The tube slide was AWESOME, I just wish there was a way to get the tubes easily up the stairs or back up the ramp so mom's and dad's wouldn't have to schlep them up there. I was SWEATING because of course my son wanted to go again and again! Everything was clean and in relatively good condition. I liked that they had some dress up items for the kiddos. Though it is a more narrow space, there was plenty of space for the kids to climb and explore. I did not love that they had arcade games in the back, specifically one with giant machine guns. Is that appropriate for a children's indoor playground? I brought my kid here to go on slides and bounce on a trampoline, not shoot aliens with a giant machine gun. The whole place is so cute with animals hanging from the ceiling and murals on the walls but the video games take away from that cute and innocent aesthetic. Food for thought for management!

David was with us that day, and the schedule was planned down to the minute -- when the games started, when it was time to eat, when the kids had free time. There was time for the cake and a second round of games as well. A special thank you for the help at the end -- they collected all the gifts neatly and even helped carry them to the car. Several staff members cleaned the room afterward, so it was done quickly and smoothly. The kids had an amazing time playing laser tag, and I was thrilled that I didn't have to worry about a single thing. This is truly a wonderful place with full service and great attention to detail! Not just because there is a great deal of personal attention from the highly qualified and enjoyable instructor-- but the cozy class size creates a lovely feeling of community with the other.

Melissa and Olya make Pilates welcoming (though it gets hard real quick, trust me). They explain the moves as you go, and can provide several options depending on your needs. I have a bad knee, tight hamstrings, questionable balance... I never felt judged. 2. Great studio. It's small! There are no mirrors! It's bright and cheerful. I'd rather be surrounded by warmth and rainbows when trying something challenging than seeing my mirror image struggling to keep up. They have a range of equipment and everything seems well maintained. 3. Kid friendly, family friendly. They offer kid classes, which I'm interested for mine to try. I think their pilates kids program is one of a kind, and they can work with a wide range of ages. There's an area where kids can hang out if you need to bring them during your session. Notes for others: 1. Parking: Street (metered) parking on weekend mornings isn't difficult, and there are spots in the back. This is an area that might be busier during the week or evenings. We go at times that aren't super busy. 2. Semi-private classes: While it may be out of reach for some people, I recommend trying at least one or two... especially if you're unfit and aren't sure if pilates is for you. Before SolPop, I found Pilates really intimidating to get started in because I had no idea what I was doing and everything felt wrong. I've had a really great experience so far in learning the different forms at SolPop and feel a bit more confident... still wrecked after each session, but at least I'm not injuring myself :)

Bubblemania was so much fun to have at my nephew's 6th birthday…read more They came right on time with all the supplies: kiddy pools, wands of many shapes, and a ton of bubble solution. The kids LOVED it! And it was great for the adults because the kids never left the bubble stations. There were so many different wands and ways to make bubbles. The lady who came did such a nice job. She was very friendly and so sweet to the kids. Any time someone had trouble, she would patiently show them how to make the bubbles. As the activity went on, she introduced other bubble making tools like a rope. Each new item captivated the kids. In particular, a few of the kids were timid at first. I thought the lady was very kind and encouraging. All of the kids warmed up to her and took part with the bubbles. I was happy to see some adults getting in on the fun as well. And even some parents teaming up with the kids to try to make the biggest bubble possible. It was a ton of fun all around. At the end, everything was cleaned up and taken away.
