Price is average. Seafood lover, not many choice for seafood, but the potato that we ordered was tasty and crispy. Service is good Outdoor seating is available too. Great selection of appetizers.

Coco pazzo is near the Duomo in the chic high fashion district of Milano There are two places 1- an outside simple cafe 2- a nice bright restaurant behind the cafe The decor is very white and cheery BUT someone needs to dim the lights for dinner It is amazing how lighting effects dinner to me. If a place is upscale the dimmed lights make the ambiance so much better. If the ambiance was better I may have given this restaurant 5 stars The service is good The food was very good The wine list was reasonable with a nice selection of Italian wines The burratta Pomodoro was delicious but the balsamic was too watery The bread had a perfect chewy crust and flavor The swordfish with Sicilan caper sauce was very nice The veal scaloppine with porcini mushrooms was fantastic A very good restaurant

A nice quiet restaurant with some good seafood options. Based on other Yelpers we came here and we were not disappointed. We tried their bruschetta for appetizer followed by a chicken Caesar salad for the wife and I had sea bass. The Caesar was nothing to write home about but she wasn't that hungry. However, the fish came whole and the waiter asked if I wanted it filleted. He did a great job of taking it apart and presenting it on a dish with scalloped fried potatoes. Fish was tender and tasty. For dessert I had spotted a cannoli on the way in and it happened to be the last which meant was coming to me. It was very tasty and a great way to finish the meal along with a cappuccino. Service was normal, waiter wasn't too talkative, very straight to the point, but that's how it is here in Europe I find.

This place was our least favorite of our trip. The service was on par with what you expect in Europe. We had to get the waiters attention and he didn't really offer any additional service beyond placing our order. Not bad service, but nothing over the top. Their parppadelle pasta was over cooked, and the sauce tasted as though it was from a can; they also served it with what looked like Kraft Parmesan cheese. The salad my husband ordered had canned tuna on top. Normally, we look for places that do not cater to tourists, but the hotel recommended this place and it was nearby. They also tried to overcharge us. Luckily, we noticed the error before paying the bill. They do have a decent selection of wines, and while we did not try them, the desserts looked good.

Perfect for a casual light dinner after walking the streets of Milano. Order the Carpaccio to start. Reasonably priced. For those who like to eat dinner from 6-7:30pm They are open all day so you don't have to wait until 8 or 9 to eat dinner. Bon appetito!

Rigatoni with tuscani sausage and onions

First review in English! This restaurant had a very warm and comfortable feel. A few of the waiters spoke English, so that saved me from embarrassing myself with "Ciao! Mi dispiace. Non capisco. Inglese?". I ordered a pellegrino and a rigatoni with tuscani sausage, onion and sheep cheese. Before the meal they gave me a basket of bread along with olive oil, balsamic and black pepper. Bread was alright but I was disappointed with the balsamic. It was watery, which I thought only Americans would buy such a low quality balsamic (or can they even be considered balsamic?). The pasta, however, was fantastic! The sauce was a mixture of super tender and sweet onions, some fresh tomato paste, basil and sheep cheese. The creamy and tasteful sauce along with the al dente rigatoni (boiled for 10 min?) was a wonderful dish. The bill did not include a table service fee (coperto), which I was very pleased to see as I saw the coperto fee as a substitute to tipping, but I like the practice of tipping (capitalism please)! Most importantly, I was not bothered at all during my meal, but whenever I need help a small wave would do the trick. I will check out their outdoor store next time after I dine with them. Ciao!

    Minestrone soup was very good

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around. Just wanted a light snack. The minestrone soup was quite good and the wine was also very nice. Very fairly priced, too. Looked like a very local crowd; not filled with tourists.

Americanized Tourist food. "Safe" choice if you're worried about trying Italian foods. Very friendly staff. Clean. Fast service.

This being my last day in Italy, I wanted something that would take my breath away. It started with great customer service. It was a bit chilly outside, but we opted to sit out there in lieu of a 20 mins. wait. They had heaters if we needed them. The food was beyond my expectations. For starters we had the stuffed zucchini flowers. I would have preferred them not fried, though still very tasty. We shared the Ossobuco with Saffron Risotto - the lunch portion was large enough to share, but I have to say, after the first bite, I regretted sharing. I could have eaten the whole thing. I had to try the creamed fava beans, so I ordered a side. No regrets whatsoever. My taste buds were doing the tarantella! Everything was fabulous, paired with a glass of Pinot Noir.

Review Title: Good Experience in Brera, But Not Quite What We Expected…read more We were looking for a more local dining experience in the Brera district and found Osteria Brunello highly recommended, including by AI suggestions mentioning that locals frequent this restaurant. We made an 8:00 pm reservation and were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff throughout the evening. As dinner went on, however, we noticed that almost everyone around us was speaking English, and it felt more tourist-oriented than we expected. We were automatically given English menus as well. This is not meant negatively at all, but part of our joy in traveling through Italy has been trying to learn and understand the language ourselves. We honestly would have enjoyed being given Italian menus first and figuring things out on our own. The menu was straightforward with a decent variety of choices, including chef's specials highlighted on the menu. The food was good overall, but nothing particularly memorable compared to many of the wonderful meals we've had throughout Italy. It was enjoyable, just not a standout experience for us personally. That said, Milan is a beautiful city and we've truly enjoyed the food scene here. Others may absolutely love Osteria Brunello, but for us, it's probably not a place we would return to on a future visit.

Well we ended up choosing La Carbonaia and we were not left disappointed, or at least, not completely. The place is very small and characteristic, the grill is front and center with a display of costate fiorentine in front. I like the vibe. They bring a complimentary appetizer, mondeghili, typical Milanese fried meat balls, de-li-cious. I order a grigliata mista and the others order a fiorentina. The grigliata mista is kind of disappointing, especially the serving size. It's a very small plate with just three types of meats, I expected more quantity. It was very good, but not filling at all. The fiorentina was delicious, with some very tender pieces and other not so tender ones. Very rare, they don't even ask how you want it, that's the way you have to have it anyway, all in all a good experience.
