We just had our son's 8th bday party at code ninja and it went smoothly and the staff were very hospitable to our guests and made the even seamless. We were able to bring in catered menu to have adults and kids enjoy variety choices that we had ordered, the decorations and table set up was done perfectly. The decors, banners and balloons were provided by us. But the staff helped set up. The party games was very fun and competitive among the kids and adults. We loved the staff at code ninjas. Unfortunately we discovered that after many months of very slow progress that the staff was allowing our son to play computer games during class time. We were unaware this was happening. Most of the time he spent time there was completely wasted because the staff was too lazy to address this issue even after we brought up our concerns about his lack of progress. If you have a child that is self motivated, focused and can work independently then send them here. Otherwise, don't waste your money. The supervision is poor, especially on weekends. read more

Truly a gem of the San Fernando Valley. The owners of this establishment exude a true passion for their work and it shows in the finished product. The staff seem excited to be there and are extremely attentive to the children's needs. They also do a great job of recognizing when a kiddo needs a little break from coding (they have a wealth of STEM toys for them to play with and clear their minds for a bit). I brought my son here in the hopes that he would meet like-minded children and it's absolutely been working. From the moment we walked through the door Vishal and Ashima made us feel like home, speaking to us as though we'd known each other for years. We had our son's 7th birthday at Code Ninjas this past weekend and it was a huge hit! Vishal and Ashima took great care in hosting the event and went above and beyond our expectations. We had never been so they invited both of our kids for a free trial and to come see the space. The kids loved it and we quickly booked. Vishal and Ashima were great at communicating during the planning stage and the whole staff was such a great help on the day of. They helped decorate, were attentive to the kids, served food/cake, and cleanup! The kids got to play some Minecraft, learn some things, do trivia games, and a hands on robotics type activity all in theme. The parents even got to play some games while the kids ate making it fun for everyone. It truly was a great party and something different than the usual play spaces we go to. As the parent of a neurodiverse child, I came into Code Ninjas with a lot of questions about the program, how they teach, how the children interact, etc. From our first visit, Vashal and Ashima have made my family feel welcomed, accepted, and gone above and beyond to help my son get enrolled and settled in. Their care for every child is obvious in every interaction, and it's obvious they are passionate about their business and love what they do. What I like most is the flexibility built into the program. My son is a fast learner and doesn't do well with cookie-cutter classes where everyone has to work at the same pace. He's also extremely creative and wants opportunities to explore his ideas. Code Ninjas works with each child at their own level, pace, and interests. They recognize that you can learn coding and logic concepts a lot of different ways, and can adapt that to a child's interests. They also are finding unique ways to expose kids to new technology like AI and 3D printing. Parents aren't allowed into the "bullpen" where the kids work, but there is see-through glass where you can hang out and observe. It's not just kids sitting at computers - The kids are working but also talking, interacting, and allowed to move around. We are very lucky to have Code Ninjas in our community. My child started last June 2023 and she enjoys going to coding class ever since. The instructors are all wonderful, kind and motivating.
