Stayed here for a Thursday wedding. We called in advance and told no issue with checking in early…read moreas the wedding was like 3:30pm. There was a line of folks checking in at the same time and only one staff person checking everyone in. More than fine - smaller outfit and looked like just 1 computer. Staff person was friendly but hard to understand. We asked for a print out or a receipt when checking in but was told we can only get that at check out. Our room was what we expected but we noticed some construction down the hallway from our room. Thankfully, it wasn't too loud at all. The walls were pretty good - didn't hear too much from neighbors. The TV didn't work when we first got in but after about 10 minutes and new batteries, we were good to go. The ceilings are thin. We heard someone running up and down the hallway on the floor above us on Friday morning very, very early so couldn't really sleep in. The breakfast was okay but they did have a waffle station which was appreciated. Highly suggest sticking with the brewed coffee in the machine or the room. As we booked via the Knot to get the room block rate, we weren't allowed to get a receipt upon checkout. Frustrating and we were told different things by different people but ended up not getting anywhere with Cobblestone. Minor discrepancy on our charge from the quoted amount but we didn't feel like anything was going to happen given the issues with the receipt. All in all, it was an okay stay for the price. Just be prepared for a few bumps along the way.

The layout and decor reminded me of my business travel staple and like Marriott property the Courtyard. There was a full bar just the courtyard, the obligatory fire pit just like a courtyard, but unlike a courtyard as we know Fairfield offers the sad hotel continental breakfast instead of drastically overpriced microwaved Starbucks like a courtyard This location is right off the highway and close to commerce. You gotta drive a little to the shore for better dining but if you just need sustenance fast food is around the corner. HH is M-TR, free on wine and beer...don't be a cheap skate and tip the bartender a buck on a free drink

It's located near restaurants (BW3, Arby's, Mcdonald's, Subway, Rocky Roccoco) and stores (Walmart, Target, 5 Below, Home Depot). As you enter the hotel you're greeted with a friendly hello from the staff. The pool is rather small, but it's all about the kids right? Fitness room is clean and towels, individual packaged brand new headphones ate available for guests to use. What's also great about the Fitness room is that they have a filtered water dispenser. Our two-day trip to Sheboygan--organized around dining at a supper club, a Friday night fish fry…read moreand visits to the Kohler museums--needed a homebase that was dog friendly. The Watershed Hotel was the perfect spot! Our stylish, immaculate room overlooked the Sheboygan River. The hotel itself is modern, elegant, and spotless with an airy lobby where a continental breakfast is available each morning. The hotel staff--led by GM Bailey--is friendly and helpful. Sheboygan's not large and the Watershed is just a few minutes from the town's historical downtown. We're looking forward to returning to Sheboygan and another stay at the WH!

At all. The room itself was ok. No tissues, no phone, one single deadbolt lock. The worst was the layout of the step-in shower. In a bold move the designers thought it was a good idea to have just one side of the shower door open so when you turn on the water you can't help but get soaked. Even if you hold the detachable shower head you have to let it go at some point so you can get out and let the water warm up. When you do, it flies around like a garden hose. I got soaked. Ridiculous. I checked out a day early. I was out of patience. Even at $120/night. I'll pass next time.

Far from fancy, but We received what we paid for, Fancy no. Clean room, yes. View yes, if you do…read morenot get view, well did you book it in advance? Breakfast same as 1950's, really no breakfast as most Americans would like. No it is not a chain of hotels with irons, coffee pots, and all the amenities. Your not charged for them either. It is a clean, old fashion motel, and you can walk to town. It is not perfect, but will go back just to sit on balcony, relax. Because that is what I wanted. That is what was delivered. MY ROOM was clean, as was the other one we booked.

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME…read more My family and I travel often, and never have we been treated with such abysmal customer service than we have at Algoma Beach Motel. We are respectful of shared spaces, clean up after ourselves, and aren't excessively active. We checked in around 4pm, got to our room, and immediately spent time at the beach. We stopped back at our room for about 10 minutes to change before dinner. We got back to the motel to settle in at around 8-830pm, and started to unpack our things and get ready to play a card game. Around 9pm, we received a call from the front desk stating that the downstairs folks complained that it sounds like "elephants" up here and we need to keep it down. We were just unpacking our things, nothing wild, but I answered with enthusiasm that I would let my kids and partner know to keep the noise down. 5 minutes later, the complainant from downstairs showed up at our door in anger, in front of our children, and wouldn't leave. He shoved his foot in the door so I couldn't shut it, and only backed away when my partner stepped up to the door. We thought that would be the end of it, but the hotel attempted to call again and left us a voicemail saying that we were now required to move rooms to the bottom floor. We specifically chose a second floor room for safety, as the bottom floor rooms have two doors that open directly to the outside, and I suggested that the people below us could move instead, but I was told "don't you try and argue with me, you either move rooms or check out tomorrow." We secured much more family-friendly lodging down the road.
