Coconut Point is a very nice outdoor mall. They have a nice selection of well-known stores, as well as some cute local businesses with interesting finds. The parking lot is well lit and I always feel safe coming here. read more

Stellar retail shopping area in an outdoor shopping environment. Newer and very spread out so put on those walking or athletic shoes or you will find yourself wanting to drive over to another area. Parking is plentiful. They are located off HWY 41 and have several entrances. Lots or eating establishments and plenty of sitting areas or benches along the way to rest your feet. I love this shopping center because of what is all around it. Throughout the main area there are stores like Bath and Bodyworks, Barnes & Noble, Apple, a huge movie theater, and Charming Charlie. Around the corner are places like, Ross, SuperTarget, TJMax, Petsmart, tons of restaurant choices, and you also have a small hospital nearby in case you need emergency care after all of the shopping. Overall this is a fabulous shopping area and has almost everything you're looking for with large stores. read more

My absolute favorite outdoor mall. There are so many variety of stores and restaurants. There is plenty of parking but close parking comes with luck if you come around dinner time. Went to Coconut Point when vacationing in Captiva. Loved it!!! But I prefer outside mall areas. Enjoyed the smaller venues like Lilly Pulitzer and the staff at Tommy Bahama were very helpful and fun people!!! Very happy to see a Fresh Produce Store....something not found in the St. Louis area. Dined at Blue Water Bistro and had the best Mango Margarita!!! Great food also!!! I did not find parking/walking to be a problem as some other reviews mentioned. I will definitely come back when returning to the Ft.Myers area. read more

This mall is swanky. It has target Dillard's a lot of high end stores. It also had the best TJ Maxx in the area. Entirely outside. It's spread out. There's a farmers market one day a week. Good restaurants. Even condos at the mall. You could live at the mall! Too much temptation! read more

Love Coconut Point! It's big and can be confusing to navigate at first, but once you know your way around it's great! I love that if I need to just run into one store I can usually park very close and be in and out quickly (except during high season of course..but you have to expect to park far away everywhere in season or you will constantly be disappointed). All-in-all a very good selection of stores and MUCH easier to navigate than Gulf Coast Town Center. Restaurant selections could be a little more varied, but if they just added a Homegoods I would never have to go anywhere else! read more

This place just gets bigger and more complicated every year. Simon Properties does a quality development and I enjoyed many things here, but with massive seniors driving, parking and being confused, be prepared for "time-outs". Great retail, wonderful variety and nice mix of high end and generics. Condos, dining, movies, shopping and services. It's all here. BUT way finding is pathetic, signage is sadly minimal and no one knows where anything is. I had people stop me twice in 30 minutes and ask where the restaurants were located. It's all classy and cute, but people need information and signs! Parking is stupid bad. I gtd that they build a high rise garage in the next year. It's dangerous and confusing, you have to park six blocks from where you want to go. People also wait for long minutes for someone to leave a highly coveted parking spot. Traffic backs up, time outs, old people are slow, it's ok. Beware holiday Shopper's: it's gonna be scary! read more

My husband and I loved this shopping center- which is amazing because my husband doesn't "shop." We really enjoyed all of the cute little shoppes and walking around taking in the scenery. There are pleasant eateries and places to grab a cool drink. We also enjoyed looking at all of the fountains. read more

Trendy, casual, and pleasant for a date or a night out. The mall is also good for getting all your shopping done in one go - but wait a minute it's sprawling, so it's not really one go. you still have to drive from store to store. But if you're on a bike, it's easy to zip over. read more

I am a Coconut Point regular having shopped at least once a week for a long time. My family enjoys all the shopping dining at this great spot. While recent radio ads are touting what a dog friendly destination Coconut Point is, I have noticed a change. I was asked to move to a different area in one store and was barred totally from entering another. My 8 pound pup was zipped completely covered in a dog carrier and was silent. We all recognize that malls cater to affluent women and affluent women love to have their tiny pooches accompany them on shopping trips. Mall management needs to have a conversation with their tenants and explain the real dollars behind this error. It also might be a good idea to review the federal laws regarding service animals - I've got one. read more

