I've been to quite a few hot pot, Korean BBQ, and sushi fusion spots but this one didn't really do it for me. The quality and overall taste of the food just weren't there. They do offer a solid variety of options which is a plus and the service was okay. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't enjoy it more but it just didn't meet my expectations compared to other similar spots.

All You Can Eat Hot Pot, Korean BBQ & Sushi? Say Less! @tpotwaldorf just opened in Waldorf MD and it's already making waves. We pulled up with empty stomachs and high expectations and let's just say, they delivered on every level. We kicked things off with refreshing mocktails--Pineapple Mango Mojitos and Passion Fruit Tea--then dove into a sushi spread that included Passion Rolls, Peanut Avocado, Dragon, and Dynamite Rolls. The Korean BBQ Dinner? Next level. Think lamb, chicken, short ribs, bulgogi, crab legs, shrimp, dumplings, and all the veggies you can dream of, grilled right at the table. Shoutout to our amazing server Tangela. Ask for her when you go! I took off a star due to no alcoholic options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nonetheless, it Affordable, family friendly, and flavor packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This spot is a must visit in Charles County.

Recently drove up from VA as we are big hot pot fans and really liked our first visit. Wait was way quicker than quoted and service was attentive and friendly. Using the iPad to order is super easy and allows you to pace your food. Items in the buffet were great for quick grab and tasty! Multiple types of kimchi! My only complaint is how sweet some of the marinades are for items that are typically not sweet when you get directly from a Korean restaurant (bulgogi, spareribs were two here that were extremely sweet). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super clean and nice inside. It has a very modern feel and things were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back and would recommend to others.

It's official, the Big Spoon is a fan of Korean BBQ! For dinner on Thursday he said he had another spot to try in the Waldorf area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute restaurant, it's giving FUN![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We arrived to a busy restaurant, we didn't have a long wait which was nice considering how busy it was. This is probably going to be our favorite Korean BBQ restaurant once they get their liquor license. I'm not even going to get into it! There is too much food to list! We ate like Royalty! And...... they have Crab Legs! Come Try this Place! It doesn't disappoint!

I really enjoyed this place! The food was delicious! We got the package with 3 options. Bill came to about $400 and it was a alot of us. The customer service is really good. They did well with explaining everything and checkingon us. The drinks were good and there are several options! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is cute and its clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait to go back!

This was our first TPot experience. We got there early cause we thought they opened at 11. They actually open at 12. We were worried about going to a restaurant and having to cook our on food. We actually enjoyed the experience. It was great from the time we walked in until the time we left. The service was top notched. She was patient with us and explained everything very well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went after Christmas so it felt good since seeing the Christmas decoration up all over the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lunch menu is similar to the dinner menu. We will be back and we will try the dinner menu. The food was very good. If you go, go hungry because it is a lot of food. Remember you can't take home your leftovers.

Ended up ordering a little bit of everything, al la carte, because I didn't want kbbq or hot pot. Nor did I want to eat on someone else's clock. Maybe next time I'll order kbbq or hot pot, so I can enjoy the complimentary ice cream.

Does this location allow for single individual dining? I would like to visit on a Saturday when I have the time off from work around opening hours.

Any news on what the opening day is?

They had soft opening on 1 August.

The meat quality is excellent, especially for all-you-can-eat. Just look at the marbling on the Kurobuta pork. Everything is sliced very thin, so it cooks almost instantly and reaches the perfect texture without becoming tough. I usually get the half original and half spicy broth. The original side is rich, savory, and comforting, while the spicy side has a deep, fragrant heat that builds without overpowering the flavor of the meat. The lamb skewers are also a must. They are fatty, spicy, tender, and almost melt in your mouth. They remind me of the lamb skewers from the street carts in New York. What impresses me most is how this place keeps improving. Years ago, they did not even offer all-you-can-eat. Now they have added AYCE hot pot, a self-service vegetable bar, and an AYCE skewer option, while somehow maintaining the same high quality of the meats and broth. Still my favorite hot pot restaurant after all these years.

After tax and tip, it ended up being $49 per person, and that was without any added on premium stuff. The price can be considered steep but probably is standard for the area, and you do get a lot of food and options. Service was kind of nonexistent as other reviews have alluded to. The servers did not say much or explain anything. You even self serve yourself, hot tea, and ice water. You order the meats on your phone, such as lamb, beef, pork, chicken. Seafood such as shrimp and squid were all available at the buffet area. The whole variety of vegetables was laid out there, plus all kinds of fish balls, Ramen, noodles, shrimp paste, whole crabs, other toppings. There was of course a standard hot pot sauce bar. There was a fridge with premade ice cream cups for dessert. We got the bone marrow broth and the tomato broth them. Both were absolutely delicious. Overall, this was a very pleasant and comfortable hot pot experience. I think better service and a better hot bar in the buffet area would push this to five stars. The hot bar just had fried rice, fries, eggrolls that were very mediocre. Ambiance was okay in the restaurant.

