Excellent view with a beach vibe! Stopped by for lunch and got a window seat, gorgeous views! Clam chowder to start - thick and creamy with clams and potatoes. Add some black pepper to the top for a perfect bite. Oyster crackers have a great crunch. Halibut Fish & Chips - 2 nice sized pieces, a little too much breading for my taste. Fries were delish - crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Needed a little coleslaw or some other freshness to make it perfect. Lots of parking and quick service.

One of our favorite stops in Newport. Why? Basil Hayden Old fashioned, muddled cherrys, good simple syrup, well done. Barrata salad, nice pesto over some local tomatoes, arugula, balsamic, mozzarella, delicious. Garlic chunk of cheese bread & surprisingly good marinara sauce. Clam chowder, hot, rich, thick, get some. Calimari, rings only, lightly breaded, good, spicy aioli. Great service & beautiful views. Dinner reservation recommended,we eat at one of the high top tables, walk in at the bar.

We had a nice visit back in May 2024. I enjoyed the water view from our table, the clam chowder, and the burrata salad. My husband has several food allergies and was able to get their salmon with rice and veggies. It was very simple but as long as we can get him a full meal we're happy. I think it was a bit more expensive than some other restaurants we visited but we expected that when we walked in (and it is nice to enjoy a view with our meal on occasion, even if the food costs a bit more).

This one was a little bit of a let down. I saw raving reviews on Google and pretty good ones on yelp and as my wife and I were staying at the Hallmark Resort, it was nice to just walk over. I ordered the chicken fried steak and pancakes. Pancakes overall were pretty decent! Fake maple syrup so if you are sensitive to that as I am. Be aware. The chicken fried steak was very disappointing. The beef had a very weird off flavor. I couldn't finish it. The breading was not crispy and the gravy was pretty bland. For such an expensive dish I expected much better. The restaurant does have great views and the service is ok. Friendly enough, but as we left the staff didn't say anything to us like have a good day or bye, which for such a nice place I'd expect something. We probably won't be back. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it was way too expensive for something so disappointing . Also ever since that fried steak I have had serious stomach problems. I'm wondering if it was bad.

We always enjoy the food and vibe here, whether takeout or room service! Dining in is a great experience though, very warm and comforting dining space with great ocean views. Great menu selection, and the kids menu comes with a special Georgie's buck to get a prize after their meal! The appetizers are great, we always enjoy the fondue, and the fried zucchini! The service is wonderful and everyone is so kind. I do recommend making reservations ahead of time. It's well worth checking out if in Newport, especially if you're staying at the Hallmark resort!

Oh my goodness best ahi I have ever eaten! My husband felt the same about the Diablo pasta. What a chef!!! Just go!

We had great dinners, ahi and salmon were great. Breakfasts were ok. No whole wheat toast and bring your own water. Eggs Benedict was ok. Convenient but not outstanding

Beautiful ambiance, ocean view, amazing food, service was great! Wait time is 40-50 minutes on a weekend.

We rolled into town, tired, and hungry, but also wanting of view of the ocean. Georgie's look like the best spot to check the boxes. Our waitress was very attentive, I'm going to guess very seasoned in this role, so our service was outstanding. My mother had the Ahi on special. The picture does not do justice for how delicious this was. I'm thankful she let me have a couple bites because it left me wishing I would have selected that dish. But mine came in a close second with the Parmesan crusted halibut. Perfectly cooked, well seasoned, I ate every bite. Prices are reasonable.

This should be higher because the ambiance is great. But the stuffed chicken breast with cheese and spinach was inedible. And vegetables with the under cooked broccoli and carrots all had to be left unfinished. Only the baked potato was the star. The thin chicken shell didn't taste like fresh moist chicken. My Halibut fish n chips was fine for processed halibut into a matching shape for each, there were 3. Definitely not a filet and didn't smell like anything. No seafood scent like you might get from shrimp. Indistinguishable from cod or halibut or the fish from the Clown House. oh, Remember , the chives for your baked potato is an extra dollar per plate. So in her favor , the waitress did comp the unfinished chicken meal. That was fair. She said it was a popular chicken dish and not wanting it was so hard to understand. Well, That was a big disappointment for us.

Besides the view the food is exceptionally fresh and delicious, I ordered the New Seafood platter so I could try a lot of different items on the menu. The chilled Dungeness crab was very good and tasty. No need to add anything! The fresh shucked oysters were tasty and fresh and clean. The crab dip was exceptionally good with chucks of crab meat to eat with the fried won ton chips & crackers. The ceviche was okay and also the spicy shrimp salad. The clam chowder was very good and flavorful and it was okay on the thicker side, came out nice and hot not warm. My wife had the Halibut & garlic fries which the French fries were very tasty and crispy and the halibut was great with a lightly breaded batter. Service was great and waiter was friendly Restroom they have 1 on the 1st floor and another one on the 2nd floor to be shared by both men & women. Restroom was clean only thing with the amount of customers they can accommodate you most likely have to wait to use the restroom. Entrance is about 4 steps to enter with hand rail on one side, did not see a wheelchair accessible ramp. Pets are allowed. We saw couple of retrievers seating outside with their owners.
