I wish I could leave 0 stars. The man who did my nails was rushing so much. He cut my toe badly and it started bleeding. Then he went back to the same toe and started cutting it even more when it was already bleeding and hurting badly. I asked him to slow down and clearly said "ouch" but he kept rushing so much. The whole process felt so rushed and the polish was uneven on both feet and I asked him to fix a toe multiple times, but he kept saying it was ok and was just like he'd file it down when It was already too short and i asked him to make it thinner from the bottom side of the polish. I felt like I wasn't being listened to at all. I've never had this type of experience at a nail salon, truly a waste of my time and money. I will say the other workers and managers were nice, but the man doing my nails did not do a good job at all and i'm very disappointed. As usual, they just talk in their native language and it gets uncomfortable at times because it feels like they are talking about you. But that is not why I gave 3 stars. I asked for a full set and the man asked if I wanted gel color. I asked how much more is the gel. He didn't give me an answer, he just proceeded to hand me the gel color options. The nails themselves came out OK. But the process was the worst I have experienced. I've been getting my nails done since I was a young teenager, but no nail tech has hurt me the way this nail tech did. I literally had to pull my hand away at one point. When it was all done, I had minor bleeding in four different spots. My nails and fingers hurt for a couple days after as well. The tech also did not even ask what nail shape I wanted. There was no communication. I was also disappointed in the color. It came out more transparent. Treated myself to a pedicure and manicure for the first time in forever and based on reviews decided to check out this salon. Pros- did not have an appointment and was immediately sat for my pedicure. The girl who did my pedicure was very sweet and thorough. No complaints there! Cons- I requested a manicure with gel polish, and showed my nail tech an image of what I would like done. I did NOT get a manicure, and when he removed the polish I still had a lot of dark polish visible on my cuticles. He began painting my nails while I was getting my pedicure done, which normally would have been fine. But I am currently 8 months pregnant and it was very uncomfortable for me to bend towards him in order for him to paint my nails. He didn't understand how I wanted the design despite showing him an image and telling him once he began painting that it was not what I wanted. Eventually another tech came over and understood what I wanted and corrected the nail design. At this point it was too late for a manicure and the gel polish had already been set under the UV light so there was no getting the old polish off of my cuticles. I was going to let the entire experience go, until today my gel polish is already cracking and breaking off in large pieces. I have only had this polish on for less than 3 days. I am normally not one to complain or write a bad review, but my entire experience at the salon was really disappointing, especially considering this was the last "me" time I was getting before my baby is born.
