She was careful. Checking in along the way - ensuring the products I picked were best suited for me. She took her time. She recommended the hot stones for my circulation concerns (I had mild edema since I began taking a new medication 4 months ago). THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: the edema is completely gone since seeing Christina. The combo of her massage together with the hot stones did the trick. She was amazing. Highly recommend! Wish she lived close by. She'd have a new regular customer.

Too much of my cuticle was cut so that area was sore and stung when they poured alcohol on it. The pedicure was good, but the tech cut too much on the bottom corner of my big toe so I bled. They didn't hear me say ouch, but noticed the second time I complained when they poured alcohol on my toes. Not my worst experience, but also not the best.

About half the time I receive the full 10 minutes, and the other half it feels closer to 6 to 8 minutes. I realize that may sound minor, but when something is specifically advertised, I expect it to be consistent. It is less about the time itself and more about the expectation that is set. Overall, I still return because my experiences here have been better than other places I have tried in the area. With a little more consistency, this would easily be a higher rating.

I appreciated that this place took the risk and still served the public. For that reason I remembered them and came back today. My visit this time was for a gel manicure. I wanted a change of pace so I drove south to Visalia this time around. The place itself has a home feeling and the hospitality is incredible. My nails are cutesy and the amount of time spent with cleaning cuticles, filing, polishing, and massaging was stellar. I never felt like they just wanted to rush me out the door. I got the Royal Pedicure and skipped the callus removal, so they kindly deducted $5 and gave me extra massage time instead, which I loved. They have great massage chairs too! Hanh (pronounced "Hon," like Han Solo ) did my pedicure and was so friendly, professional, and attentive. The whole salon had a welcoming vibe and everyone communicated really well. They quoted me a short wait and I was seated in about 15 minutes, even with only three technicians working and all of them busy. She did my pedicure and gel manicure. Mai did a fabulous job with my deluxe pedicure. When she finished with my manicure, as I went to pay I noticed some of the chrome transferred to my other nails and she fixed it for me. Edited to five stars on 3/09. Yesterday, I called and explained that one nail was beginning to bubble. They were able to squeeze me in, and Mai was able to fix my nail for me with 0 cost to me.
