I heard so many great things about this place so was excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience. The food was quite pricey and I did not enjoy it. This restaurant is well known for their seafood, hence the name, so I assumed there was some secret sauce or seasoning to the food but unfortunately there isn't. It's just seafood. You get a lot of. That's it. I like seafood but there wasn't anything special about it here. This location is quite big. We had a large group, around 18-20 and we were seated right away on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely has that bar ambiance, as their name specifies. The only reason I give it a 3 stars is for their service. The gal that helped us was extremely sweet, patient and friendly. Excellent customer service! If you're just looking for seafood, nothing special, check it out. It was nice to finally try this place out but probably won't come back.

We didn't know what to expect when we ordered from Cocos Mariscos. We made the trek from Everett because my SO wanted mariscos for his birthday. It was Sunday and when we stood outside before going in, we weren't sure anyone was inside because the windows are covered by that film you can see through from inside, but not outside. We were shocked to see that the restaurant is huge inside. And every table was full of families and couples who were enjoying their meals. From the time we called and a friendly woman took our order to the time we picked up, we received excellent customer service. It's upsetting to see one-star reviews on Yelp that are from people who never even WENT to the restaurant. The racism in Snohomish County is one of the reasons I don't feel comfortable coming to Snohomish as a POC. I don't frequent any of the businesses here, but I would come back to Cocos Mariscos because the vibe here is fantastic. Take the one-star reviews with a grain of salt. Especially if it's obvious that they are targeting this restaurant and not from people who actually paid for a meal there. It seems to be family run. A matronly woman welcomed us in and at least three people behind the counter smiled and helped us in some way. On the way out, even the bartender waved and said goodbye. Now, the food. Everything was good. The breaded coconut shrimp was addictive but I would have loved it even more if it came with a dipping sauce. The garlic shrimp was deliciously seasoned. Yes, it had the shells on. I don't mind that the shells were on, but they were a little hard to peel because the shell was split. The fried tilapia was a gigantic helping; moist, and tasty. BUT. It's expensive. This is not an every day place. It's a place you come for a special meal because you know you're going to spend $$$. The parking lot is busy and it was packed on a Sunday afternoon. It may be best to park a little ways away and walk.

Still the best Mexican in Snohomish. Great fresh quality seafood. Flavorful dishes. Friendly service.

Good food! Great seafood. I appreciate that they left out the cucumbers from the ceviche - it was delicious. My only issue is that it's a bit cavernous so the loud music made conversations difficult.

Inside: they have large open dining area with multiple television screens on all walls Service: our server was so friendly and constantly checked on us. Of note, we got there a little after they opened so it wasn't busy. Food: the flautas were so delicious! And all the food is presented very well. I attached pictures to this review. Hot sauce: tapatio + others are available Cons: I also ordered 2 tacos (carnitas and asada) but the taco meat was dry. That is my only complaint. Price: there is a big price range depending on what you order. You can spend as little as $10 for a couple of tacos or $30+ for a seafood dish for one person, not including drinks. TLDR: Pros: Beautiful and delicious entrees and appetizers and we had great service during lunch. Cons: Their taco meat is a little dry.

Had been meaning to come here for a while and I regret not coming sooner! Good Micheladas, good service and good food. Had a Michelada tower, mango ceviche, and a molcajete and all were delicious! They have live music on certain nights too. I definitely recommend!

Went to visit my daughter in Washington, the place we initially wanted to go to was packed so we went next door to this place. I understand this is a Mexican seafood restaurant but from my experiences to many Mexican restaurants, this was the first place that did not offer chips and salsa. I wasn't in the mood for seafood so I ordered a carne asada plate and Michelada. The carne asada was bland, had no flavor at all. Michelada looks good but tastes basic, my daughter had a strawberry margarita which was salty. I was disappointed and do not recommend unless you're there for seafood.

The food was just ok. Service was ok. My issue is this. A twelve dollar shot of whiskey in this tiny plastic cup. It's smaller than the measuring cup for a bottle of cough medicine.

I ordered through uber eats so I can't comment on the facility itself but the food was the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. The portions are huge and the pa Kalinga was well and for that reason I gave them 2 stars because for the price I paid I'd be more mad if thry were small! The asada tacos had zero flavor and zero salt and had no crunch to them. . The tortillas were not even cooked. They tasted like they took them out of the bag and simply filled them with meat. They fell apart once I tried to eat the tacos. The ceveche was $29 and I was happy to see lots of different items(shrimp, squid, fish) but again no flavor at all. No salt, very little cilantro, onion, tomato. It was all seafood and no flavor. It wasn't even sour from the lemons. The worst was the shrimp salad. It had litterally zero flavor st all! The shrimps were cooked but with nothing? No butter, no salt, no nothing. They didn't even have golden charred color so it was like they were microwaved or something. The cucumbers were almost translucent like thry had froze and defrosted and the only dressing on the salad was clear and tested like water! I spent almost $100 on this order and everything in it I had to alter. I drained the ceveche and squeezed new limes over it and will save it for lunch. The tacos I had to fry up the corn tortillas and cook the meat in some oil and salt. The salad I recorded the shrimp with some flavors and added some avocado dressing. I absolutely hate giving bad reviews but I'm trying to decide if they even had anyone from Mexico working in their kitchen or if they hired Americans? Either way they need to take some lessons on adding flavor to their dishes. I am a firm believer of giving 2nd chances but I am very hesitant on giving them a 2nd chance. Maybe if I go in store and eat inside it would be better! But I'm sad to say it's just a no for me!
