The Pizookie is a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie served in a skillet, baked super thin so it's crispy around the edges with a perfectly chewy center. They top it with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and sprinkle on peanuts (worth noting if you have an allergy). Hot. Cold. Crispy. Gooey. Shut the front door. It was incredible. 5 stars from me. Even the rice was off, adding nothing to salvage the plate. These are foundational dishes in Caribbean cuisine. Pace yourself... both literally and figuratively. For appetizers, we had: * Ceviche of the Day - Wahoo when we visited, and incredibly fresh. * Tuna Tartare - This was exceptional. The sauce alone is worth writing home about, grab a spoon because you won't want to leave a drop behind. For our entrées, we both chose the Catch of the Day. My husband ordered the wahoo cooked medium-rare, while I had the grouper. Both were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. We couldn't leave without dessert, so we ordered the Coco Taco. I couldn't even tell you everything that's in it, but if you love chocolate, this dessert is pure happiness with layer upon layer of chocolatey goodness. We never eat dessert but tried the apple, it was a beautiful white chocolate green apple, with an apple, cream, crumble filling. Beautiful and tasty! Definitely worth a visit!
