tip... I used their towel to try and clean it. He noticed what I was doing and came back to redo it. I was appreciative of that so I just drove away. Before I left the driveway I saw dust all over the dash and as soon as I turned into the sun.... the film in the windshield was disgusting. It's Christmas time and I have too much to do to go back. Save yourself the money and go for the basic.... you get better work. So 3 hours later, and I'm taking away the 2 stars. I keep finding S&$! that should have been , but wasn't. Dash wasn't wiped, actually nothing interior was wiped , the rear door obviously wasn't opened because it's full of dirty water spots. This place is ok. Prices are a bit inflated and they really try to nickel and dime you. Whenever I go there they try to upsell me. I usually get the ultimate plus because they have. $10 coupon on their website so your getting the ultimate plus for the cost of the basic. Sometimes your car is clean as new, sometimes it's not. The outside always looks great, it's the inside that gets me. Touch screens that get dusty, get fingerprints, cup holder with crumbs or hardened liquids that don't get cleaned out. read more

Wow. Took our truck in today to the Cobblestone Auto Spa at Val Vista & Baseline in Gilbert, AZ for an interior/exterior wash to the tune of $180. Hadn't been washed for a while and we weren't expecting perfection but this is ridiculous. Exterior is dirty, some places look like they weren't even washed, wheels dirty, windows dirty, spots all over the dash like it was sprayed with liquid and not wiped. Carpet not vacuumed thoroughly. Honestly, it looks like the entire vehicle was just rinsed and spot cleaned. This looks like a $20 car wash. Definitely did not get the service we paid for. When my husband complained, all he got was excuses. They did discount to $120 for the problems but still not worth it. We can not recommend this car wash & will most definitely not be going back. Should have paid our grandkids to do it for $180, they would have done a better job. read more

I've been going to the car wash since it opened and have had a membership. They often didn't do a great job but I always attributed it to how busy they were. I took my mom's car to get washed for her on a Wednesday morning and got an ultimate wash. When I got the car the middle console had not been wiped down at all and under the mats nothing had been vacuumed. When I asked if they wouldn't mind vacuuming again I was presented with an eye roll and huffing and puffing. They reluctantly "re-vacuumed". I sat there and watched as they pretty much pretended to indulge my request. I ended up going to the self vacuum station and cleaned everything and vacuum everything they said they weren't able to pick up. I have cancelled my membership and will not be returning. read more

Then the oil change people tried to get me to change my diff oil.y truck has 17k miles on it.... they claimed it was recommended. Cobblestone on val vista has always taken care of my and in good timing. They give recommendations and if tour not ready or cant pay at the time they dont pressure you and just let you know on your receipt what needs to get done soon. read more

I go to the other cobblestone on Val Vista and baseline and they do a great job 90% of the time. A few times here and there I'll have to say something about an area that was missed but it's the exception not the rule. This place is definitely not the same they were more interested in pushing my car out versus getting the ultimate wash I paid for completed. Had to go back three times because I found they didn't vacuum the backseat, they didn't clean the wheels like I paid for, and thereWe're multiple areas where there was actually still dirt on the car that wasn't even touched. The attitude from the manager or whoever the guy is in the maroon shirt was "sorry boss" and that's all he could keep saying as he half assed his way through fixing what wasn't done the first or second Time. mind you this guy in the maroon shirt was the same guy yelling at his workers that were working on my car to hurry up and get my car out causing the initial issue in the first place. The self-service drive-through does a better job at McQueen at Warner don't waste your money at this location. read more

i liked this place better as Classic Car Spa. Classic always gave me my air freshener... Cobblestone never does so i don't know why i continue to pay for it. i can tell any ticket writer a number of requests (vacuum the trunk, car seat, no armor oil) and the right hand never tells the left (finish line). it's getting old. thankfully it's cooling down so i can do it myself the next few months ! my boyfriend even had a terrible experience here (first time) after paying $50 for a wash ! his windows were still dirty/spotted and the backseat wasn't vacuumed. his rims/wheels were dirtier than before he even took the car in... when we went today it wasn't even busy... just seems like it's always a rushed job. our cars are cleaner than they were so i suppose i can give em that i only have an exceptional experience when (ticket writer) Chris S. greets/helps me. he deserves a raise read more

