The Repp is where we go when we have out of town guests or we want to have a fancy date night. It can get a bit spendy but the food is always spot on, and well worth it. We almost always start with the clams, and my go to is the chicken marsala, and Bryan has tried everything from the lamb to the scallops. All carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is VERY dark, and always makes me feel a tad claustrophobic, but apparently they do have live music some days of the week (though we've tried to avoid those days, so I can't tell you the quality). Would recommend, just be prepare to spend a few pretty pennies. read more

We went in for wine and food. I ordered the chicken Gorgonzola and a cheesecake. By golly! They were delicious! The sauce for that chicken was thick and tasty I ate the whole damn thing and I usually don't finish my pastas! It was a pretty big portion too. My cheesecake was very good too! I chowed it down too! Went here on a Saturday night for a girls night out. Finding parking was horrendous.. but not the restaurant's fault. Busy place with live music! Tall booths for privacy.. wish it was more comfy to sit in. I ordered the burger.. and it was amazing. Fries were delicious as well. We ordered the calamari to share and it was a good portion. Good Grief, there are some real pills in these reviews ... Disregard them. We visited Snohomish on a recent gorgeous Friday afternoon. I was expecting a crush of people, but we managed to find parking immediately and walked around town. After a couple stops for wine and beer, we walked over to The Repp at the height of people-going-to-dinner-time fully expecting to be turned away because we didn't have a reservation. The place was paaaacked but we lucked into the last two open seats in the bar area. The host was running around like his backside was ablaze, but he was gracious and welcoming. Our server was prompt, polite, personable, and unhurried despite the crowd. We each ordered cocktails: A Hummingbird and lavender somethingorother. For dinner, we ordered the Crispy Shrimp Risotto and a steak. The Repp makes a mean cocktail and our entrees were superb. I couldn't identify the seasoning on the crispy shrimp, but holy hell it was delicious and my steak was cooked to bloody perfection. This marked my second visit to this establishment and it was no different from my first visit eight years ago--simply, top notch. I love this place. read more

We came here on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM. I had been thinking about their El Chupacabra cocktail (posted outside of their door) since I had seen it earlier walking around downtown Snohomish. I ordered the El Chupacabra that brought me in-this was so satisfying. It was smoky, hot (spicy) and cold. My friend ordered a mocktail. It didn't have a name, but it should be an official addition to their menu. It was so good! It was an orange/lavender drink, and it could easily hang with the cocktails. 4.5 Came here on a girls' trip on a whim, and we were so glad we did! All the food tasted fantastic. We ordered the salmon special, shrimp and risotto, seafood pasta, scallops with couscous, and the top sirloin with garlic mash. Every dish had great flavor and was beautifully plated. My friend said it was the best salmon she's ever had, and I have to agree it tasted incredible. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. They were plump, tender, and bouncy. My only small note is that my steak came out more medium than the medium rare I ordered, but it was still flavorful and well-seasoned. I feel bad leaving a low review, but man was our dinner Sunday evening disappointing. Three overworked employees struggled to effectively serve 4 tables ranging from 3-7 people, thankfully our orders weren't messed up but half of our tables food came out and then we wait I waited a solid 7 mins for the rest of our tables food to come out (not a big deal, just understaffed.) The table next to us had a few orders that were replaced from kitchen mess ups I assume. Overall the food though was delicious (minus the Caesar), thank god we didn't get seated at that couch closest to the window... One last thing the amount of cool air that is generated by their fans needs to be looked at. We have been to this restaurant many times. We have been for dinner, drinks and apps, and both. After realizing, imo, the prices are too high for the dinner entrees, we no longer go for dinner. Getting into the bar is about as easy as reserving a table. It's not! However, they have always had a great bartender who makes well balanced drinks and that makes it worth it. We love their appetizers and the prices match a dinner price but you're full after. They serve the best goat cheese cheesecake with a cashew crust. This last visit included great service by our waiter but bad drinks from the bar and overcooked food from the kitchen. We heard the same from the couple next to us as well. We mentioned our unhappiness with our waiter and he mentioned they had someone new in both positions of the restaurant. We hope they figure it out soon. We love and recommend the hummus platter, three cheese dip and the goat cheese fritters. After recommendation from the newcomers next to us, we shared a burger. My husband and the others enjoyed the burger, I did not. I did not enjoy the sauce that was on it. We hope our next visit is back to the usual good drinks and great food. read more

