This was my first time coming here I was sat down to an older gentleman he didn't seem like he knew what he was doing from the beginning one of my nails were crooked and I pointed it out to him but he didn't seem to listen. Meanwhile Nicole was coming over check on his work so I figured he might have been learning which I don't mind as long as the outcome is good. He finished my nails and got acrylic all over my fingers and under my nail bed and nicked me a few times. He sent me to go wash my hands and I figured that he would fix them when I came back because I did point it all out to him. Unfortunately when I came back to sit down he was ready to put gel on them and cure them and send me on my way. by this point my patience had worn thin because he didn't care about his work and I told him he had to fix it. Meanwhile Nicole overheard the conversation and sat me down and ended up fixing all of my nails for an extra 20 minutes. needless to say I tipped her, not him and got her information for next time. please if you go to the shop make sure you get someone who knows what they're doing because you are paying for professional work and I honestly don't think that this man was certified either!! read more

Just happened to stop here because it was on my route. "Kim" did my set and pedi. She made 3 fingers bleed and all my cuticles are sore. Offered a free design for the pain and charged me for it anyway. Nails are thin I can see through the polish. Spots of polish missing, top coat spotty. Don't waste your time or money. read more

The first time I came to this establishment I wasn't impressed with the attitude of the staff but I was pleased with the work Cindy did on my nails. Two weeks later I scheduled an appointment for 5pm with her, came in and a walk-in was in my seat. I waited 20mins wondering if she would be passed onto someone without a client, no luck. I asked Cindy if I would receive a discount for my appointment being pushed , I was laughed at and asked to wait ANOTHER 25mins. 5:50 was not my appointment time and being laughed at to my face by her and the staff is not the way to keep clientele. I went in here for a gel manicure and I was seated pretty quickly, it wasn't busy at all. The guy that did my nails did them in like 15 minutes, quickest manicure ever. Didn't file my nails right and didn't polish them thoroughly either and when I pointed it out he was pretty annoyed and said after I washed my hands it would look better...umm ok? When he finished and I went to pay I pointed out how my nails were jagged and he pulls out a nail filer and "fixed" it. It's now been 9 days since I had them done and they are chipping like crazy. As i was sitting in the pedicure chair, i felt like as if I was in a video and someone had just pressed the fast forward button. I blinked my eye and the pedicure was done. A for somewhat of an effort.. I'm more or less frustrated because they sat me in a chair with a beginner, he didn't know what he was doing . So halfway through doing my nails for an hour all lumpy and what not , someone came over to finish and correct my nails. Then when I told them to just paint it plain put some rhinestones and call it a day they insisted it would be quicker to just paint the tips in a design. It's been a while since I visited here since I moved to SJ a year ago... Just to come get my nails done from my one and only Tammy. She always does a fantastic job on my nails. She pays close attention to what her customer wants and deliver every time. I come here because the staff are super nice and friendly. They treat their customers very well and with great respect. I came on Saturday and they are usually very pack so make sure you call before coming. However, they do take walk ins. Thank you Tammy for always making my nails look so beautiful. This place is a joke! I got the deluxe pedi. No massage, very rushed and hardly any customers. My teen age daughter had a full set. I was very specific and requested acrylic, short & natural for her. Went in on Friday for a pedicure was sat immediately and asked to pick what package I wanted. We picked the 2nd most extensive one and honestly got a basic ass pedicure. All he did was put my feet in the hottest water you could imagine then after saying something was changed to extremely cold water. He then proceeded to take care of my cuticles and by take care I mean completely dig at them so much I had to tell him it hurt, but yet he still continued to proceed. When he sprayed alcohol on them it burned like crazy. That was $45 I don't know how was package was different from the basic. To top it off the man kept putting the uv light on top of my toe causing it to dent the paint job and then blamed me when I said something saying I kept moving my toe! Me and my sister came here to get a nice, quick pedicure done. We told them we just wanted a basic pedicure for the sake of time and they kept urging us to do more although we told them we didn't have time. The man doing my toes rushed to finish my pedicure due to the fact I didn't want to pay extra. My "massage and hot towel" treatment did not happen. Went here for the first time to get a full set. I usually go to Sactown NailSpa but they close on Sundays. I wanted my nails coffin-shaped with regular nail polish. The lady that did my nails... Way too many unacceptable flaws. Usually I don't care because I understand nails won't always turn out perfect but man this lady irritated my soul. She glued the tips onto my nails before actually making sure they fit. She had to pull a couple off & put on wider ones because they didn't fit. Omg it hurt like hell. Seriously pissed me off & she barely started. The tip on my index finger wasn't glued on all the way. When I seen it from the side, my nail looked bent because it was glued at the wrong angle. I mentioned this to her so she tried to push it down and instead of replacing it, she uses glue to fill the gap of air between the tip & my nail. That doesn't change the fact my nail looks bent. She didn't sand down my nails with the power tool after applying acrylic. She did shape the sides with the nail file but left the top alone. You can tell the acrylic is applied unevenly and some nails are way thicker than others. She didn't shake the bottle of nail polish. I'm pretty sure everyone knows the contents in the bottle settles after a while. My 4 year old daughter even knows to shake the bottle of nail polish before using it. She used only one coat of color. I couldn't believe it. I could see the strokes from the brush. Never heard of any technician using only one coat of color before applying top coat. My daughter also knows to use 2 coats!!! And when I thought she couldn't f things up more she rushed on the top coat. The top coat is really thick so I clearly saw the parts on each nail that weren't coated. Looks like clear puddles on my nails. It was really bad. 2 minutes into drying under the fan, I dug through my purse for my keys, grabbed my phone & left. Didn't give a single F about my nails messing up everyone was like omg your nails blah blah blah but I wasn't worried about them when she didn't do a good job anyways. I just don't understand how anyone can do such a bad job. I wouldn't necessarily say I don't recommend this place, only because I don't know how well the other technicians do nails. Lisa is a very skilled nail artist. I always leave happy! I would recommend her to anybody in the area. She accepts last minute appointments and is always punctual. My mother, sister, and I went here and it was terrible and rushed. First she applied tips so fast she broke one holding it down, cut me with the file, and the acrylic was so sloppy some were chunky others were thin. She painted them so fast I had to ask her to clean it. Within 5 days all 10 nails were lifted so I came back and she fixed it for free, also rushed. My nails didn't last a week after the fill. The three of us were charged differently. We all got the $50 deal, I was charged $10 extra for decorations that's I wasn't charged for length . My mother was charged $10 for length and gel. My sister was charge $90 for decorations, gel, and length ( we had the same length and decorations I paid $60 she paid $90) read more