The all-you-can-eat format blends Korean BBQ and hot pot into one hands-on, unforgettable dining experience -- and they pull it off beautifully. With nearly 100 options to choose from, including tender beef brisket, pork belly, marinated short ribs, seafood, and fresh vegetables , there is truly something for everyone at the table. The sauce bar lets you customize every bite, and the variety of hot pot broths means you can go bold and spicy or keep it mild and savory. The appetizer bar features kimchi, pickled vegetables, and seasoned salads that keep things interesting between rounds of grilling. The energy in the restaurant is lively and fun, making it perfect for groups, date nights, or any celebration. Service was attentive and helpful -- our server guided us through the whole experience like a pro. Great value for the quality and quantity of food you get. Even basic items like teas are not included in the price, which is disappointing. It also believe something is being added to the meat to fill you up. I don't know what it is, but whatever it is, it made me feel uncomfortably full after only a small amount of food (4 small wings and 2 thin 1/2 inch slices of meat). That is not a normal or enjoyable AYCE experience. I am not sure where these good reviews are coming from. I have my ideas, and that is that they are giving out rewards for positive reviews. It cannot possibly be because the food is good. I have had similar experiences at the Frederick location as well, so this does not seem like a one-off issue. Overall, it feels like the quality and value are not there. If food has to be altered just to make people feel full and increase profit, then the AYCE model should be reconsidered. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to anymore KPOT locations. There are other Korean BBQ places that don't make me feel sick after eating there.

Overall, the food was good. Once seated, a server hands you an iPad where you'll order your food. To feed two adults and one child, all hungry, we ordered dan dan noodles, orange chicken, cucumbers, BBQ pork bao, pork dumplings, and, of course, soup dumplings. Every dish had good flavor. The dan dan noodles are more soupy compared to nearby Copycat, but it was still good. One odd thing that may be a one off, but worth noting is the wait time. With one other person there and no takeout pickups and three people in the kitchen, it took 35 minutes to get our first dishes. Over an hour later, we got our final dish- orange chicken. We couldn't figure out why there was such a long wait especially when other spots bring out the cucumbers within minutes of ordering. We were hungry so it added to the emotions, but worth calling out in case you're a rush.

The inside had a lot more tables than I thought and the space was bigger than I thought. If i'm being honest, I first chose this place due to the conveyor belt, robot, and $20 lunch price point. Unfortunately, I only kind of got one of those. To my shock, the price increased to $25 for lunch and the conveyor belt was no longer working. I was honestly most excited about the conveyor belt. I saw some reviews that said due to covid they stopped it but if you ordered things, it was sent that way. Unfortunately I think the conveyor belt hasn't been in use for a while because they had decor and everything on it. They did have to robot but it only delivered drink and desserts sometimes. There were even times the robot was on its way to deliver something and the waiter stopped it in the middle of the walkway and deliver the item himself. I wouldn't say the experience was bad but I think it was subpar. Although I did like that the tables give you individual pots because I've been to some places where six people have to share one pot in the middle and it's chaos because you have to reach over people so the individual pot was great. In terms of the actual food it was not bad. The server was actually nice and brought us angus beef which was a dinner item, although we were there for lunch. I mad a great sauce from the sauce bar. I loved the appetizers they had. The fried rice and noodles were exactly how I love it. The fried rice was how i'd have it growing it. All and all loved it and will probably go back at some point. Everything was good except for one thing, which I think is pretty important and influences my final score. When we arrived, I told the server we were new to hot pot and we wanted to try two broths. He showed us the iPad ordering device and told me that we should order a half and half pot for $1 extra to get two broths. So, I ordered a half and half pot, and then ordered a variety of meats and fish. We went up to get veggies, which were all being stored at a good cold temp and all looked good. Then a single SMALL pot (they have two sizes of hot pot) was delivered to our table, half one broth and half the other. As I put some of the ingredients in (we were feeding two people), the hot/spicy broth spilled over to the other (tom yum) broth, and essentially turned the whole meal into a spicy broth meal. We got no taste of the tom yum. As we ended the meal, I noticed that other couples had two different pots. We essentially were cramming food for two people into a single pot (and it was one of the small pots, not one of the big ones). As we went to pay the check, I asked the server if we should have gotten two individual pots, each with a different broth. He said "oh yes. I should have told you that." What??!!? So, we basically spent well almost $90 (including tip) for a single small pot of spicy broth mixed with other broth, and having to spend the time minimizing the transfer of broths from one side to the other by minimizing the amount of food we put into the small pot. Yes, I'm ticked off (and I don't tick off easily). The meal would have been very good, but I feel like we got taken advantage of and the server, when he saw us struggling to keep the broths separate and knew he should have been served two pots, didn't say a word, apologize, or offer us any discounts. I reached out twice to the restaurant through Yelp, but heard nothing back. Again, the meats looked good, the veggies looked good, the sauce station was a nice addition. But everything was crammed into a small pot that tasted the same. And they charged us an extra dollar for the privilege! Ugh. I'm really disappointed - and ticked off.
