Communication became increasingly difficult whenever I asked questions or requested clarification. One of the biggest concerns was being charged $1,800 for solar light installation. The lights installed are low-quality, appear to be worth a fraction of what I was charged, and they do not work as promised. When I requested documentation and clarification about material costs and pricing differences, my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. I was also charged an additional amount for black railings, with the explanation that the color was significantly more expensive. However, after checking with the supplier myself, I was told there was no price difference based solely on color. Despite asking for documentation to support the additional charge, I was not provided with evidence that resolved my concerns. The project also took longer than expected, with periods where no one came to work, leaving me uncertain about when the job would be completed. Throughout the process, I felt that my questions were treated as an inconvenience instead of being answered professionally. Overall, I was left with concerns about workmanship, pricing transparency, and customer service. I expected a quality deck built with attention to detail and open communication. Story: They came by the house while I was out and told my wife they had *extra* from doing neighbor's driveway, and that our driveway needed it. They said $48 to fix patches. My wife would always say no, but for some reason said, ok for $48. They say no $48 per gallon, so about $1200!!!! She said Hell no. They said *but we already started*. Wife: *but I did not give permission*, etc. They gave a real hard sell so she said she did not have a checkbook so they would have to wait for me to come home. When I arrived, 80% of the driveway was already covered, they had just sprayed on a coat and filled some cracks in a very poor way. The cracks were not just filled like you would fill a crack with caulk (with precision), they had a good 4 inches of crap on either side. This *fill* was very sandy looking and made the driveway look worse than the original crack. Also there were some large holes and they dumped the sandy stuff in there and sprayed over it. It was obvious it would not last. So we argued about them doing work without permission. They played the Christian card and the Jesus card and I said that had nothing to do with business. Oh, and Jesus would not perform work without my permission and then try to charge me. They gave me a sob story about how they used 20 gallons, but given how thin they sprayed in on, I highly doubt that. The one guy was arguing that my wife said *ok*, but the other guy that actually talked to her admitted she said no. I challenged the first guy to confront my wife and call her a liar, but halfway up the stairs he stopped and said he *did not want to fight with her. So I was mad and wanted to get rid of them and I think they played a psychological trick on me. They had said it was normally $1200, but they would take $300-400 to finish and leave. So I caved and said $300. So they price-anchored me with $1200 and then made it seem like I had a choice of $300 or $400. They probably should have paid me considering the collateral damage. They had run a con on me and broke me down like a used car salesman and I fell for it. After they left, and too late, I examined the work quality. The hole filler was terrible and will not last. They sprayed over mulch and other debris that was on my driveway. The crack filling was shoddy. They over sprayed and ruined my steps. They over sprayed and got the bottom of the garage door. They over sprayed and got black on my concrete at the bottom of the driveway. The coating was uneven. They left tar footprints on my slate walk. On the bright side, they did not happen to kill my dog or anything, but that is the best I can say. True professionals...at conning and scamming people. FYI, my driveway is 16x56 or about 900 sq ft. At Lowes their 5gal bucket is $33 and covers 320 sq ft, so about $99 for my driveway (one coat). They sprayed the stuff on thin, so I bet is was even less product and they definitely did not do two coats. I did put a stop payment on the check and they never came back to collect or complain.

When we first hired One Stop Kitchen and Bath for the job, they were responding quick, coming out for the estimates, and everything was smooth. They told us it would take 4 weeks, and we will have a completely brand new kitchen. As the job started, it seemed to be going smoothly, they seemed to be working very fast. However, it started to diminish by week two. They started canceling on days they were supposed to come. I noticed that the design was flawed and cabinets that were put in were not able to be opened while another cabinet was opened. The design needed be changed. The communication practically diminished, we were not getting timely responses from the people in charge. There were instances where they ordered the wrong things that were stated in the contract and agreed on, and they tried to charge us extra for change orders. Be VERY aware of the charge for "change orders", they were very expensive. I am convinced the workers broke items we had in the kitchen and it was stated that "the workers may be afraid to admit they broke it". During the job, a large hole was made in the wall through my garage, they covered the hole with spackle and hung my ladder back up as if it never happened. After I noticed this, I had them come back out and respackle the hole AND repaint it. I'm not sure they would have done that if I hadn't seen it and said something. All in all, the job is finally complete over a year later. The communication after the job starts, was poor, they may try to charge you extra for things that were their mistake. Just be extra aware and speak up if something is done wrong, is broken or missing and stick up for yourself. Double and triple check the design that is drawn out. Make sure everything will open and close as it should and you have room to walk around things. As I said in the beginning, the kitchen looks Fantastic and with a lot of extra effort figuring things out, they are going to fix the mistakes they made...in time. Nice staff and employees that came out, but would not use them again.

She took measurements and our information and promised us a rendering of what out new bath would look like. We gave her creative liberty (because she is the expert) and she showed us a beautiful design proposal. Next came the selection of the materials we were to use, again, the patience Shay showed us is really appreciated since we are "novices" at this. She offered color suggestions, color compatibilities, texture differences and price ranges for the suggested materials. Not once was she "pushing" a certain product or style, although she would offer counter points to ensure we were looking at all possible angles. After looking at four other proposal/offers, we decided to go with Onestop because of the experience already and the price/value promised by Umut. Then came the in home measurements and design, this where Rommel and his team came in and verified what we wanted. We actually did a mid-construction adjustment because of Rommel's suggestion which we welcomed. This adjustment did cost me a dime. Again, very much appreciated. They said it would take up to six weeks to complete, but they were finished in three. The workers were very professional, laying down protective mats when they began and cleaning up after the day. They were also very proficient and letting me know what was going on. Umut came in and did the final inspections after Rommel ensured punch list items were completed.
