On a drive from Florida to Michigan, our 2022 Telluride intermittently was overheating. We managed to drop it off to Complete Automotive Repair, and then got a rental for our Michigan destination and return to Lexington. The Complete Automotive team pressure-tested for leaks, checked all hoses and clamps, and diagnosed that the water pump had failed. The repair was done excellently and we were relieved that the cost was reasonable. My husband and I highly recommend this company. Their professionalism and kindness were exceptional.

Though 5-Star couldn't give my an approximate price over the phone, they were the only ones who would squeeze me in the same day. Everyone here was really friendly. 5-Star said all I really needed right now was my breaks and rotors; and they said the belt was fine. What a relief! I was happy to find out they didn't try to buy other stuff for my vehicle. They did tho, give an extra paper filled with suggestions for future car repairs. I thought that was really kind to give us a heads up; and that they didn't say that we needed it all right now. Anyway, being about 7 mins from my house and living in Lexington for over 3 years, I had yet to find a repair shop that I just loved. I will be coming back again for all of my repairs!!! I arrived at 8am and Ellen (who made the appointment) told me she had me down for 10am. My husband picked me up. At 2pm, I called to check progress on my car and she told me she would check & call me back. I didn't get a call so I called back @3pm and same person told me that it was finished but the "supervisor" needed to check it. My husband dropped me off and it took a half hour to get the bill. I ask her why I had not been notified about appointment change and she didn't respond, no apology was given (my husband heard the conversation when I made the appointment and was told 8am) . With oil change and battery testing they charged $92.68 with $25.00 of that being for battery testing. I had used 5 Star several times over the years with good results but not this time and never again.

I would give this place less than 1 star…read more Documentation from all repair shops mentioned below can verify the following information. 1 - 02/2024 - I visited E/P on Boston Road to have my thermostat replaced - cost $400. 2 - 04/2024, I heard a rattle from the engine compartment. I took it to another repair shop who told me 'the bolts used to put the thermostat back on was the wrong size, were forced into the screw openings, & the internal threads for the screw hole had been stripped [I never thought impact wrenches were THAT strong]. The only place that touched anything regarding my heating system was E/P on Boston Road. 3 - I took the car back to E/P, showed them the results from the other repair shop, and spent significant time convincing them the work they had done on 02/224 was done incorrectly. As a result, E/P agreed to fix the problem for free. 4 - Flash forward to 12/2024; the heat quit blowing in my car again. I took it to another repair shop and was informed of the following: the last person who fixed the heating system did it wrong; they put in a thermostat that was WAY too small; the bolts to secure the thermostat was the wrong size, & all bolts were forced into the screw hole, and as a result, most of my heating system needs to be replaced [sans the heater coil]. 5 - When I informed the new repair shop of the work & then re-worked my car by E/P when I returned in 02/2024, they had only replaced ONE of the faulty-sized bolts. All four should have been replaced if all bolts had been forced into the wrong opening. E/P did not replace the other three that were too small & the incorrect size when I made them do a re-work in 04/2024. A $400 repair has now cost me close to $2,000. The new repair shop could forensically trace the problems back to the originating install. This significant financial impact should serve as a cautionary tale for potential customers. Given the information above, the decision is in your hands. Choose wisely, and good luck.

(debatable).... It took forever, & cost a small fortune.... Finally get it back & a few months later it starts this horrible whine. They have now had it over 5 WEEKS for warranty repair!!! Still nothing, They haven't called me once, I've called about once a week...Lame excuses every time. Anybody else dealt with this company???? Maybe contacting an attorney will help....

I love my car - a Mercedes GL 550; despite it being 12 years old it still looks like new. I spent two months shopping for a new to me car - and just couldn't bring myself to spend a lot of money for a vehicle that I didn't like or want. It had never occurred to me to fix the transmission, but I thought I would just try it. I am so pleased - my car drives like new - and I spent a mere fraction of what I would have on a new to me car... Yes, it took two weeks to rebuild the transmission - again at a fraction of the price to buy a new transmission or a new car. Quality work takes time, but it was well worth it. I would write more but am going for a drive...

I practically had to beg Nick, the owner of Mechanic Masters to take my daughter's 2008 Buick…read moreLaCrosse in to check several things that I had been told was wrong with it. He kept putting me off, saying he was 2 weeks behind. Finally he agreed to let me bring it on May 1, 2023. I called that morning and he wasn't in until 9 am. He called me back & said he was running behind could I wait till Wednesday & bring it. I did. Never heard a work so 5/19/23 I called to get status. His 'story' was he couldn't get parts, they were on backorder. Only parts needed were Power steering pump lines that were rotted and leaking and a transmission seal. I told him there are Internet websites where you can order parts. He says "yeah I know but they're on back order" (??). He was lying to me. I can tell when somebody is not being honest with me. So I had to go June 5th to get registration from glove box so I could send in the tax & license renewal. He still hadn't touched it. The glove box was messed up, not opening/closing right and covered in greasy hand/finger prints. I told him we really needed the car as both of us were sick and had so many appointments. He said the parts may be there on Wednesday. Surprisingly, he called me on Tues and said we could pick up the car. I went over the several things he had said was wrong and he said he had fixed all them. I picked the car up & he only charged $120. I asked him about the Glove Box not working right,, to which he replied " I don't know anything about the glove box, I was under the hood. The receipt he printed out said "repair transmission seal"...that's all. Got home and daughter noticed some serious scratches on the hood that was not there when we took it in. The entire time I worked with him on this car -over a month- he was rude, had an attitude and treated me like trash. It's like my money wasn't as good as somebody elses. I will never use him again and will tell everybody I know about his shoddy work and pissy attitude. He needs to hire somebody with a personality to manage his business and he needs to keep his head under somebody else's hood.
