Parking is good. Building has great character. Room is fine. I wish the bathroom/shower wasn't 100% exposed (no door to the shower or tub area) and I wish we had some sort of refrigerator in the room. The bed is comfy. This place has a Bed & Breakfast vibe. Breakfast was good, they'll make an omelette for you, but the breakfast hours are only 7-9am. It's weird they don't have someone working 24/7 like usual hotels. There's also no ice machine. You have to go to the bar and ask. The bar is nice. Lots of regulars so it's been busy. The place is right on the water and within walking distance to some restaurants and shopping. It's also smack dab in the middle of the farmer's market. It's a little 'old' but the vibes and character are cool. The stained glass windows in the restaurant are awesome. Restaurant was just OK. Tesla charger at the hotel across the street: $6 for 2 hours of charging, but the charging itself is free. Kind and helpful front desk staff, clean rooms, comfy bed with tons of pillows, great omelet made to order at breakfast, Irish comfort food for lunch and dinner. I am able to give a review of both the hotel and the restaurant after staying for a couple of days. First, the hotel portion was very nice. The rooms are not real big; but plenty of room for one to two people. There is a whirlpool tub, a large, walk-in shower, a couple of nightstands, and a desk. There is only one chair in the room, and no refrigerator. Ice is available from the bartender. Breakfast is included with your stay, and there is an omelette station and assorted breads and cereal. I ate in the restaurant one evening, sitting at the bar. The bartender was very busy, but service was good and the food was excellent. I had a burger with fries and everything was very tasty, fresh, and hot. The bar and restaurant seemed to attract a local crowd as well as the patrons of the hotel. I definitely recommend both a hotel and the restaurant. The hotel was very reasonably priced and worked great for what I needed. read more

Have stayed here twice and would again. Very convenient to downtown and hiking trails along the river. Popular Irish pub on first floor, with good food. Only drawback is the front desk was only manned part of the time. That was not a problem for us, but you might need to make special arrangements if you're arriving late. read more

This is a beautiful B& B style hotel in downtown Green Bay. Very charming and full of character. We loved the room! The bed was amazingly soft. Also the jacuzzi tub and rainfall shower were amazing. We will definitely be staying here next time we're in Green Bay. Breakfast is also included but hope you like omelets. They have one of my Top 10 best omelets (made to order), but otherwise continental breakfast was slim. read more

I stayed here for a recent business trip and ate at the restaurant one night. The food was great and the bartender who served me was attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is really clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. The front desk attendant knew me and greeted me by name every time she saw me, which was really pleasant. There is also coffee and water available in the lobby, and parking in the lot is free! I'd stay here again. It's also right off the Fox River Trail, so it's great for walking or running. The only complaints I have are that the front desk is sparsely staffed, so late check-ins might be an issue, and the a/c and heating unit is plugged in right near the open shower, so I was a little nervous about getting the plug wet. However, I'm not sure if that was an issue only in my room, or in others. I also didn't realize that the only hot breakfast item is omelettes--everything else is either a bread-based item or yogurt. read more

I just met some friends here for St. Patrick's weekend to celebrate. It is a lovely establishment and absolutely beautiful inside. The workers are polite and helpful and it has always been clean and tidy. I ordered the fish for the first time there and it was absolutely marvelous! This review is for the Inn, drinks in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant. Got to the Inn on a Wednesday two hours before check in. They made sure our room was ready and let us check in early. I understand with staffing shortages that wouldn't always be possible but this rainy day, it sure was nice. We loved our room with the wide open look. Clean, neat and really good coffee. After touring Door County, we arrived back at the Inn about 8:00 and headed to the bar. Bartender woman was very hospitable, drinks were reasonable and people were convivial. She even let us stay a bit beyond closing. Breakfast was part of the deal so our omelet chef cooked up some fine eggs and we got a head start to begin shopping, heading to the Pro Shop at Lambeau Field. We had two rooms, all the rooms have queen sized bed. We'll be back! read more

