As someone who had plans for the weekend and specifically arranged my schedule around this appointment, the situation was extremely disappointing. What was even more frustrating was the lack of professionalism and empathy shown regarding the miscommunication. In a customer service-driven industry, I expected at minimum an apology or some effort to accommodate the situation, especially since the error was not entirely on my end. I chose not to reschedule and accepted the loss of my deposit because I do not feel comfortable continuing to support a business that does not prioritize customer experience or accountability. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that but how a business responds to those mistakes matters. I would strongly recommend implementing an automated confirmation or reminder system to help avoid appointment misunderstandings in the future. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling undervalued as a customer, and I will not be returning.

She wanted me to leave my daughter up front with the door not even shut, but I made sure I shut it, so I waited outside with her until the time and left. My daughter's hair was done for a wedding into a bun with side-swept bang. A 5:30 pm appointment lasted two days until the early afternoon the next day, 3 more hours from 11:30 am after leaving at 9 pm the night before. When I got her that night, her hair was just washed and blow-dried with the appearance of lint. She didn't touch her hair until the next day. I believe she put other customers in front of her. She told me curls would hold and her hair was not easy. Her bang did their own thing after removing the wrap holder at 4:30 pm that she put in place after leaving the shop. My point is if she did not want to do my child's hair, she should have stated that in conversation and text before the appointment was made. I truly thought it was another shop I booked my appointment with until I compared the addresses. For my daughter's first hair salon experience, I felt sad in my own feelings, but I know my princess loved it.
