This place is absolutely beautiful! It's right in the Seven Mile beach strip! You can sit, drink, eat, and look at the blue ocean! We came here twice during our vacation! We went specifically for the pina coladas, and they did not disappoint! They were strong and creamy! It was frozen so it was perfect for the warm weather! The staff was great, they were happy, but didn't come by too much. There is a parking lot close by if you do not stay at the hotel, so no problems parking. My only concern, and the reason for giving it 4 stars was the food portion. We did order food for dinner one day, and the portions were extremely tiny. Especially for the price. I would say come here for the drinks, and go elsewhere for the food. If I ever come back to Cayman Island. I will come back here for sure!

Really nice bar with delicious drinks and solid food. We shared the painkiller for 2 which was more of a frozen pineapple slushie in a pineapple. Definitely recommend! The chips and salsa and shrimp tacos were pretty good but you should definitely ask for a side of their hot sauce with them! The tofu entree was good too.

Shrimp Tostadas and a Pina Colada (that as my wife discovered can indeed come with an extra shot of rum!).

We do not like Pina Coladas. We never have. Having said that, the Pina Coladas at Coccoloba have changed our lives. We still do not order them anywhere else, but we will look forward to (dream about) them all year long until we can return and have one here. I would also highly recommend their Shrimp Tostadas. They pair nicely. We've never had a bad dish here, but the Pina Coladas and Shrimp Tostadas are our go to for lunch when on the beach or a sunset dinner at the restaurant. Service is friendly and quick. Cannot. Go. Wrong.

Phenomenal tacos on the beach! We loved the tacos with grilled octopus, also the shrimp and the chicken tinga! My wife loved the grilled tuna & Mexican rice (it was incredible, I had to try it)! Slight heads up...on Taco Tuesday, they are busy and have to manage the demand via a limited yet delicious menu

Amazing view, tasty dishes, impeccable service, lovely weather, outstanding honeymoon. Our stay here with the room, view and weather has nothing but spectacular. This place offers take out for the beach for food and drinks even if you don't stay here.

This is the view from our seats.

Manager was super nice cause we showed up early (15 minutes) while they were having a meeting and he we was very nice to seat us and give us menus and took our drink orders. Beverly came over to check on us and introduced herself after our meals were served. Seems like a lot of team work was going on here and everyone was very friendly. We were in and out in 30 minutes and fully satisfied with not much food left behind between the 4 of us. We ordered chips and salsa to start which came with 3 different salsas. . I ordered the ceviche and they ordered fish tacos, elote and a chicken quesadilla. Everyone loved their orders and I tried some of each of ours which were outstanding! My ceviche was very delicious. I would go back for more but too many more places to try while here! We are so glad we tried this restaurant on the beach! The salsas were very good too!

One of the BEST spots to eat on seven mile beach (maybe in the entire area). The food was amazing, the drinks were perfect, and the view was mind blowing ! Parking: We had issues parking at other restaurants but not here ! They have a huge parking lot available (which I assume is for the hotel as well as the restaurant). Location: The restaurant is behind the hotel, right on the beach. It is actually on 7 mile beach so if you're going for a beach stroll, you could stop here for a drink or snack. I loved that there were well lit (but not over powering) walkways to the hotel and parking lot in the evening. Seating: We opted for a beach table which was right on the sand - it's the closest spot to the water. I assume it could be a bit loud mid-day at this spot, but as the sun was going down most of the beach goers had left so it was a lovely quiet and intimate setting. Each beach table had its own umbrella and table lamp as well. There's also interior and patio seating, as well as bar seating. Food/drink: Our waitress said they're known for their Pina coladas and margaritas, so we opted for the Pina coladas. They were definitely the right choice! You can get a Virginia one as well. All the food was delicious- great mexican/Spanish flare but also a lot of seafood options which is just what we wanted ! I went with the fish tacos and they were perfection! It wasn't on the menu, but you can also order guacamole with your salsa appetizer (which we did). Service: The service was great! Our waitress was very sweet and had a lot of recommendations for us. One day when we walked by, they had a mariachi band playing. That was neat and we were a bit sad they weren't there the day we ate there. Overall, this place was just what I imagined when i thought of beach front dining. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Another Kimpton Seafire restaurant, right by the beach. You can literally pull up a chair facing the ocean. We have ate here a couple time, its super convenient. We have been happy with the food and the service. The best tacos are the pork, hands down. We've had them all. They can accommodate Gluten Free on all the tacos except the Pork, which is a bummer for Celiacs. The second best thing was the Shrimp roll, which was on a hogie. Different topping to the shrimp tacos, and was actually better. For chips and salsa, we had fried plantains in lue of tortilla chips which were cross contaminated. I would actually recommend these!

We loved Coccoloba Grand Cayman!! We ordered the Painkillah 30 and YOU SHOULD TOO!! Gorgeous beach and AWESOME experience! Wow.

Coccoloba was SO MUCH FUN!! Beautiful beach views ~ Awesome staff ~ Great food!! If you're visiting Grand Cayman ~ don't miss Coccoloba!

