Lamb shank - out of this world

Wonderful restaurant. Great service. The lamb shank was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time.

I stayed here for a recent business trip and ate at the restaurant one night. The food was great and the bartender who served me was attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is really clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. The front desk attendant knew me and greeted me by name every time she saw me, which was really pleasant. There is also coffee and water available in the lobby, and parking in the lot is free! I'd stay here again. It's also right off the Fox River Trail, so it's great for walking or running. The only complaints I have are that the front desk is sparsely staffed, so late check-ins might be an issue, and the a/c and heating unit is plugged in right near the open shower, so I was a little nervous about getting the plug wet. However, I'm not sure if that was an issue only in my room, or in others. I also didn't realize that the only hot breakfast item is omelettes--everything else is either a bread-based item or yogurt.

We enjoyed some beers at the bar and some appetizers. No major standouts. Nothing bad or good. We also did stay on the inn side. Lots of character in the rooms. Small jacuzzi in room. Single window. Overall a quaint stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. No major complaints. Lots of parking. Happy eating and staying!

This review is for the Inn, drinks in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant. Got to the Inn on a Wednesday two hours before check in. They made sure our room was ready and let us check in early. I understand with staffing shortages that wouldn't always be possible but this rainy day, it sure was nice. We loved our room with the wide open look. Clean, neat and really good coffee. After touring Door County, we arrived back at the Inn about 8:00 and headed to the bar. Bartender woman was very hospitable, drinks were reasonable and people were convivial. She even let us stay a bit beyond closing. Breakfast was part of the deal so our omelet chef cooked up some fine eggs and we got a head start to begin shopping, heading to the Pro Shop at Lambeau Field. We had two rooms, all the rooms have queen sized bed. We'll be back!

Overall the experience was good. The service was good and the Guinness was flowing. The temp of the food was okay but not great. Some was warm but not hot. The fish was very good. I was surprised at how small it seemed but honestly the prices weren't high. As a result I think it was very good. I would get it again. The sticky pudding was very good. I ate all of it. It didn't look spectacular but put together it worked very well. I will say I was disappointed that they didn't have the chicken appetizer with guinness bbq anymore. I hope they get to bringing specials back.

Food was delicious and surprisingly well priced. Gives off a very old beautiful aesthetic. Shepherds Pie was probably the table fave

Ambiance was amazing and the pot roast sandwich was excellent. Next time I am in Green Bay I will be making a point to dine there again.

Always a good place for a beer and maybe a snack or dinner! Very different that most other restaurants in the area and very mellow.

Took a chance and were very pleased that we did. The pub was pretty well full with locals for Cinco de Mayo but had no issues with getting a table. Their pub reminded us of our trip to Britain and Ireland last summer and all of the pubs we visited there. What a fantastic atmosphere and our server Jack couldn't have taken better care of us from start to finish. Thanks Jack! The food was outstanding and the beer was up to British standards. Unfortunately (not really) I had to indulge in a final Guinness at the bar while waiting for our Uber to arrive. Suffice it to say the barkeep was just as personable as Jack. If you're ever on Sturgeon Bay this is an establishment that you should not miss. Cheers lads and lasses.

The server highly recommended the mahi tacos so I went with that. My dining companion opted for the grilled club and I was so impressed with the thick cut slices of all of the ingredients and the quality of the sandwich like years ago. It was a little on the salty side, but I guess that's to be expected for deli meats. Then the mashed potatoes were real potatoes! That seems to be a thing of the past at a lot of establishments. Service was super attentive and friendly and made some great recommendations. I love the decor which was a super fun Irish vibe as well. Outdoor seating and a beer garden on those warmer days. With plenty of parking. I would love to go back and try more items.
