This isn't the best mexican food I've had, so it's getting two stars from me. As a mexican food…read morelover, trust me, this isn't what you want. I ordered an Horchata, Strawberry juice, and two tortas (carnitas & ribeye). Honestly speaking, I would totally go back for just the strawberry juice because it was delicious, low on sugar, and I kept asking for more. The horchata was the same -- delicious. However, on the actual food, I was feeling rather melancholic. I literally live like 2 mins away from the food truck and when I got home the whole torta was soggy. Felt like it was dipped in water and when I ordered they made the torta for me. That made my visit here pretty somber because I was so hype for my tortas, but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles. Again, highly recommend the juices at this place, but the food... not so much.

Their tacos are one of my favorites in Tampa Bay…read more When I saw their food truck was going to be at the opening of Riverfront park, I knew immediately that I was going to eat there. I got to try them at the Yelper Party, but I needed to experience them in their element. The line was long, but they moved pretty fast. Unfortunately they were out of corn tortillas and were making more when I got to the front of the line, so I opted for flour instead of waiting. I've been eating A LOT of tacos in the past couple of weeks. Once I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes I needed to find a meal that consisted of the perfect amount of carbs and protein. It turns out two tacos is exactly what my body needs. (At Loli's I ordered three tacos, don't judge me but my blood sugar did almost hit the highest of the range I'm supposed to be in, so I've scaled back to two). I got a shrimp, a ribeye, and a cow tongue. Cow tongue might make you pause, but it is the most delicious meat I ate out of the three, and the other two weren't slobs. I promptly decided next time I will only order cow tongue until I looked up the nutritional aspect of the meat. Don't be me, don't look it up. I love fatty meats so I loved the cow tongue. All three meats were exceptional. Like I said, I've been eating many tacos and this surpasses all of them by far. If you see the Loli's food truck rolling up anywhere, do yourself a favor and stop to try it. Heck, I'd be tempted to follow it to its final destination if I see it driving down the street. It is just that good.

We did not know that walking in. They all looked at us like what are you doing here? My husband even said is this a restaurant? So we asked for a menu - which is a QR code. Yes- they have food. We decided to sit at the bar and at least have a drink. It was early so no a lot of people. Everyone seemed confused as to how things worked. Most employees spoke Spanish and we do not. A bartender did speak English. He asked what we wanted and took our drink order. He was nice. We did end up getting food. Chips and salsa=$10! Other items were priced fairly. We asked for water and he claimed they only had bottles of still water=$4.50. But we saw someone else get a glass with ice/water at another table. Also be warned there is a "service fee" of 15% (for what I have no idea) and if you use a credit card 3% card fee. We searched on line to see what people said about this place and some other reviews on Google said they charge $10 to get in although we were not charged anything to come in. In the end the food was pretty good. Bottom line- this is a nightclub with an identity problem as they are trying to serve food as well and it just does not have a restaurant or bar&grill feel to it. We won't be back as not our scene, but also wish them well with the clients they really are trying to attract.

It was open for business, but there was only one other group of two in there with us-and only one server-who was also the bartender. It was a little odd. I'm sure this place is popping at night. Our server (who was chatty at the end-businesslike before) told us there's karaoke on Friday nights and a DJ on Saturdays. I'll definitely bring the friends back for that. The drink menu is large-it would be a fun night spot. I'm just not sure I'd come back for a weekday lunch. That's not the food's fault, though. I had chicken enchiladas verde (very nice) with some of the best Mexican rice I've ever had. The margarita was also good. You can tell this restaurant has been around awhile-there are echoes of genres past, with different decor still lingering (the lighting, for example). But I love the murals outside, the bar surrounds, the signage by the stage area and the other Mexican touches. I also really like the vintage windows-it's a nice nod to the past. And it's spotless in here-so clean-with lots of tables. I also thought the prices were fair. I hope they thrive!

I have eaten there several times and I am constantly amazed by the consistency of the dishes. This time I ordered the shrimp burrito, which comes with a side salad and fench fries. To say the dish was enormous is not to be believed. Delicious rice, shrimp and other burrito stuffing was incredible. The price cheaper than going with the large meal at a fast food place which offers no satisfaction after its eaten. Believe me I was satisfied. If your looking for a new taste of non Taco Bell type food but healthy fresh food this is your place. I will be back with my fork in hand.

Authentic Mexican food. Lots of flavour, good size portions and freshly made juices. We had the chicken burrito, shrimp tacos with corn tortilla shells and chile tatemados. Everything was fresh and didn't take long to come out the kitchen. We washed everything down with a horchata and a freshly squeezed pineapple juice. Both were so good! The size of the drinks are ridiculously huge! 20oz I believe, and well worth the price. Also......free refill with the juice! I actually asked the waitress how much for the to-go juice since we paid already and she said it's free! I don't know of any other place that gives you a free refill of homemade juice. Overall, the place was clean and nicely decorated, and we had a great meal for less than 40 dollars. The waitress was friendly and attentive and I just have to mention that the bathroom was immaculate! The huge TV on the outside patio looks like they have some epic gatherings in the evening And one more thing, they don't serve any kind of alcohol. We will definitely eat here again!
