The customer service was amazing from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with plenty of seating and a relaxing atmosphere. I was really excited to try the brown sugar latte because I had an incredible Vietnamese coffee while visiting Tennessee. Unfortunately, this one was a letdown. It tasted mostly like milk and syrup, with very little coffee flavor, and it was overwhelmingly sweet. I was disappointed because I had such high expectations. I also noticed they have a "no refunds" policy posted, so I didn't bother taking it back. Even though the drink wasn't for me, I'd still be willing to return to try their pho, as I've heard good things about it. It just won't be anytime soon.

This place is super cute! The service wasn't very welcoming from the cashier. Since it was our first time, I expected more engagement from the front end staff, however, while we were eating my a woman who appeared to be the manager/owner came over and engaged with us and asked how my daughter enjoyed her meal. The Pho was just okay. I had the veggie pho. My 8 year old daughter had the beef pho. She enjoyed hers but we've had better. She also had the boba tea which she didn't necessarily care for although she loves boba from most places we've visited. We want to go back to try more menu items.

I've been to Cocoa Bay before, and it was good, nothing spectacular, but decent enough to return. This visit, however, was more about the experience than the food, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good one. While waiting for my order, I noticed the staff (who seemed pretty young, not saying that negatively, just observationally) loudly talking about not getting tips. Loud enough for the whole place to hear. That was my first sign that the atmosphere might be off. When my order was ready, they didn't call out the item or confirm anything, they just said my name, tossed the tied-up bag on the counter, and walked away. I watched them call other orders properly with names and items, so the contrast stood out. Regardless of how good food may be, customer experience matters. I didn't ask for a manager because I've worked in management before, and I know staff behavior often reflects internal leadership and environment. Still, it's something worth noting: even for quick-service or takeout spots, courtesy and professionalism go a long way. This interaction felt dismissive and honestly off-putting. I'm not writing this to be harsh, just to be honest. This is why I prefer to tip in casHopefully it's something the team can improve on, because small interactions shape the whole experience.

Instant tasting spicy beef broth pho w/ shrimp

Was super excited to try this place out and easily spent $50 because the menu was so appealing. Ordered a strawberry matcha latte, salt and pepper wings, spring rolls and pho. The matcha was very light in taste, very watered down or either didn't use enough matcha. But it definitely had potential and I enjoyed the strawberry flavoring. The wings were nice and crispy, I wish I had picked one with a sauce though. These also had potential. The spring rolls were so basic. Good but basic, nothing alarming nothing standing out. The pho was the most disappointing bowl of pho I've ever had in my life. There was no indication of this being authentic pho made with beef bones. It almost tasted like dish water. The only thing saving the pho by any means was the fresh herbs and garnishes. I'm pretty sure this has to be an instant pho base but extremely watered down, hence the dish water taste or tap water taste. And I've never been anywhere that served instant pho, I mean you may as well buy the instant pho from the grocery store. I'm so disappointed. I paid about $19 alone for the pho as build your own with a spicy beef broth. Which for something tasting instant is way overpriced. My two year old didn't even complain about the spice so you know it was lackluster . If you visit here, I would recommend trying the teas, and appetizers but steer clear of the pho

It's an interesting find in the area. The drinks are delicious, particularly the peach mango smoothie. It's creamy and fruity with chunks of real fruit, absolutely addictive! The chicken bahn mi was also tasty and fresh. The wings are also crispy and flavorful. I'd definitely go back to try the pho. They also sell Asian snacks and sauces which is useful. The service was friendly as well.

I have been to this place a few times and never ordered Pho because I didn't want to be disappointed. And I was so disappointed: it looked like Pho, didn't smell like Pho; and it did not have that rich/deep/lingering Pho's flavors. Besides, the usual spices of hoisin, Sriracha (they had a Sriracha like hot sauce which was more sour), I added fish suace, Maggie sauce, for some flavors, it didn't help. And I didn't like that the thick Pho noodles were not used. However, the Saigon coffee was delicious! It was super rich, creamy, at 30% sweet it was perfect for me. I will go back for the coffee and the other dishes I had prior.

