General Tso Chicken & Pork Fried Rice
    Lucy M.

So NextDoor and Yelp highly rated this restaurant. Unfortunately, I don't agree with the high praise. All of the dishes lacked flavor and spice. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food but my husband is. His taste standards are pretty low and he did not enjoy the food from here which speaks volumes. I hate when a restaurant asks if you want "spicy" you mark it and add to the note : extra, extra spicy.... I mean shit they could added a lot of red pepper flakes, hot sauce or something! When it comes to "spicy" I am very bias.... I am West Indian/ caribbean decent so I love "SPICY"! The salt and pepper shrimp wasn't bad but I have had better. Sometimes when we read reviews from others... we should take into consideration our palettes aren't the same. I do appreciate the food not being salty. This place might be good for others but not us...

Food is always consistently good! Never had a problem with my order! I have gotten a number of things from there and I haven't missed on one. The ladies that work there are nice too!

Quick service. Delicious dish. I tried the Singapore noodle dish minus the pork. I also asked for it extra spicy. It was really good. I would definitely eat here again

So I recently stumbled into this location for a afternoon lunch with my guy! It is in a strip mall right off of 210 (Indian Head Highway)! It was virtually empty at lunch time but that didn't deter us! However,I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! It was very fresh and very tasty! I ordered the shrimp hibachi lunch special. It was very delicious! My guy ordered the general tso's lunch special and it was extremely good! I haven't eaten that in years and couldn't stop eating off his plate! It was delicious! We subsequently went back for round two one Saturday night and the place was jumping! It was borderline, crowded! So this place is no secret to the locals! Either way, the food was consistently good! Definitely added to a local Chinese spot for us in his neighborhood! However, the bathroom is only for paying patrons! And they don't play! They questioned a lady who was picking up her order after she asked to use the restroom.

I bought chicken and noodle soup, nothing to do with it, the soup is not good, it had no flavor, it had more noodles than chicken

The food was quite mushy and tasted a bit artificial at times. The service wasn't that good with the employees weren't that helpful.

Everything is always fresh and delish. When I don't feel like cooking this is my go to spot. Their salt and pepper shrimp is the best.

I was driving by and said to myself let me give this place a try. I ordered the triple delight it's supposed to have chicken shrimp beef. I felt like I was eating a frozen entree from the grocery store to be honest . First off my food was ready in less than five minutes. How can you cook shrimp chicken and beef in less than five minutes then the veggies um pretty sure there was something in there that I couldn't identify . Also they didn't ask me did I want any kind of sauce they just handed me a bag sealed and yelled my order number out and I figure it's pretty standard to get soy sauce and utensils atleast well not here buddy. I don't know but I just feel cheated and also I have had really bad gas since eating here like literally just laying In bed farting. So no I will never eat here again . I'm pretty sure Hong Kong has no affiliation with this carry out because it's terrible. I wouldn't order from here again with so many other carry out options . Plus it was almost 16 dollars and I get it I ordered a triple delight but bruh my meal was a triple fright -gas -no sauce-utensils-napkins -barely any meat but hey you live and you learn smh

Toi was well seasoned and slightly crunchy like I like it. It's sauce was genuine. It gets an "E" for excellent! The soup gets an "E" too. They used a chicken stock, not broth. Cooks know the difference and I am a cook. The dumplings were fried well, brown on one side and the pork filling was delicious. The pork fried frice was delicious. The rice was properly cooked with onions, bean sprouts, and fried egg. They made it the original way, no short cuts. The scallion patties were new to me. It was a little greasy and could have used a little seasoning. I heated them in the microwave on a paper towel and seasoned them with a little salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Then it was really good! I will make this restaurant my favorite Asian restaurant for now on because their flavor meets my own

While the menu is expansive, many of the dishes are very similar, i.e. they have the same brown sauce as a component. Nonetheless, all the dishes we have tried are good.
