Took my Milo in for his fresh cut for the New Year. First off I absolutely love their walk-in policy which is super convenient for last minute ppl like me. I was able to drop Milo off around 12:30 and he was ready at 2. The receptionist was very welcoming and polite. She took her time taking Milo back since he was nervous. When Enrique called he was very upbeat and informative on what to do in between cuts. Really nice staff . Clean and pet friendly. Milo ran back to say bye . I had a bad experience with Boss about 4 years ago. Recently I've quizzed people as they left with their dogs, & all were very complimentary, so I gave them another chance. My poor Yorkie had become the matted queen. She does not allow me to touch her, esp if she sees scissors in my hand (I've never cut her, or injured her in any way). Boss shaved her right down, so she now feels so much better (& I can see how really small she is). Best of all, she did not seem overly stressed when I picked her up. I have been using Boss for quite a few years now. Most of the time my dog looks great! If I see a problem, they fix it. What I don't like is the price keeps changing. We always bring our dog on a Monday which is when they have a coupon. The price was $54 plus a weird amount of change. Today it was $61.39. They never have the right amount of money to give proper change. We have used them since the price was $35-40. They are never consistent with the price and it's starting to get to us! read more

We used Boss on Sunrise for many years with 2 dogs. Now we only have one. This last visit will be our last. Grooming on Nov 11th was a disaster. His one ear was flipped up for 2days. And the grooming was terrible. I told them he had a left ear infection and the right ear was flipped up and both ears cut uneven at the bottom. Looks the same as before he was groomed. Plus they're charging for admin fee 3.99% with credit card and that went away a while ago. We paid $70,92 for a small dog. Pet Smart has a better deal. read more

Great experience! Today we had our new family member - Sushi the Shih Tzu - groomed at Boss the Pet Connection in Sunrise. It was the first time we've had Sushi groomed, so we were hopeful we'd made a good choice. We did! Everything about the experience was first-rate. The shop itself is bright, upbeat, with music playing, and a small selection of pet accessories. Drop off was fast and easy. The manager, Shane, was super friendly and professional, and made us feel welcome. Of course, most important was the grooming. Great groomers. Not so much front desk. Encouraged to come in "not busy" for a normally one hour grooming. Three hours later an additional, never notified in advance, surcharge for unruly animal. After recounting timeline and their verbal statements I was accused of being rude and told to leave the premises. She did not appear to like facts. Was then warned against ever coming to shop as she would call the police as I would be a trespasser. Many years of happily going to the Boss ended badly. Price increases and probably different owners, compared to the past, sends my business elsewhere. read more

Communication is lacking!!! Prior to dropping my dog off I called multiple times to get information for this was my first time boarding her at this business since moving to FL. I spoke with 3 different staff members and consistently received different information each time. I was told there was cameras, by 2 of them, so I can see my dog while she was boarded and that wasn't true! I was also told I would receive photos of her daily and again did not happen. I was told I could bring her blanket, toys etc to make her feel more comfortable and like home because she would have her one "suite" she wasn't given any of her personal items. Then I was told she would be boarded at the Wiles location but day of drop off was told their boarding is done at their Sunrise location only so she would be transported. It was a nightmare! Long story short... I ended up having her get picked up earlier than planned because by the time I did receive 2 photos (2days later) my dog looked horrible and beyond scared! Upon pick up my dogs eye was blood shot red!!! Her anxiety was at an all time high. She was shaking and very uneasy. She has NOT been herself since we grabbed her. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone let alone bring my dog there again!!! Communication is horrible, the service my dog received was horrible the lack of correct information lacked. It was a NIGHTMARE! And the worst part this was her first experience here! I was completely scared from the time of drop off until The moment she was picked up. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Have been a long time customer of this business in sunrise, over 7 years. Never, have I ever experienced such terrible service and disrespect before. I dropped my dog off at 9AM and was told she would be ready around noon. I called at 11:45, and no one answered the shop, as I wanted to check on my dog. I showed up around 12:15, and they hadn't even started my dog! I was so upset, as I do no live close to this place, and I've now wasted another trip. I then asked if they could please drop her off to my house when she was done, I paid the fee, and they agreed. Around 3:45, I called and was told that my dog wouldn't be dropped off for awhile. Infuriated, I then made a 3rd trip to get my dog. She was panting and thirsty, and looked as though she wasn't even groomed. The picture I showed the rude receptionist of how I wanted it, was NOTHING like it. They had groomed her prior, and I showed them the picture of my dog from her last visit. Spending $120+ for a groom, I wasn't satisfied. Jenn was not accommodating and kept blaming the shave on "this is what the owner told me to do." I took my dog home, and spoke to Enrique the next day. He offered to pick up my dog and reshave her. After a second visit for my dog in less than 24 hours, I recieved a call from Jenn asking how I wanted to pay for the delivery fees. Why am I paying again when you guys didn't do the right thing in the first place? She was rude and abrasive over the phone and Enrique then got on the phone and was equally rude. Stating that he saw nothing wrong with her first groom, and that his time was valuable and he would deliver the dog home when it was convienent for him. I paid the extra fees to get my dog home immediately, as I was now fearful for the repercussions my dog might face. Will never do business with them again, and I want all to be aware. Don't believe the reviews, they bribe everyone to "write a review" for a percentage off the groom, prior to services being rendered. Unprofessional and shoty work. Go somewhere else. read more

6/25/2022 When I first called for an appointment for Bella the person that answered the phone was in a rush got asked me no questions about my dog and the style I wanted her hair cut he just said bring her In and rushed off the phone. I bring Bella in and meet Jamie things went well, I picked up Bella and her fur smelt nice and hair cut was nice but a little too long around hair private area and pee usually gets caught there so I asked if they can trim it shorter Jamie said like a Brazilian cut I said yes I want it TRIMMED low before Bella came back to me a dark skinned guy with glasses came out and looked at me then a few minutes later Jamie returned with Bella and she was shaved all the way up to her butt.
