This place is rated the #3 sushi spot in the area, and honestly... I'm not sure why. It deserves to…read morebe higher. The drinks are stellar. Ramon, the bartender, absolutely has it dialed in. Their Japanese whisky selection is impressive, and every cocktail we tried was fantastic. For sushi, we ordered: 1. Nobu Roll (yes, with black cod--hold the mayo) 2. Alaskan Roll (salmon... with more salmon ) 3. And the standout recommendation from our amazing server: hamachi sashimi. It was ridiculously fresh, it was caught locally, and you could absolutely taste the difference. Then came dessert, which is almost never a thing for me. The Pizookie is a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie served in a skillet, baked super thin so it's crispy around the edges with a perfectly chewy center. They top it with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and sprinkle on peanuts (worth noting if you have an allergy). Hot. Cold. Crispy. Gooey. Shut the front door. It was incredible. 5 stars from me. And if you're one of those people who orders what I lovingly call "sushi chicken nuggets" (anything fried in a sushi roll ), don't worry, they've got plenty of those too.

Basically a low top table where you sit on a pillowed floor and your feet on the floor. Service is quick and drinks are brought straight away. The servers that come to your table to serve or clear away spent plates are all friendly. The ambience is decidedly upscale and Oriental in feel. Warm mix of open ceiling and woods offers a relaxing experience. Food is both straight up fresh sushi and fusion plates served perfectly hot or cold. Prices are what you might expect for resort pricing while on vacation.

Not sure why they were hesitant. There are tarpons that they feed in the water which was cool. The food was good, probably 4/5 stars. The ceviche was delicious but perhaps a little too sweet for me. I enjoyed the conch soup but it honestly just tasted like a beef soup I did not get conch flavor. The lobster bisque was only okay. The mains were the star, with the fresh catch of the day being perfectly prepared and the sides being on point. Where they really lost me was the service. We got water initially and did not get more until after we got the check. We would have ordered more cocktails or dessert but it just took way too long. Food came out quickly so I don't think it was the kitchen. We had to flag down someone to get the check and then we ended up paying in cash as it took over 15 min for them to come back to let us pay. I would not come back. The food was good but did not make up for the service unfortunately.

I was worried it may not be good if they had availability over the busy winter break, but the reviews were positive. And my youngest loves nothing more than lobster. We were seating on their lovely outdoor area overlooking the water. The service was a little on the slow side and it took our waitress awhile to take our order, but we found that Caribbean time moves a little slower than what we are used to...and that's fine by me while on vacation. While waiting for our entrees they did do a call for kids to wash them feed the fish which my kids seemed to enjoy. They couldn't get over how big the fish were. We started with the coconut shrimp and escargot (kids first time trying escargot and not fans). For the main entrees all 3 kids got the junior lobster from the kids menu, which was a great deal. I was jealous of it myself! I ordered the seafood penne which was quite large so my kids polished it off after their Junior lobsters. My husband got the Cayman trio (lobster, shrimp and mahi mahi). I ate half of his lobster which was sooo good. Dessert was 2 key lime pies for our party of 5- the perfect ending to a delicious meal!

Definitely make a reservation! Our table (#46) was waiting for us when we arrived, and Michael took wonderful care of us all evening. He made choosing from the menu a little easier, though that's no small task when every dish sounds better than the last. The cocktails were outstanding. Don't overthink it, just order one (or two). The house bread comes with Johnny Cakes, and they absolutely deserve the hype. They're somehow the perfect cross between cornbread and a beignet, dense, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. Pace yourself... both literally and figuratively. For appetizers, we had: * Ceviche of the Day - Wahoo when we visited, and incredibly fresh. * Tuna Tartare - This was exceptional. The sauce alone is worth writing home about, grab a spoon because you won't want to leave a drop behind. For our entrées, we both chose the Catch of the Day. My husband ordered the wahoo cooked medium-rare, while I had the grouper. Both were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. We couldn't leave without dessert, so we ordered the Coco Taco. I couldn't even tell you everything that's in it, but if you love chocolate, this dessert is pure happiness with layer upon layer of chocolatey goodness. Cracked Conch was the perfect way to end an amazing Grand Cayman vacation. The stunning setting, excellent service, and memorable food made it one of our favorite meals of the trip. Be sure to add it to your Grand Cayman itinerary!

There is live music, at least the Saturday night we were there, lovely background music. As for the food, I have not had a bad bite. It's the Cracked Conch, so you have to try conch. We had the ceviche, which was delicious, light and refreshing. For mains, my husband had the fish special, a tuna, cooked rare, spiced perfectly. I had the crab cakes, lightly fried, and delicious. We never eat dessert but tried the apple, it was a beautiful white chocolate green apple, with an apple, cream, crumble filling. Beautiful and tasty! Definitely worth a visit!
