I have nothing but good things to say about TEMPEST. My kids have attended some classes and parties in the past, but we attended the Valley location recently for my son's 15th birthday party. Not only did they accommodate me quickly, the party was a blast and big success! The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the coaches were amazing. The front staff was also very friendly. Space is clean with an area for sitting and eating. Overall, two thumbs up and highly recommend!

Tempest is a great place for young ones to learn, practice and perfect his/her parkour swag. (Although, to be honest, every time we've been, only boys working out here.) Classes for different ages/levels are limited in size, so students mostly get individualized attention and time to work on the various foundational, and then progressively complex, repertoire of parkour moves and tricks. Be forewarned they will nickel and dime you for every single thing: every session, open gym, advancement tests, wrist bands, etc., etc. Okay, already. Surprised they're not more discriminate about their background music, which is pulsating and beat-driven, keeps the kids moving, and most of which is fine. But not all of it is age-appropriate; there are young kids and parents here, too, so they should weed out and not impose on anyone the few inappropriate selections promoting explicitly misogynistic or criminal themes and incredibly foul language. Why work their bodies, then befoul their young, impressionable minds? Overall, Tempest offers a great service, is a hugely popular and renowned facility, but this is definitely business. It's not personal. And, yeah, we get that.

This is the ultimate location for parkour and freerunning in the entire United States! This place has been designed and built by some of the nation's best freerunners and traceurs for one purpose, an indoor parkour/freerunning training ground accessible for practitioners of all skill levels. The variety of obstacles is insane, even the most experienced freerunning can spend hours here just deciding on what to try next. Some of the highlights of what is actually in the Academy: 1. Ninja Warrior warped wall 2. Olympic style trampoline 3. gymnastic spring floor 4. MASSIVE FOAM PIT (with 3 main entry points: trampoline, lache bar, and raised platform) 5. Jungle gym with varying distances between lache bars 6. Brazilian Inspired slant wall 7. Brazilian Inspired low walls of varying height 8. Adjacent slant walls 9. Super Mario Bros. 1-1 (sorry no goombas "beginner area") 10. Much more At the time of this writing there are scheduled Open Gym times as well as Academy classes. Mon-Thurs: 7:30PM-11:00PM 18+ open gym (16 and up w/ parent present) Cost: $7 Fridays: 6:00PM-9:00PM 17 and under Monitored open gym w/ parent present (Someone will be making sure the kids are being safe) Cost: $10 Classes are taught weekly and consist of 3 levels of difficult, I believe that you have to be invited to the higher difficulty classes. Level 1 is basic parkour, Level 2 is basic freerunning, Level 3 is Advanced Freerunning. Classes cost $80/Month for 1 class per week (so about $20 per class). On a personal note I found that all of the guys on Team Tempest are super friendly and down to earth and are some of the most skilled athletes to practice the art. If you are someone who wants to get into the sport and are not comfortable practicing outside on concrete, this is a great place to go. I am rather novice in freerunning and was able to attend their very first open gym, I think I was one of the only non-Pros that day, never once did any of them make me feel like I got in their way. Also, its totally worth it to just go and watch some of the Pros do their moves. I give this place 10 stars because it exceeded my expectations, but yelp only lets me give them 5 stars. Well earned.

Clean, well equipped and free parking. My 11 year old son loved it. We did go to the wrong location listed on Yelp and wasted about an hour of our day. One would think they would have been more accommodating to us when we arrived at the actual facility. The very sweet front desk lady have my boy a handful of stickers which seemed to make it all good. Located next to Space X and Tesla. Cool.

I do not/did not participate but I have gone to watch my husband and I must say I am impressed ... Saw a bit of the kids open gym and was really impressed with the way all the kids were encouraging eachother and the way the parents were supporting their kids and other children there. Watching my husbands class and open gym I saw the same thing ..everyone there is really encouraging and friendly ...it is a great atmosphere. Warning it is a gym and def has the gym smell sometimes but I grew up with that and it is a gym soooo it is what it is. I really enjoyed watching and it made me kind of want to try and I really want to do the foam put soooo maybe I'll do an open gym...maybe :) I also love the Mario Brothers theme and the colors in the building Again I haven't taken a class ...I've only observed and from that I really like what I have seen :) today they had testing and to see the coaches talking to the kids who didn't pass was also impressive they really took time to encourage the kids and talk about what this was and wasn't and that it wasn't a failure they will learn more and do more etc ....really impressed with their approach and how encouraging and supportive everyone was there

One of the coolest place for a birthday party.
