While we were on the way to the bank to pick up the funds, my husband received a TEXT stating the truck was sold. This was not a miscommunication--it was a breach of trust and a clear indication of unethical business practices. At that point in time, everything was finalized and all we had to do was go to the dealership to pick up the truck. They were aware we had financing - they sent the agreement to our bank. Selling it out from under him shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. I strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this dealership. If integrity and transparency matter to you, I recommend looking elsewhere.

After inspection, the service technician clearly told us this was a pre-existing issue and nothing we could have done to prevent it. We are now facing nearly $6,000 in repairs just to get the vehicle operational again. Since then, I have attempted multiple times to contact the salesperson who sold us the vehicle, as well as customer service representatives, to discuss whether there are any goodwill options or assistance available. Each time I call, I am transferred to someone who is "not available," sent to voicemail, and none of my calls have been returned. If you want more proof of lack of response, just look at the reviews below. Funny you only see the owner comment on the few five stars they have, and non of the unfortunate people that deal with issues. If you are living paycheck to paycheck like most families, this is not a risk worth taking. When something goes wrong, you may (will) be left completely on your own. We are now trying to recover financially from a repair bill that will take months to pay off. We could not get our vehicle fixed at the location we bought it at, due to their inability to work on Volkswagens, makes you think they shouldn't be able to sell them at the Subaru location. I do want to recognize the team at Volkswagen of Green Bay, they have been honest, professional, and extremely helpful throughout this process. I would rate their service department 10/10. If you are considering a Bergstrom vehicle, I would recommend working directly through them rather than this Subaru location. At minimum, they answer their phones and communicate clearly. If you want to buy a certified used vehicle at Bergstrom Subaru, make sure you at least get the popcorn they offer you when doing your paperwork. At least you will get some bang for your buck. If you are a risk taker and want to take a risk on a used car, honestly use Craigslist, Ebay, or Temu, they all are more reliable than this place.