This spot offers drinks, food, and a variety of snacks. I ordered both food and a drink, and I really liked their self-serve iPad ordering system, super easy to use, and you seat yourself after they greet you. I got the beef pho combo, summer rolls, and a lychee-peach oolong tea. The pho was good. I consider myself a bit of a pho expert, so I pay attention to pho really close. This leaned toward good ingredients. I was hoping for tripe when ordering the beef pho combo, but it didn't come with any. The broth was light and simple, not heavy, and you could clearly taste the broth (not watered down) , meats, and veggies aka classic pho profile. The summer rolls were okay. They were fresh but could've used a bit more meat for the price. Thankfully, the dipping sauce made up for it. The boba tea was tasty, and both the portion size and price felt just right. Overall, the restaurant has a relaxed, chill atmosphere. I saw plenty of people enjoying their time. Whether you're in the mood for snacks, a full meal, or just a drink, this place has something for you.

First off, I was NOT expecting this cute of a place! It's so Modern and beautifully designed. We had the pho and it was really good! Even though the wings looked NOTHING like the ones on the menu. The flavor was really good too. They didn't charge extra for basil which is always appreciate. All and all, try them out! You can also purchase authentic snacks there too!

Such an adorable spot and a really nice addition to this community. As a vegetarian, it was always difficult for me to find options at the local restaurants. This menu boasts plenty of options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. They were very accommodating, friendly, and I had a wonderful time looking at their Asian goods for sale while waiting for my food. They have cute pens, charms, treats, and a huge variety of Buldak noodles. I got the tofu summer rolls and an iced oolong tea, healthy, fresh, and delicious! The owner walked around and thanked me for supporting his business - how wonderful.

This review is based on my experience today only , purchased a strawberry matcha latte, strawberry sky burst lemonade and mango fruit tea. My daughter had the strawberry lemonade, SUPER sweet, assuming it's coming from the jelly they add to the bottom. The ice is needed to help water it down. Son had the mango fruit tea, he said it wasn't very sweet, and most of the sweetness came from the popping boba he added. But he did like it. The strawberry matcha, I waited 30 mins for, somehow it was skipped over. I tasted a small hint of matcha, it was mainly milk and strawberry jelly. I would NOT recommend. I'm not sure if all drink have an optional sweetness but I know I was asked sweetness level when purchasing a Thai tea and it was helpful.

Yes!! I am so excited to see a solid Asian restaurant come to Waldorf. Coco Bay definitely fills a niche. The restaurant is clean and inviting. You order at the counter and then sit where ever you want. I brought my mom and we had a tasting dinner. We started with the Spicy Mango. The heat of the chili sauce was balanced perfectly by the ripe mango pieces and fresh cilantro. We then had delicious Fried Coconut Shrimp, followed by a Vegetarian Spring Roll (I think I would have preferred the Shrimp and Pork). The Shrimp Summer Roll was gummy and flavorless. We left half of those on the plate. We finished up with the delightful Bao Buns that were my favorite. I will be back and I'm coming with friends!

    Strawberry "matcha" latte
    Blair B.

Unfortunately I have high standards for matcha, so when I waited 15 minutes for terrible matcha it really upset me. The "matcha" latte was basically entirely milk & strawberry gelatinous goo. Barely any matcha in it at all. My tea came with no ice either when I only asked for light ice. So I got lukewarm tea & a cup of strawberry milk.

First impression review! I've been twice having placed an online order both times. Each time the food was ready on time in the pickup area. The first time with chicken pho was amazing! All the components are packaged separately so you can easily assemble and enjoy later. The soy garlic wings were good but heavy on the garlic so FYI. The second time I went, I tried the vegetable pho and a matcha latte. The vegetable mix is whichever assortment they have. The mix I had was cauliflower, mushroom, carrots, and broccoli. This wasn't my favorite combination, so I didn't enjoy it as much. With milk tea, I love being able to adjust sweetness, which you can't do as of now. The combinations all look great though! The decor is lovely and lively with customers. Overall, I'd try it again and other dishes. A 3.5 but rounding up for the efficiency and friendliness! Wishing them continued success.

