I discovered, you can buy some top quality hair care products on line or at other outlets - often at a price lower than what's going on here at Bluemercury. I went here recently to get advice, expert recommendations and friendly service. I went in for a gift for my honey and was shown a few interesting products. I went a little crazy and bought $100 worth of exotic potions and conditioners. While I shopped, a young couple came in, immediately got much better service and attention and, after buying a few things (I think they spent about $30) got a handful of free samples. When I checked out, I received no free samples and, despite knowing that I was buying gifts, they didn't offer gift wrapping or a gift bag. Hmmmm? Not sure why... These folks have lots of nice products, but they sell stuff at list price. I can save money by going elsewhere so when I shop in a high end shop, I expect the service to compensate for the higher prices. I'm disappointed that these folks miss that point. I'll probably stop back for a quick gift if I get desperate but I'm not going to become a regular unless the staff gets with the program. Recommended? You make the call...
