    Zack coding his game

My son and I went tonight for a Parent and Me Coding Event and it was great. Even though we had to leave early, we managed to build an entire asteroid-like game in an hour! Sensei Justin was so easy to work with guiding us on each step. My 7.5-year-old loved it (and he was a doubter before this)! Thank you for offering opportunities to do something together.

We just had our son's 8th bday party at code ninja and it went smoothly and the staff were very hospitable to our guests and made the even seamless. We were able to bring in catered menu to have adults and kids enjoy variety choices that we had ordered, the decorations and table set up was done perfectly. The decors, banners and balloons were provided by us. But the staff helped set up. The party games was very fun and competitive among the kids and adults. What made this night even more memorable is that we had the whole place to ourselves which made it intimate and enjoyable to our family and friends, thank you Vishal, Ashima and staff!! Highly recommended!!

Code Ninjas is our home away from home. My son absolutely loves this place. The Instructors/Sensais are highly skilled and they will guide your child's way. Vishal and Ashima are very caring and nurturing. My son most likely will truly invent something one day... he has that true passion for inventing and creating and his curiosity is endless. Code Ninjas will be foundational during these important stages of his development. This place will foster the curiosity of your child through coding and program development. My son has tried almost all of the camps here and we have had great experiences and he is always excited and proud of what he is working on. The Create Jr. Program is exciting for our son and we are hoping to see him through to the level of black belt one day. There are numerous camps to choose from... We love code ninjas.

My son attends the coding class for 2 years and he loves it so much. We are very happy with his progress and love the place, the staff, and the owner. They are very supportive and friendly and welcoming. The environment is great and cool and they accommodate everyone's learning needs. My son enjoys the sprite making the most and the free time. Thank you :)

Experience: Amenities:…read more Service: My nieces (4 yo and 8 months) were visiting for break and we were looking for some local expository things to do with them. My older loves animals, insects, and other non-human creatures so this place seemed perfect. We had been many years ago with our littles and they distinctly remember a giraffe so we figured their cousins would enjoy the experience too. We arrived at around 11 am on a Monday morning and found parking relatively easy- I think we were one of two families there which made it easy. There is a very small parking lot just outside the entrance and street parking. We entered through a really fun gift shop and made our way in. They have many exhibits of foxes, monkeys, birds, reptiles, and other small-to-medium sized animals to learn about. Each exhibit provided a learning display. We made our way through the "center" in just under two hours- really taking out time at each exhibit. Wr only noticed a couple of other families with littles as well, making it super easy to move through. While we say snakes foxes parrots and more, we don't see the giraffe . We did learn while we were there though that the giraffe was just visiting as it was being trained by the nextdoor business for television!!! Apparently that's a thing. Love L.A.! Ideal place for little kids! They have space for private parties, benches to enjoy a packed lunch (byobag situation), and a theater-education space where I believe they have events/activities, although we didn't see any. Pro-tip: sister purchase tickets on Groupon and saved money

We were pleasantly surprised by how fun and interesting this place was. Lots of animals to see with opportunities for interactions with wildlife. My favorites had to be the squirrel monkeys, marmosets, and all of the cats! It was also nice to hear of the center's efforts to help animals that had been in poor conditions due to wildlife trafficking. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to enjoy their work with the wildlife. For around $16 a ticket, I will definitely be back and maybe looking into doing an individual animal experience!

Look around before booking - there are a ton of cleaner, cuter options. Not worth it for the tiny space, super awkward seating / table seating for adults (cramped to the back with zero view of the kids) and serious lack of play options. Ghost town; rarely any kids there for open play. Tiny ball pit has like 3 balls, it's all floor, an injury waiting to happen. And randomly, they have large pieces of VR equipment that take up an enormous amount of space. They sit there with DO NOT TOUCH signs collecting dust - gaudy and oddly out of place against a young children's atmosphere. Management and front desk are dispirited and dead-eyed, probably due to overhead and lack of business even after their so-called "remodeling". But definitely not the type of energy you'd want kids around either. Unfortunately, cost comes no where close to reflecting the value provided. Customer is charged extra to make up for their empty tables.

Particularly seeing other members body of work. My only minor wish for the future would be a bit more shelf space for student projects! As I got more into the flow of creating, I found myself wishing there was more room to store work-in-progress pieces between sessions. Each purchase of a course provides access to membership hours where you can come in practice before the classes. They provide the base tools in a black case and if you need more clay it's $25. That being said, the quality of instruction and the community more than make up for it. I'm so happy with the projects I made and I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a new creative outlet! As a note there's a waiting list to become a member after completing the course. So don't hesitate!

The place on the whole isn't that big, which isn't a terrible thing. We came here on a weeknight and it was pretty chill! There was one little girl who was having her birthday here but it was still open for other kids to play. It's always a good idea to call before you come though to check! A lot of the indoor playgrounds I have been to all seem very similar, but it was nice to see some very different slides and activities here! The tube slide was AWESOME, I just wish there was a way to get the tubes easily up the stairs or back up the ramp so mom's and dad's wouldn't have to schlep them up there. I was SWEATING because of course my son wanted to go again and again! Everything was clean and in relatively good condition. I liked that they had some dress up items for the kiddos. Though it is a more narrow space, there was plenty of space for the kids to climb and explore. I did not love that they had arcade games in the back, specifically one with giant machine guns. Is that appropriate for a children's indoor playground? I brought my kid here to go on slides and bounce on a trampoline, not shoot aliens with a giant machine gun. The whole place is so cute with animals hanging from the ceiling and murals on the walls but the video games take away from that cute and innocent aesthetic. Food for thought for management!