Second time taking my new truck for a wash here. First time I neglected to look over the wash service. The rear bumper was left as dirty as it was when I had the vehicle washed. Sounds trivial, but when you pay 27.00 dollars to have your vehicle washed something simple as cleaning the rear bumper should not be overlooked. On Sunday, August 18, 2019 I did look over the truck. The truck was dirty from a long trip when I had it washed. The same bumper was still dirty, the windshield still had bug remnants, the undercarriage was still muddy, front bumper dirty, and interior was still dirty. I asked the maroon shirt (supervisor) if they could clean the bumper, not oil, just clean off the dirt and mud. His response was that it was an extra charge. He said he would do it this time. I didn't care for his snide response about the extra charge, told him never mind, drove to the front to speak with a manger. I explained to the mgr what had happened and the supervisors response. He offered to have the items corrected but after spending 30 minutes waiting for the truck I told him I would take care of it myself. After spending $27.00 for a car wash, the poor customer service by the supervisor along with the advertised wash I will never return here again. read more

If there is a negative start i would rate for this place. Last Saturday morning i stop by this car wash location to wash my truck. I have a membership with Cobblestone so the wash i've selected is the $16~, i drove my truck to the wash just like i done many many times before...excepted at the end of the line after air dried i noticed my Rear Right Tire of my truck is loosing air so fast that i can feel my truck run on the wheel. I went back to the air dryer area and noticed the wheel brush shiner mechanical arm was previously damage but did not get repair only cover with a rubber mat. There are couple sharp edges left unrepair around the mechanical arm and when my tires rub again it slash my tires and damaged the tire sensor I talked to the manager but he told "you drove it it not our responsibility" he said sorry but nothing i he can do. I was so upset about the way they handle the issue and hope customer service can help me but no luck there either, i call few times but no one response always leave a message. I know i am not a good writer but want to share my experience with everyone to be careful when wash your car at this location. read more

I take my 2017 Toyota Tacoma and my wife's 2008 Caliber to this car wash. Always an outstanding experience from great customer service to the end result of a clean car. I signed up for the unlimited washes on my Tacoma and it has proven well worth it! I highly recommend Cobblestone if you want to maintain your vehicles appearance! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Jordan the manager was incredibly unwilling to accept responsibility for damage done to my vehicle. He insisted that the scratches were sun damage. The body shop said otherwise and showed me other places on my car that were damaged. Jordan insisted the equipment is safe for my car. I wished I read the other reviews before I went there because they are proof that this location consistently damaged vehicles. I will make the repairs myself and warn everyone I can to avoid this place. The lack of any level of customer service is poor beyond description. Don't risk damaging your car and then be insulted by terrible management. Management can say it is sun damage but the sun doesn't make scratches in these unique spots. The other headlight is still pristine. Ignorance is your business motto. Customer be ware. read more

I am a very grateful and new customer who received the most friendly customer service by Logan, the manager. I was vacuuming my Escalade and accidentally locked myself out. I was feeling so distressed because I was driving a rental car and had no cell phone or wallet. Logan came over right away with a professional lock-out kit and got my car open in less than two minutes. He was friendly, careful, and experienced. He saved me a couple of hours of chaos. He was so gracious and kind and didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience or idiot. Logan's above & beyond customer service just gained a loyal customer for all four of our family's vehicles! I took my car in because my husband had been in a quad accident and there was a great deal of blood on the passenger side. A man approached when I explained what I needed done he replied "do you want the detail department to knock it out or do y want to tip me and I'll do it myself "? I asked him what we were talking money wise. To which he replied "I'll leave up to you, you can tip me!" He then walked off. He never mentioned a biohazard fee or how much detailing was. I don't know if he was trying to rip me, the company or both of us off. I felt very uncomfortable. My husband is lying in ICU in critical condition. Poor Job. All an upgraded car wash means here is that you pay twice as much for the same car wash. When you bring it up the guys they just get upset and literally wipe the 1 spot you point out and nothing else. What a waist of money. The 5 dollar drive through car wash has far more detail and much better customer service. Lesson learned I guess. read more