It was our first time visiting Greenbay and my friend and I decided to stop in while we were walking on the river walk. I am so glad we came across this hidden gem. This is the cutest little Irish bar inside the hotel. We stopped in before the Packers and just ordered drinks. The pineapple mule is fabulous. Overall the experience was good. The service was good and the Guinness was flowing. The temp of the food was okay but not great. Some was warm but not hot. The fish was very good. I was surprised at how small it seemed but honestly the prices weren't high. As a result I think it was very good. I would get it again. The sticky pudding was very good. I ate all of it. It didn't look spectacular but put together it worked very well. I will say I was disappointed that they didn't have the chicken appetizer with guinness bbq anymore. When we stayed here a few years ago we loved it and decided to return for one night for our anniversary. Check in was great. We were welcomed by Shilo and another woman when we arrived on a Friday afternoon. When we went to the bar the bartenders were strictly business (a man and a woman) and not very friendly. When we went for the breakfast that was complimentary, a sign stated to seat yourself. We sat down and had no idea what the process was and no one came to our table. There was another table set up with coffee and we saw guests helping themselves so we got up and got some coffee and scones. A women appeared from behind a screen to replace the empty coffee urn and I asked her what the process for breakfast was. She abruptly stated "breakfast is self cleaning, self ordering and self service" and she pointed to another woman who made omelettes. I thought OK I'll over there. There was no menu and the only thing you could order was an omelette. She brought our over cooked omelette to our table and put them in front of us without saying anything. We ate half our meal but left half since it was over cooked. I saw the other worker woman sitting at the bar. I would have liked some sour cream for my omelette but no one came to the table and she was eating her breakfast. The omelette lady had a tip box where she was making the omelettes so I decided to be cordial on the way out as I had to clean my own table and I put money in the tip box but she said nothing. Not a smile or a thank you. I'm sorry I tipped her. The room itself has an Irish feel but is a bit outdated. Will not go back...not because of the room but because of the rudeness at breakfast and at the bar. read more

I cannot more highly recommend St. Brendan's as a location for a private event. We hosted my mom's celebration of life at St. Brendan's in the Waterford Room and it could not have been better supported by the staff. We had a truly wonderful experience. Linda was an excellent communicator and helped us solidify every detail in advance to make it perfect and, day of, the staff was incredibly professional, friendly and flexible. Several attendees commented on how lovely everyone was. Our main server was Erin and the bartender was also Erin - both were wonderful! The room looked beautiful, the tables and beverage set up were exactly what we wanted and the food was great. They did not rush us at all and were entirely accommodating. 10/10 on everything! read more

This is a bit of a hidden gem in Green Bay. The European-inspired drink menu is unique, especially to Green Bay. It's been a while since I've had a snakebite! They have a nice outside patio in the back along the river that was exceptional for the beautiful day we were there. We were looking at the big "corporate hotels" but ended up finding St. Brendan's. We could not have been happier! The rooms were great, clean, and very on theme. There is nothing to dislike about this place. Big, open and roomy dining and bar and nice outside seating over looking the water. Staff was friendly, service was good. I ordered the Irish Root Soup, get the bowl, its fabulous. One of our party ordered the Irish Chips, thick cut fries that come with one of two sauces. He chose the sweet curry dipping sauce and I can confirm he chose wisely. I had one of the best Reuben Sandwiches ever, my wife ordered a very excellent Guinness BBQ sandwich, pulled pork, coleslaw piled on top of mashed potatoes served open faced on a thick slice of toasted brioche. Ha, she chose wisely too. I left completely stuffed and we both left with half a sandwich which reheated well for dinner. Don't visit Green Bay without stopping here for lunch or brunch. SECOND VISIT as good as the first. Quiet enough to visit but crowded enough to feel a part of 'something'. read more

We stopped here after a Packer's game even though Yelp said it was closed. The hostess was fine with seating us and was a very attentive waitress after seating us. Hubby got the Shepherd's Pie and said it was very flavorful. The only thing he would have liked different was to have had bread or a roll to clean up the bowl!! I had the bacon wrapped pork medallions with a garlic, whiskey sauce. There were three good sized medallions, mashed potatoes and some sautéed root vegetables. Pork was tender and juicy, cooked perfectly. The only thing I would have liked better would been to have had the sauce on the mashed. Beautiful and relaxing environment. Went for the fish n chips and a Guiness because I missed Ireland. Little did I know that this place is in conjunction with County Clare in Milwaukee which was one of my favorite spots while I was in college. They have curry sauce, yum! And their house soups of the day are great too - last time it was a creamy root soup. The portion on the fish n chips is huge - could feed two! I really really really wish though they would get a recipe or two that the County Clare has and bring it up to Green Bay - particularly the brown bread dumplings with rarebit (unfortunately that was over 15 years ago so it might be lost) read more

I made a reservation for the 1st time at this fairly highly rated hotel. I have stayed at the Green Bay Aloft for many years with great success and wanted to try a new GB hotel. I am a Packers season ticket holder thus my season-long need for a room every Fall. I expected some sort of response from the hotel when I had just a few questions about our upcoming stay. Not a single response. Nothing. I have cancelled our reservation for a wedding weekend because they do not seem to read their emails, or simply decide not to answer questions.
