Really good takeout pizza. It was a Monday night and apparently local joints are all closed on Monday, so we were desperate to find any restaurant and even more delighted to be able to get something to go. Ordered a medium italian w/mushrooms (like a cowboy) for something around $20. A little pricey, but easy, good, and quick so no complaints. The garlic rolls are SUPER tasty and their pizza is quite good. I've been to the Toledo location several times and only once to their newer, Newport location. Not sure how someone rated it 1-star, that's just nutty. It's really good food. There's no need for a dipping sauce - dipping sauce is for flavorless pizza that sucks (Papa Johns, etc.) and the garlic rolls are slathered in Parmesan and oil and they're piping hot. read more

I stopped here for a late lunch on Saturday, and was thrilled to see they had lunch specials even on weekends. I really liked their setup. You order up front at the counter, then sit down at a table. When the food is ready, a staff person will bring the food out to you, which also cuts out the necessity of tipping a waiter. My husband got a dozen buffalo wings for 8.50, a good deal by any standard, and thought they were pretty good, if a bit soggy. I had the pizza special, which was a 1 topping pizza and two drinks for $10. They didn't skimp on toppings, either - my pizza was COVERED in pepperoni. We were both very full by the end of the meal, and for only $18.50. One thing to mention is that if you come here, definitely pull in via 19th Street, not 20th. Although the parking lot cuts through to both streets, there is a HUGE speedbump meant to prevent people from cutting through the parking lot to 20th (where there's a traffic light to turn onto 101), and I bottomed out on it going less than 5 mph. read more

The salad was fresh but pretty plain, not a big deal given it was a side salad, the spaghetti and meatballs was a smaller than anticipated given the price. The crust was cooked well and had great texture... Almost pretzel-like. Exceptionally good. However, we waited nearly an hour for a 14 in pizza. I have never considered leaving behind my food and money and we almost did it. One of my kids asked if it was worth the hour wait - because we all agreed it was good. I said this, there is no pizza worth waiting an hour for. I still feel this way. The gal who worked there asked me if we enjoyed our meal and asked what I thought of the pizza. I was honest and said it was excellent but that I have never waited an hour for a pizza before. She said that the dinner rush is just like that. And a 2 hour wait is not uncommon. Had I known this I would not have made my family what so long. There was only a family of five and a party of 8 (which already had they food when we came in) inside. I presume they many delivery orders. They only have a few take outs when we were there. Bottom-line... If you have unlimited time for food. Stop by. The pizza is good. If you want to order ahead go for it. But it you need to be able to drop in and eat and go so you can enjoy the rest for you fun filled evening... Made it to Newport kinda late for dinner. Called Cobblestone and ordered a large pizza and Itilian salad. Person taking the order was very nice and helpful. Delivery was prompt and courteous. The salad was huge with ham, peparoni, extra salad dressing and vegies. They brought paper plates, napkins and plastic utensils. The pizza was big and well covered with toppings ! I went here due to the hype from the reviews. I was honest unimpressed. They took double the time they said it would take. The crust is flavorless and is limp under all the toppings. The sauce lacks seasoning and tastes like it came from a can. I had hoped the cinnamon bites would be good but it looked like balls of dough with hardly any cinnamon on them. Yummy pizza! Had one that came with the works: pepperoni, salami, Italian sausage, onion, black olives, and mushrooms. They nicely swapped the black olives and mushrooms for pineapple so we appreciated that. We usually have thin crust so forgot to ask about that option but we both scarfed down almost the whole pizza. The dough is delicious and thick but light and airy. The sauce was tasty and just the right amount. We really enjoyed it. We also ordered wings and my boyfriend seemed to enjoy them. Spent two nights in Newport at the Elizabeth Street Inn, and for our last night my girlfriend and I were tired of seafood and just wanted to stay in our hotel. We searched Pizza Places and saw that this was rated one of the better places. We ordered the garlic rolls, and a large pizza (half pepperoni/jalepeno, half pesto). The pizza was delicious. Being a college student, I know my pizza and this was one the best. The crust was amazing and the veggis on the pizza were big and fresh! So good! The garlic rolls like everyone says were amazing (they did forget to include the dipping sauce) but they were delicious without it. Highly recommend this place.
