Today was finally the day that I was in the area, realized they were open and decided to give it a try. Let's just say...I'm still drinking my milkshake while I write this review (something I never do). I got the birthday cake milkshake for myself and cookies and cream for my daughter. The sweet lady who took my ordered asked me how far I was driving to determine how thick to make the shakes. I appreciate that so much because by the time I reached my parents house they were absolutely PERFECT!!! My daughter agreed that her milkshake is very good as well! The staff were super nice and I greeted when I entered/left. Which may not seem like a big deal but it was refreshing. I will definitely be returning. There is on street parking. They do accept both cash and debit/cards; however, they charge a $1.50 fee to use them. Can't wait to return later this week to try new flavors!

I asked if they allow samples (which is a very normal question) and unfortunately after my second sample, one of the employees responded with, "Are you gonna get anything?" with a clear attitude. It felt unnecessary and honestly uncomfortable. If you're charging premium prices for gelato, customers should be allowed to sample flavors before buying instead of being made to feel like a burden and blind buying. Sampling is part of the experience, especially when people are deciding what they want. I ended up feeling extremely uncomfortable and settled with a flavor that I didn't even try because I honestly did not like the ones that I did. What made it worse is that my friend independently noticed the same vibe from the staff afterward. She mentioned that the employees seemed annoyed helping and didn't seem welcoming at all. The gelato is mid (not smooth at all... grainy.. I've had store bought ice cream better than this) and the attitude and customer service completely ruined the experience for me. I've never been treated that way at an ice cream or gelato shop before. I do not know if they were racial profiling or being ageist (since my friend and I are Asian and look on the younger side compared to their usual customer population) because they seem to have good reviews on Yelp.