The chicken wasn't nearly as crispy as I would have hoped and it's seasoning fell a little bit flat. The size of the tender was good though, which I appreciate. The sauces we got didn't compliment the tenders very well (maybe we got the wrong ones to go with the dry rub?) The waffle fries were the star of the show - crispy, hot, and exactly what you want out of waffle fries. And my goodness the toast left a lot to be desired; was hoping for much more than a plain piece of untoasted bread at the bottom of the combo box. If I return to Hangry Joe's, I would definitely try something different on the menu. The chicken tender combo I had left alot to be desired.

But I did not have a similar experience with this location in Waldorf. I shared a tender meal with some others one quiet Saturday evening. The tenders were flavored up nicely, but they came with dipping sauces that just really clashed with their dry rub. In my opinion, it should be an option of either or, not both. And the waffle fries had a sweetness to them that I was not expecting. They have waffle fries on their menu too, and it tasted like the batter got mixed up, which was weird. It was a savory, yet subtly sweet experience. And the toast was literally a slice of white bread that had some sauce dripping on it. It was not toasted, and really had nothing going for it. I guess the locations are definitely different in terms of quality, and I will just stick to the ones closer to me.

I placed an online carryout order scheduled for 1:19 PM and arrived around 1:30. Another customer was being assisted at the counter, so I patiently waited. A male employee came from the back and began calling names for carryout orders. Because I couldn't clearly hear one of the names, I politely asked him, "Excuse me, sir, do you have an order for Katrina?" I want to emphasize that I was speaking to the male employee distributing carryout orders, not the woman assisting the other customer. She nevertheless interjected, "When your order is ready, we'll call for you." I simply responded that my order was already ready. As I said this, the male employee retrieved my order from the rack and handed it to me. I took my food and began walking toward the exit. The woman told me to "have a nice day" in a tone I perceived as sarcastic. I nevertheless responded, "Thank you, you too," and continued leaving. She then added, "Please don't come back." Confused, I stopped and asked why. She accused me of previously coming into the restaurant and "doing the same thing"/causing problems. This is extremely important: this was only my SECOND time ever coming to this location for a carryout order. My first pickup was approximately three weeks earlier. I walked in, collected my food, and left within probably 30 seconds with no argument, complaint, or negative interaction. I had also never seen or interacted with this woman before. Because the history she described does not match my actual history at this restaurant, I believe she mistook me for another customer. I asked for her name or information for someone above her because I wanted to report the interaction. She refused and stated that she was the owner and that because Bonchon is a franchise, there was nobody above her to whom I could report the incident. I continued requesting management/corporate information, and she called the police. Because police had been called, I initially believed I should remain to speak with the responding officers. In hindsight, I should have waited outside. While waiting, I called my mother for advice. Another customer who witnessed the interaction independently approached me. I did not know this woman. She told me she believed the way I was treated was wrong and helped me locate information for reporting the incident. She later identified herself to police as a witness and described what she observed. The situation escalated after police had already been called. The woman repeatedly demanded that I leave, and we both raised our voices. During the confrontation, she told me to take my "ghetto sh!t outside" and that I was "going to jail." I did not call her names or curse at her. My mother ultimately told me to leave the restaurant and wait outside, which I did. The police arrived shortly afterward. The woman described me to them as "belligerent" and said she did not want me returning. I gave the officers my complete account, identification, and explained my very limited history at this restaurant. The independent customer also spoke with police as a witness. I was ultimately informed that I could no longer return. I will respect that instruction and have no intention of returning after this experience. What concerns me most is how this began. Before any argument occurred, before police were called, and before I remained inside requesting management information, I had received my food and was already walking out when I was told not to return. The explanation was that I supposedly had a history of causing problems there. I do not. I had never interacted with this woman before, and my only previous carryout pickup approximately three weeks earlier occurred without incident. I strongly believe I was mistaken for another customer. I hope someone above the restaurant level reviews this incident and, if available, surveillance footage from approximately 1:30 PM on August 18. I would also like any alleged previous incidents involving me reviewed because I maintain that no such history exists. The food at Bonchon is delicious, my order was ready on time, and the male employee who handed me my order was helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with management overshadowed all of that. What should have been a routine pickup resulted in accusations about conduct I did not recognize, a police call, and ultimately being banned from a restaurant where I had never previously caused a problem.