This is one of the few restaurants on 7 Mile Beach with expansive beachfront with access to the sand; there are so many seats with ocean view and tables on the sand. Also you can go swim and come back to the restaurant and eat. This is also great for kids because of that reason. Drinks and food are great! And absolutely beautiful views!!! The highlight is the service. Big shout out to Paula and Arpi! We got engaged here, which was a complete surprise, and all the staff were instrumental in taking pictures, getting footage and just making it perfect! We dined here many times throughout our trip!

Located behind the Kimpton, Coccoloba offers a great view of the ocean and is a perfect place to catch the sunset. A more casual, laid back beach feel. Light and airy. We are in the palapa area though it seems there's an indoor dining option as well. Started off with the spicy Margarita (mezcal) which came in a skull tiki-style mug. Kitschy but apropos. The drink was, indeed, nicely spicy with smokey, vegetal notes. We started with a ceviche which was fine. The highlight is that we were able to get some of the chicharron; a dish they apparently and deservedly are well-known for! (Normally available for the after 6p dinner menu, we were lucky to get it a few minutes early). It's a fairly big serving. The rinds are light and fluffy, not burdened by too much oil, with a very slight hint of garlic. Served with a soy sauce-based dipping sauce which was good and interesting but not necessary for you to wallow in the porky goodness of the rinds! Wife had fish tacos while I opted for the shrimp tostones. Mine came in little "boats" that tasted mildly fried? The shrimp was juicy and fresh-tasting. Came here also for the sunset which was fantastic. As evening arrived, so did the bugs. It wasn't like you were wading around in the Congo or anything but they were noticeable. If you're coming after sunset, bring bug spray or maybe opt for indoor seating. Pro tip: we took this bus up here from the Marriott region. When you leave, CHECK GOOGLE MAPS and make sure you cut back to West Bay Road!! We accidentally wandered onto the HIGHWAY and defied death by walking for about a mile before realizing our mistake (the high speed of traffic and dearth of buses was a big clue), correcting and making our way back to WB Rd. Or better yet, splurge and grab a cab. Sunsets and chicharron for life!

This is my most favorite restaurant on the island. I loved it so much I got dinner there two days in a row during my four night visit. The location and view is so beautiful, the vibes are immaculate, the service is amazing, and the food and drinks are seriously to die for. Can't recommend it enough!

Their Japanese whisky selection is impressive, and every cocktail we tried was fantastic. For sushi, we ordered: 1. Nobu Roll (yes, with black cod--hold the mayo) 2. Alaskan Roll (salmon... with more salmon ) 3. And the standout recommendation from our amazing server: hamachi sashimi. It was ridiculously fresh, it was caught locally, and you could absolutely taste the difference. Then came dessert, which is almost never a thing for me. The Pizookie is a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie served in a skillet, baked super thin so it's crispy around the edges with a perfectly chewy center. They top it with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and sprinkle on peanuts (worth noting if you have an allergy). Hot. Cold. Crispy. Gooey. Shut the front door. It was incredible. 5 stars from me. And if you're one of those people who orders what I lovingly call "sushi chicken nuggets" (anything fried in a sushi roll ), don't worry, they've got plenty of those too.

Not sure why they were hesitant. There are tarpons that they feed in the water which was cool. The food was good, probably 4/5 stars. The ceviche was delicious but perhaps a little too sweet for me. I enjoyed the conch soup but it honestly just tasted like a beef soup I did not get conch flavor. The lobster bisque was only okay. The mains were the star, with the fresh catch of the day being perfectly prepared and the sides being on point. Where they really lost me was the service. We got water initially and did not get more until after we got the check. We would have ordered more cocktails or dessert but it just took way too long. Food came out quickly so I don't think it was the kitchen. We had to flag down someone to get the check and then we ended up paying in cash as it took over 15 min for them to come back to let us pay. While waiting for our entrees they did do a call for kids to wash them feed the fish which my kids seemed to enjoy. They couldn't get over how big the fish were. We started with the coconut shrimp and escargot (kids first time trying escargot and not fans). For the main entrees all 3 kids got the junior lobster from the kids menu, which was a great deal. I was jealous of it myself! I ordered the seafood penne which was quite large so my kids polished it off after their Junior lobsters. My husband got the Cayman trio (lobster, shrimp and mahi mahi). I ate half of his lobster which was sooo good. Dessert was 2 key lime pies for our party of 5- the perfect ending to a delicious meal!

He made choosing from the menu a little easier, though that's no small task when every dish sounds better than the last. The cocktails were outstanding. Don't overthink it, just order one (or two). The house bread comes with Johnny Cakes, and they absolutely deserve the hype. They're somehow the perfect cross between cornbread and a beignet, dense, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. Pace yourself... both literally and figuratively. For appetizers, we had: * Ceviche of the Day - Wahoo when we visited, and incredibly fresh. * Tuna Tartare - This was exceptional.