Had a very delicious dinner at The Repp this evening. Had reservations. Was seated immediately on arrival and our server, Amanda, was very nice and took our drink order. Loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. Historic building with interesting lighting and dark wood. It was however a little loud with many people at the bar and loud music as well. The food was amazing and great selections to choose from. Our dinner came out in a timely manner shortly after we had our appetizers and the food was hot and prepared nicely. Went in and asked for a table for one- the man working said to sit in bar- I asked if there were any tables and he said no- even though it was obvious there were tables. The couple who came in after me got served food and drinks before I was acknowledged and then took long time to get drink and I ordered food - took forever and then I had to find bartender to pay It was 3pm- not noon or 5pm The attitude was horrendous and if it was just said there are not enough staff for table service- I would have felt more respect read more

My absolute favorite on the menu is the Sea Scallops over Israeli couscous, with apple, pork belly & lemon. It's rare I am speechless over a dish - but this one is perfection. The Wagyu burger is delicious and very hearty & we are big fans of the goat cheese app(fried cheese with jam? Absolutely!) The arugula & beet salad is delicious as well. Whatever you do, stay away from the 'flatbread'. It's similar to the culinary equivalent of expired Bisquik mixed with water, smashed down on a cookie sheet, overbaked after a slight smearing of oil, basil, maybe actual real tomato slices .. but we strongly consider it a possible frozen product that's been reheated. We are STILL debating this. Further examination of flatbread remains (boxed for take out) divulged it is entirely inedible the day after. Just saying. Save your time and Money. The food is above par - pretty good actually. But the attitude of front host, which i believe is the owner on account he is ALWAYs there, somewhat ruins the whole thing. Scenario 1 - you have a reservation- the front host is friendly, greeting you at the door. You are guided to your table with a smile. Scenario 2 - you don't have a reservation - you are a mere peasant, and you don't deserve respect. You are welcome to wallow in the garbage cans behind the restaraunt, but you aren't of the class required for this establishment. The front host makes this abundantly clear with a rude attitude filled to the brim with condescending tone. This is something we've experienced far more than once. If reservations are required - make it an actual policy. Even so, treat your potential customers with respect. My wife and a friend attempted to dine here tonight without a reservation, and once again were treated like they didn't deserve to set foot in the establishment. Elitism at its worst. We've eaten here a dozen times over the years. Tonight was the last time- you've lost a customer simply because you can't be polite. read more

My favorite thing to do is happy hour in the window seat and scarf down the wonderful appetizers...such a creative and delicious selection. And the bonus is people watching the passersby and chatting with the other folks sitting in that fun space. No matter who I've been with, it's NEVER disappointed! My absolute FAVE go-to spot for any excuse to have a good time and great eats. Snohomish is full of homey restaurants and antique shops. Most of the restaurants serve american basics...burgers, deli sandwiches, steak and fries etc. Repp is just a cut above the Snohomish baseline. My son brought us here for a cocktail and bite and we were delighted. The menu cocktails were varied, well crafted and tasty! There is a full bar, so you're free to order anything you want, but I suggest you give one of their handcrafted signature cocktails a try. They are deliciouus. We also tried several items off the appetizer menu. The clams and margherita flat bread were both excellent. The entrees looked great as well. Service was a bit slow (all tables were full), but friendly and helpfull. Looking forward to our next trip up, we'll be back for a full dinner next time! read more

Absolutely amazing place. The atmosphere is great with the brick and the warm colors. Great bread for starters. I love butter and theirs is herbed. I had the seared sea scallops over the couscous with apple. Amazing. I had become disillusioned recently about scallops from other places but these were seared perfectly and very flavorful. The couscous was the perfect accompaniment. My girlfriend's pork chop was excellent. Tender, the correct temperature. The risotto was great. The cocktail menu was unique and we enjoyed a couple of great drinks. The El Chupacabra was a surprise. Service was just right. They were there when we needed it otherwise left us alone to enjoy.