Awesome outdoor mall south of Fort Myers. We were vacationing on Captiva Island (TweenWaters In n-highly reccomend) and my daughter had an emergency that requires a visit to an Apple store. Customer service there was outstanding, and then we decided to grab lunch at Tommy Bahamas Marlin Bar. What a great spot to dine and drink outside on the mall, and a nice change for a few hours from the beach and pool. Will definitely go back on our next visit. read more

Coconut Point is a great mall. We weren't sure what to expect when construction started, but have been very pleased with the result. Terrific atmosphere, great selection of stores, pretty easy to access, etc. This mall has it all as a destination! read more

This is a very nice shopping center definitely worth visiting. It's an open street style shopping. It's huge and has office condos and residential units within the area surrounded by lakes and a boardwalk. Strolling around here is pretty neat. Perfect place to eat, shop, or even catch a movie. Yes, they have a movie theatre here. Plenty of stores to shop for men, women and kids as well as restaurants to choose from. No Macy's or Bloomies but they have a Super Target and the department store Dillards. read more

I love shopping at Ulta so I decided to get my hair done there. The girl seemed very nice, we sat and I showed her pictures explaining exactly what I wanted and how scared I was to have her do my hair. I even called 4 or 5 times before that to try to find the right person. She ended up cutting 3 WHOLE INCHES OFF MY HAIR! And gave me the hair cut I told her I did not want. I didn't want it blunt looking specifically. Now my long beautiful hair is not even to my bra strap.. it's almost to my shoulders and it was down to my but. She cut off more than 3 inches I will tell you that! I was so devastated I freaked out in the salon not even letting her blow dry it. She argued with me in front of the manager saying that's what I told her to do! I tried to talk to the lady that did my hair and reason with her explaining how I felt. She said "IM DONE TALKING TO YOU ABOUT THIS". So I left without paying. I even felt bad and called back up there to apologize and even offer some type of payment. The hair manager was nasty and basically hung up the phone. I felt like I was surrounded by a bunch of high school catty girls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ULTA FOR HAIR CUTS!!!!! read more

I have been here a couple times now in the past few years. This place has a lot to offer if looking for several stores in one place and some places to eat as well. It very clean and a cool place to walk around. They have small stores and large anchor stores and a movie theatre. Many options for men & women. read more

This mall is basically a outside walking mall. It has a lot of fun stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, huge book store and Target among others. It has bridges to walk across and ducks/geese in the ponds. It is surrounded by lots of palm trees so coconut point seems to be the perfect name for it. There are also a ton of places to eat here. I think this might be the best shopping area in the Estero/Ft. Myers area. read more

Bad Experience at Verizon But Love this mall, I had a very upsetting situation at Verizon today. Not sure if I will be going back. Lauren and the manager Constance had very bad customer service skills. I had already spoken to a Cust Serv Rep via *611 and I was directed to this location with notes already posted to my account by phone rep for cancellation and number swap since my contract was expired. They then told me I now have two contracts and I would have to pay a $300.00 cancellation fee. After me explaining the situation to the both of them 6 times they still did not get it and tried to reverse the situation as if I was lying and not correct. When I actually was CORRECT. Neither of them made an attempt to call anyone to clarify or to help resolve my issue. They just stood there as if I was stupid. Then I explained that I have been with Verizon for pushing 8 years and they should not be treating me like this. Was then told by Constance "that if I have been with Verizon for so long I should know how their contracts work." I could see we were getting nowhere so I just walked out. Anyway I called *611 back and they took care of everything for me as was to be don't in the store and I was not charged a cancellation fee. They also apologized for the problems I encountered at that store. I will stay with Verizon. Just a word of advice to all reps, Always do your due diligence before you tell a customer something that is wrong. Learning Lesson read more
